I was recently invited to a small after hours comedy night at this coffee shop in Torrance! It's a little hidden, in a busy shopping center with plenty of parking. There's indoor and outdoor seating. They have a bohemian vibe that I thought was a great touch! I've never been to Aventurero Coffee before and didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised the coffee shop was open for the comedy night. The full menu seemed to be available. They had coffees, lattes, teas and other pre made drinks for grabs. They had a few baked pastries that were perfect for the show. Looking forward to the next visit!

First time here and wanted to check them out. There was plenty of parking but I did go on a Friday afternoon. The coffee shop was busy but I was in and out in about 10min. I got an iced aventurero latte with cold foam and it was delicious! I do wish they had more of their syrups homemade. I also got the jalapeño cheese bagel and it was really good! I wish they added a little more cream cheese as some sections were just toasted bagel. Overall decently priced and great coffee shop to support!

This place is located right on the corner of western and palos verdes dr in a plaza with plenty of parking. I'm searching for Biscoff/cookie butter lattes in the area and this place popped up so I gave it a try. Unfortunately, I wish I could say better things about this place but as soon as I got this drink, my stomach started hurting. I ordered their Biscoff/cookie butter latte which was more like milk could barely taste any cookie butter or the coffee don't get me wrong. The inside is nice and cozy with a restroom and nice space to study or chill but because this drink was so bad I wouldn't go back

Hidden Gem in Harbor City Aventurero Coffee is officially one of my favorite South Bay spots. It's tucked into a shopping plaza with easy parking. You can post up inside to work or hang on the front patio -- and they even have dog treats out there, which is such a thoughtful touch. Inside feels warm and intentional. They have a guest book where customers can leave notes (love that), plus authentic Mexican pottery and books on the shelves that give the space real character. Now the insider move: order the Aventurero Latte. It's not on the physical menu. It's an iced café de olla blended with milk and cinnamon -- smooth, balanced, lightly sweet, and insanely refreshing. If you love café de olla but want it creamy and chilled, this is it. I also grabbed the Everything Bagel with ham and cheese. Simple, satisfying, done right. I've been three times now and even brought my sister -- she loved it. The music is chill and low enough that you can actually work and focus. Casey, the owner, is genuinely kind and welcoming. You can feel when a place reflects its owner's energy, and this one does. Five stars. I'll definitely be back.

Excellent coffee shop! We had this two days in a row and were left impressed with the pastries and coffee offerings. We had morning walks to Aventurero for cafe de Ola and horchata lattes over the weekend. Welcoming ambience and a cute workspace in the back. Would love to return to try the matcha.

What a great spot to do some work/study and get a great cup coffee! The staff are extremely sweet and helpful. Make sure to grab a delicious cup of coffee when you're in the area!

I stopped by this little coffee shop on my way to a meeting with literally just a few minutes to spare and needed something very quick to eat. The young man who was the cashier was so sweet just had the biggest smile on his face. He really helped me pick out one of the most delicious pastries I've ever had! It was a danish that had feta cheese and spinach inside and it really hit the spot! If you're in the area come by for a little treat!

We found Aventurero Coffee through a basic search for decent coffee in the area and they were close. The experience and the beverages ended up being so good that we went back three more times that week! Yes, we tried another spot or two, but this spot was so good that we kept coming back, bringing our hosts with us as well. Coffee is flavorful with a good menu of options. The baristas were super friendly and happy to help. The space is far more interesting than most with a really intriguing multi-national design, multiple little seating areas, tile roofing inside giving the feeling of being on a quaint street, and a community bulletin board for local services. It feels bigger than it is. Definitely worth a try!

Service was fast and quality of coffee was great. Workers were so nice and the place was cozy. There's WiFi but I didn't see outlets. It's a good spot to hang around fs. You could tell there's a lot of regulars here

A cafe with culture you'll have to see it for yourself, definitely sets itself apart from other cafes. Should have taken more pictures but I'll definitely be back. Tried a new place very hidden but definitely worth trying. I had Their matcha latte unsweetened. However I asked if they had stevia( they did) and she offered to mix them in for me. She asked how many packets I wanted too and if the stevia they had was ok( AMAZING service , thank you ) super friendly staff. Vegan options available. Relaxing lighting; artistic tables, good seating.

My personal favorites are their iced dirty horchata, hot lavender matcha latte, and cinnamon chai croissant. There's usually a tiny chalk board displaying seasonal drinks by the register. So take this as a sign to try their experimental bevs that aren't on the traditional menu if you get a chance! The vibe of the shop gives minimalist - nothing flashy about this place, but it's clean and you can even purchase merch from there too. One major con: small, cramped parking lot. For this reason, I'm usually in for a quick pick me up and out.

It had just a subtle hint of sweetness, and the slightly chilled cream was incredibly refreshing. The staff were so pleasant and patient with me, too. I was in Lomita and was looking for a place to grab coffee and pastries. While browsing Yelp, I was…read moresurprised to find out there was a Cream Pan nearby. I've always wanted to try their Orange County location but just never got around to it, so I was excited to finally give them a try. I walked in expecting it to be self-serve like 85 Degrees Bakery, but it's actually set up more like a donut shop or Porto's, where most of the pastries are displayed in a case and you tell the staff what you'd like. They do have a refrigerated self-serve section with sandwiches and onigiri, as well as a table with loaves of bread and buns. The ordering process caught me off guard because I usually like taking my time looking through all the pastries at bakeries. Since everything was behind the counter, I felt a little rushed with people waiting behind me. They have so many options that it can be a bit overwhelming. I also had to stop myself from ordering too much since I'm trying to cut back on carbs. Here's what I ordered: Hot Dog Bun - 4/5: Tasty with a soft, fluffy bun. I just wish it had a little more of that cheesy crust on top. Ham and Cheese Croissant - 3/5: My boyfriend ordered this and thought it was just okay. It was a little small for the price. Strawberry Cream Croissant - 5/5: They're known for this, and now I understand why. The pastry was light and flaky, the strawberries were sweet, and the custard was rich without being overly sweet. Spam Roll Onigiri - 4/5: I loved the egg, and it was really flavorful. It was served a bit cold, though. I think it would taste even better if it were kept under a heat lamp. Raisin Bun - 5/5: So soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of raisins. It was also a great value--six buns for only $4.20. Hot Vanilla Latte - 4/5: Strong with just a light sweetness. It was really good, but I think it could have been a little creamier. The prices were reasonable. I spent about $26 for everything, which I thought was a great deal. Customer service was excellent. Even though there was a line behind me, the staff never made me feel rushed while I decided what I wanted. The barista was especially friendly and even checked in afterward to ask if I liked my latte. If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely come again.

Sidecar might change your mind about cake donuts…read more I'm usually a raised-donut person, but these are different. Fresh, they eat more like a pastry--super moist, rich without being heavy, and none of that dry crumble. Chocolate (Valrhona) is the one--deep, smooth, perfectly tender.
