My family and I, have been clients at The Simple Tooth since it first opened. Prior to this practice, I had not gone to a dentist for years because the offices I had been to, kept trying to sell a lot of cosmetic procedures and products, plus who enjoys that pain and loud machinery? Not me that's for sure. Dr Le and his staff, are always friendly. They happily greet you when you enter and they're kind. Dr. Le, is personable so there hasn't been any awkward silence during any of my visits. He's good with our kids too. He doesn't up charge us or try to sell me procedures I don't need, and he educates me on what is going on with my teeth. I just came from his office because of tooth pain. He was able to quickly and very painlessly give me a numbing shot and fixed a filling that just completely came off from a prior dentist many years ago. I refer everyone to his practice. He's a great dentist, and his office is very clean. I'm no longer afraid to go to a dentist. I return every six months because its always a good experience with Dr Le. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. This is a late review. The dentist is unprofessional and the lady in front, Susan, is rude. I went here based on a referral from a coworker and the initial visit was ok. They seemed nice in the beginning although I did notice the dentist was distracted and not focusing on what he was doing. He would be talking to his staff then randomly addressing me. He made recommendations for fillings for multiple visits which was fine. What was unprofessional was during the subsequent visit for my filling, he started the work, drilled a huge hole on my tooth then said "let's take a break" and walked away. Turned out he went to work on another patient and I could hear their very friendly conversation, in contrast with his cold attitude to me. I sat there waiting almost half an hour for his "break" and my anesthesia wore off. He had to give me another shot just to finish his work. The wait made me late getting back to work. The final straw was when I called to reschedule my appointment, Susan was happy to help and confirmed during the call she made the change. However, I got a reminder from Lisa for the original appointment time. I called and talked to Susan who immediately denying that she rescheduled. After I told her the exact time I talked to her, she then started to check and realized she rescheduled the wrong patient. Without apologizing for her mistake, she told me she fixed it. Another thing that caused me to get away from this place is I realized this dentist is using his 3D printer to print parts/accessories for his needs which I'm not even sure if they meet regulations or standards. I'm now feeling pain on the fillings that he had worked on and will be going to another dentist to check them out. read more

Let me start off by saying I've never visited this practice. This review is only my experience with phone calls to their office. I called them maybe 7-8 times in the last few months. Each time I've gotten their voicemail. I've received a call back twice. I'm sure they're good based on the number of positive reviews, but I will continue my search for another dentist. Do you want an honest yelp review? Here is mine. First off - He makes crowns in his office. Crown's affect;so much are should be outsourced to a lab...they affect; bite, your jaw, teeth ware and so much more. Should crowns be made fast or perfect and be sent to a lab? My new dentist recommends lab 100% of the time over in-house crown. In-house crown is all about $$$. This dentist made 4 crowns until he got one right/he actually lost money in order to learn -- ON MY MOUTH/gee thanks. If you want to trust your dentist to a low-level of service and crown...then I can't help you...but let me warn you.... ...you do not want a "service-able" crown made from hard-material that creates an unbalance in your mouth/jaw - Gold is best for me but since he owns a crown/CNC machine he better use it right? Again - do you want personalized service of fast service? Do you want a dentist who services you or his loan in the CNC machine...think. Second; He recommended pulling a tooth using digital film xrays BEFORE ever-sending me to an endo-specialist (again speed/$ over the right way). Ask any modern, ration, adult dentist and they will tell you this was an unethical call...and I need nice teeth, after all this is the O.C (lol). I left another dentist who always seemed out to get into my wallet and who also was super invasive whenever it had anything to do with the tools he used in my mouth. I needed to find someone better and who ACTUALLY CARED. DR. Le and his staff are Always very honest. Gentle. And very caring. I found them through the saddleback church directory. No oil changes here, but an excellent place to take your teeth and gums for maintenance. Highly recommended! I've been a customer here for over 5 years since the doors opened. theSimpleTooth is an excellent place to take your teeth in for checkups and cleaning. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like family. The entire process is pain-free: from making appointments, sitting under the spotlight with your mouth open, to checking out and taking free toothbrushes, toothpaste, and the all-important dental floss home with you. Dr. Le is a very honest dentist, one of the few people in my life I can trust. He's not going to try and sell you things that are not needed in order put more dollars in his pocket (an experience I had with another local dentist in my area in the past). The office is very high-tech and always clean. You won't find a fish aquarium with a clownfish named Nemo, but you can chose to watch the movie on the LCD screen while you are in your comfortable dental chair or opt for any local channel. Things have changed so much! I had a filling crack on one of my back molars from a previous dentist: He saw me right away. No shots needed because he uses a laser instead of drills. No pain because he uses a laser instead of drills. No tooth shrapnel, horrible sounding drills or that wretched smell from having your tooth drilled because he uses a laser instead of drills. Frickin' Laser Beams! I was out of there less than half an hour later, my filling replaced, the pain completely gone and my mouth wasn't numb or anything. This was my first visit to Dr. Le's offices. After unpleasant experiences with 4 other dentists in South Orange County, I feel that I finally found a good dentist. Things that really sold me -- 1) Friendly 2) Checked everything with the insurance and got my approval before doing procedures including X-Rays 3) Minimal wait time 4) Did not try to "sell" me "unnecessary" procedures or products 5) Was in and out of the office, without feeling pain in my mouth or my pocket! I cannot recommend Dr. Le enough. I had an accident over the weekend and chipped my two front teeth. I was devastated and was looking to find someone who could fix it and fast. We found Dr. Le through a Lake Forest message board and he did not disappoint. I reached out on his personal line and he got me in for first thing Monday morning, even though the office was completely closed. The entire procedure took only an hour and a half and it was the least invasive dentist appointment I have ever had. The laser technology he uses eased my anxiety and Dr. Le was willing to answer any and all questions I had. The office itself was also beautiful, clean and high tech. I am so happy with Dr. Le's work, no one knows that my two front teeth have caps and they look identical to what they looked like prior to the accident. I recommend Dr. Le to everyone I know, and I have sent many friends and colleagues to "The Simple Tooth" over the past several years. We all love him! Unlike other dentists that I have been to in the past, Dr. Le is conservative in his treatment plans. Most dentist will take the first opportunity to fill even the smallest "watch-list" potential cavities just to make a quick buck right away, but not Dr. Le, he seems to have long-term dentist-patient relationships in mind so he is always sure to explain all options and treatments in full and never makes me feel like a filling is a life-and-death decision that must be made on the spot. This is important to me as a cash patient. His state-of-the-art laser filings are WONDERFUL!!! I didn't even need novocain, and this is important because I hate shots!!! My filling was painless, and quicker than the traditional drill method because I didn't have to wait for any numbing to take affect (or to go away after the visit just before my lunch time)! BTW, my neighbor was just in to see him and I think she said that Dr. Le may be getting a crown making machine in the office for instant crowns too... Great provider! I have been going to Dr. Le for a few years now. The staff is friendly, polite and professional. Super nice office and convenient location. They have all the state of the art equipment. Never an issue getting an appointment. And I love the text reminders about my upcoming appointments. Dr Le and his staff are great! I would definitely recommend him for adults that are afraid of going to the dentist. He's very patient and calm. He's pretty funny too, even though he doesn't laugh at his own jokes...lol which actually makes them funnier. My teenage sons go, and one is terrified of needles! He actually did really good, because he has tried to literally run from a doctor with a needle before. I was really impressed at how calm my teenager was.
