My parents have come here plenty of times and I got to try it for the first time- so of course I had to get a taco plate to try various "proteins" and their rice & beans. Asada is hands down my favorite (and my dad's). They said they make it in house too! Bonus points for places that make their alternative meats. I also got their shrimp and tinga tacos. I didn't realize the shrimp was going to be battered and fried- so that was a bummer for me since I don't like fried food (I'll blame that on not eating meat so not knowing how an actual shrimp taco would be prepared). BUT the shrimp was tasty! Tinga (king oyster mushroom) was shredded so finely, so you couldn't really see the mushroom, but the flavor was there! 3/3 yummy tacos! Rice and beans were super super plain but prepared well. Rico Rico gives plastic bags to tear and squeeze of an avocado green sauce and a red salsa- both delicious. Outdoor seating is nice!

A hefty burrito bowl and a few pink tortillas to dig into it with, that is plant based Mexcellence. There are exactly zero seats in this establishment, which I'm fine with because most of the time I'm getting RRV off of DoorDash, and the rest of the time I'm taking it to my nearby home anyway. Don't expect to lounge around and soak up the atmosphere in here is what I'm telling you. That's fine. The lake is right there. I'm a somewhat new pescatarian who also seems to be getting more and more lactose intolerant as I age, so I'll happily eat vegan to avoid the perils of cheese and cream. I grew up in a Mexican-American household, and since a typical Mexican restaurant is so meat and dairy centric, I was worried I'd be forever relegated to shrimp and fish burritos sans dairy and porkless nopales forever if I needed a fix. I've come to enjoy RRVs plant based dairy and meat alternatives quite a bit. The cauliflower surprised me. It isn't wearing a cheeky wink wink nudge nudge meat costume, it's just straight up crispy (breaded?) cauliflower. Great in tacos. Now for the Rico Rico MVP, the green sauce. Some variant of the newly trendy (thanks for that Cheeseboard, sincerely, more green sauce is a great thing) but steadfast staple of taquerias and Mexican food grocery aisles forever, I've used leftover packets on anything from ramen to pizza. I'm guessing it's avocado/tomatillo/cilantro/lime based? Whatever it is, I want to buy it by the half gallon. Don't get me wrong, the red sauce is nice, but the green sauce elevates anything it touches. Like most takeout Mexican, service is fast and efficient, but like I mentioned, Rico Rico Vegano is a "both my wife and I worked a full day and are exhausted" staple meal so the service tends to be moot. I bet they're friendly to DoorDash drivers too. If any of this sounds good to you but you wish they served meat and dairy...you're in for a pleasant discovery. Rico Rico Taco is around the corner, they even have seating. Same high quality food, for the carnivorous palate.

Pacifica Roll (10/5 stars) - the best thing we ate, perfect creation of flavors that don't overwhelm each other, it's perfectly savory Poke Salad (5/5) - does it tastes like fish? No. But it's a great combination of textures, you have the chewy king oyster mushrooms and soft fried tofu, the crunch of the veggies and the cashew dressing is addicting Da Bao (5/5) - I didn't like the vegan spam alone (I personally like this other brand more) but here they paired it well with veggies and plum wine sauce that makes it work. The vegan spam here is too smokey for my tastes but together it's good. Roasted Garlic Miso Ramen (2/5) - Honestly, it was the only not good thing we had. The broth was neither garlicky or miso-y. It was very mushroomy. It was all one could taste. The spam did not fit with the ramen and was very jarring to taste in the ramen. Yuzu Matcha (5/5) - It's sour but not too sour. Like it wakes you up witout making your face pucker. Absolutely cannot wait to come back!

For dinner, we ordered Dahi vada chaat, chicken trio, maharashtrian style chicken curry, sag with makki ko roti and beetroot roti. Everything was flavorful and felt thoughtful done. Not greasy, not overly heavy just really well balanced. Highlight for me was beetroot roti which is not available in any other restaurants. Roti was soft, warm and impossible to stop eating. Perfect balance of sweet and savory. The only downside is sharing amongst people, it is not that much. Overall a 5/5, i believe this is a must try The goat curry we got was just ok. I would not get jt again. I did not really care for the flavor. Overall a 3/5. Not pictured but the AFC is really good and an amazing appetizer. I just kept going back for it. The venue is really pretty. Their cups are cute and they have outdoor and indoor seating. The overall atmosphere is calm. Their service is ok. Nothing spectacular but their waiters are really nice, and they bring food on time. Overall, a good experience. I enjoyed my time there and will be going back :)

I like that they have a patio area, but it's been full each time I've been, so I haven't had a chance to sit outside. The staff is kind, though they tend to be a bit slow when taking orders at the front. I guess it's nice that they don't rush things, but it can be a bit frustrating when the line is long and they're chatting with each person ordering, which feels like forever. However, once you sit down, the food is delivered quickly. During my first visit, I ordered the Lobster Roll with fries, a donut to-go, and we shared an order of Fried Mozzarella Sticks. The donut was very mild; I've had way better vegan donuts, so I wouldn't get one again. I thought the lobster roll was good, but not great. It did not remind me of a lobster roll at all and was too acidic in my opinion, so I wouldn't get that again either. I loved the mozzarella sticks, though. As a vegan, that typically dislikes vegan cheese, they were a hit. My non-vegan best friend loved them too! During my second visit, I ordered a Jalapeño Business sandwich with potato salad, rocky road to-go, and mozzarella sticks to share since I loved them so much the first time. My friend got a Buffalo Ranch Fried Chicken sandwich, and we decided to swap halves to try more things. I love spicy food, so if I had to choose a favorite, I'd pick my sandwich over hers, but both sandwiches were fantastic! The potato salad was good, but kind of bland for my taste. The rocky road was so yummy, and like last time, the mozzarella sticks did not disappoint. I love supporting fully vegan restaurants and will definitely go back to try more items on the menu. Maybe brunch next time I'm in the area? Not sure, but I highly recommend dropping by. Whether you're vegan or not, they have something tasty for everyone. In fact, each time I've gone, it's been with non-vegan friends, and they all say they'd eat here again.

They are open again!!…read more I visited Millennium the day of the re-opening in June 2026. I was so happy to find out that the food is still among the best food I've eaten, vegan or not. The new concept is prix fixe dinners on the heated, covered patio, and à la carte inside for walk-ins. I ordered from the à la carte menu and it was awesome. So easy. So delicious. My table ordered the cascatelli pasta, smoky glazed tempeh, coriander & arborio crusted oyster mushroom, and for dessert the summer sundae and chocolate tart. We were sharing so I got a taste of everything. Just amazing. It tastes just as good as before but feels much more approachable and affordable with the new concept. And you can still get the fine dining experience if you want it. I can't wait to go back on a Tuesday to try the pizza. I've heard it described as the best vegan pizza in the Bay Area by people who know what good pizza is, and I can't wait to try it. All food is vegan, and almost everything is gluten free.

You can only order the fixed menu on the patio, and the à La carte menu inside. But it doesn't say that anywhere. This is one of those places that takes a paragraph to describe a dish, but you still won't know what you're getting unless you're the chef because of the descriptions and names that they call things. We decided to stay inside and go à la carte. My family each got the veggie burger, and I went with the pasta. They seemed to like their burgers. I like my food to be a bit more straightforward, so I thought the pasta would be a safe bet. It came with a smear of pesto on the side of the dish which, although looks fancy, made the dish very impractical. Mixed in with the pasta was some arugula and cooked cherry tomatoes which they describe as a confit, but they're not. Just cooked tomatoes. The shape of the pasta was kind of difficult because it splits length wise and makes it impossible to stab with a fork, which you have to do in order to get some of the pesto on it. Over all, it was good, but I think I'd prefer a different shape of pasta and have the pesto on it instead of on the side. One thing that kind of bothered me was that my pasta came with no sides of any kind. And the portion was "fancy" so it wasn't generous. But it was the same price as the burger, which was piled so high that you literally can't fit it into your mouth, and they came with a generous side of veggies. So my family took half of their burger and all their sides home after only eating half each, and I finished my pasta and had room for more. For the same price. So I'd say the pasta is not a good value. Service wise, we had to ask for them to bring drinks that we ordered, even though they weren't busy. The ambiance was ok. Music not too loud, so we were able to talk to each other. I definitely wouldn't have chosen to come here but I guess people like places like this. I just like to know what's going on my food without needing an encyclopedia and a decoder ring.

The good: fresh, quality ingredients The bad: started with the host/wait list. I accidentally added my name twice for a solo diner. Host thought it was a mistake and completely removed me from the wait list and seated other parties that came in after me. Thoroughly confused - she didn't even call my name to confirm so I had to go up to her and ask. No apology either. Was seated at the counter where solo diners usually sit. Service was non existent. Server came up to me and ask "what would you like to order?" I've never been there before. No "hi my name is ... I'll be your server" nada. They're just a machine - people in people out. The ramen - broth was fine. The squiggly noodles aren't my favorite. Expected to have kernel corn but had corn ribs instead (good thing I'm good with chopsticks!) The charshu was just okay. Enoki topping was just ... aight. The nice touch was that they didn't put it in the ramen and served it on the side to preserve its crunchiness because it definitely needed the texture! It was loud, busy, and nothing spectacular about the dining scene here. $55 dollars later (ramen, 2 additional toppings, one box of sake) ... I sadly don't think it was worth it.
