While Navy Federal has one branch in Round Rock, TX, doing basic financial transactions has been a chore. To sum, I was given a list of locations where I could do transactions with one having an non-existent address and the other branch not having a banking relationship with Navy Federal at all. While I was off work today, I drove out to the Navy Federal on Louis Henna Blvd in Round Rock, TX. I told Justin, the credit union representative, my story about the non-existent location and he told me they could not always update their list and that when I get close to a location I should use Google maps because their addresses could be off by a digit or street. He made this sound so normal. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. How about when financial institutions publish any locations the address should be precisely correct? Then I asked about what locations allowed deposits. He said I had you had to first filter the list from the text I was sent and based on the icons you could see precisely the locations. I filtered on the list and it did not filter as he expected. So, he then said that it works better on a personal computer (PC). Of course, nothing was conveyed regarding a PC filter when the link was texted to me. It only takes $5 to open an account at Navy Federal, i.e. low cost. At this juncture, I am wondering if all the benefits of being a Navy Federal Credit Union member that my brother espoused is really worth the effort. After the Navy Federal counter representative searched on my name and she could not find me in the system, she searched on my phone number and she could not find me in the system, and she finally found me by searching on our address. I asked why she was not able to find me with the previous searches. She said oh that just happens sometimes. I find Navy Federal Credit Union's mission ironic, "Our Members are the Mission." This may be the one and only transaction I do with Navy Federal. I do not currently see Navy Federal's value commiserate with the effort to do business.

Said it would be there later so if we wanted to come in, on our way I called KIM and her words were"it should be here any moment" an hour later we got there and we're sat down with MILLY who started our app I had to keep correcting her on numbers and months (ex. We said October she put 8, we said May she put 4) we stopped to say we would like to look at the vehicle before wasting time on the approval process, the vehicle was not there upset of course I asked KIM why she said it was to be there when it wasnt???? They brought the GM who said the transfer takes a couple days, I said then why were we told it'd be there- mind you it's coming from SA 3 hours top, he made excuses trying to justify the fact that we were directly lied too and couldn't apologize just excuse after another. Shortly after we left, my boyfriend got a text(by accident) from CHRIS the original sales rep we were dealing with who texted this: customer is leaving wants to see specific vehicle, will come back for specific vehicle, girl friend tripping acting like a B**** I called him to let him know he just made a big mistake, and then another text was sent offering us 500 off voucher lol NO THANK YOU YOUR DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO SAVE YOUR SELF WAS PATHETIC I wish we wouldn't have left any personal info as I don't feel comfortable with them having it BOOOOOOO

How she even still has a job, or how this place gets customers because of the way they treat the people that pay their bills, is astounding. Customer service aside, the car we got came barely working. Brakes were going out, the driver side window won't roll down, and the day after we got it, we were broken down in the parking lot of somewhere because the car wouldn't start. They've made promises to fix what is broken on the car, but haven't done anything besides make it run. Long story short, I would not suggest coming here.

The delivery guy was courteous and professional. All done in a matter of minutes. Carvana, company-wise, seems well run. Website design, online navigation, purchase process, loan processing, and home delivery went off without a hitch. I was skeptical of making a vehicle purchase solely online. That is a big financial commitment. Plus, being a used vehicle, I typically want to see first-hand that everything is as expected. Lastly, I enjoy grinding down car salesmen for every dollar and add-on :) That said, Carvana has the best quality (and quantity) photos I've seen, and an abundance of vehicle information. Their 3D interior/exterior photos put you in the driver's seat. So, I was not lacking for vehicle details. They called out some flaws (using that word lightly), such as driver's seat decolorization, that I do not see at all. That gives me the impression that they are very conservative with their assessments, which is good. As for price, although I was not happy about a nearly $2000 shipping charge, overall, the final bill was comparable to dealerships countrywide, and better than Kelley Blue Book (or similar). Anyhow, the shipping fee was typical for out-of-state dealerships too (assuming they were willing to ship, many do not because they can sell locally and/or do not want to deal with liability). Overall, I recommend and would buy from them again.

That was covered, but I still had to waste my time scheduling and meeting the repair person. A few days after pickup, I discover the driver's side back seat inside door latch doesn't work. If you are in the backseat, you can't get out. Under warranty, but still another waste of time for me. Today the electrical system is belly up and it won't start and I'm waiting on a tow truck. I've literally had this vehicle about two weeks. They did not check ANYTHING other than 'oh this 2023 still looks new stick it on the website'. Everything is on you and their return policy for you to play whack a mole and find all the things they didn't look for is only 7 days. STAY AWAY. UPDATE 8/11/2026 Carvana's contracted tow truck service told me he had all my info to give the Nissan service center. Instead he dumped my car at the dealership and told them I was on my way to fill out everything. I found out by calling this morning for a status check -- the tow truck guy didn't even give them my name or number. Carvana's response to getting a bad review is to have a bot tell me to call them and do more leg work and explaining - the definition of a policy of exhausting people by stonewalling and putting all the work on them. AGAIN STAY AWAY.

I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. Thank you, Isaac, Angela, and Stephanie!
