What a cozy little Thai restaurant we stumbled upon and such warm and friendly service. Loved the unique, cutting board, beautiful menus. The boyfriend got the Tom Kha, and it was such a good choice, and so flavorful. I went outside of my comfort zone and ordered the white curry, which said was roasted cauliflower, but it seemed more steamed, but it went well with the potatoes. Love the crunch of the cashews. Would I order it again, most likely no, but I'll order another curry that has a more pronounced curry flavor that the white curry lacked. Made me a bit sad, but it was still delicious with rice. I've been coming to this place for a few years now to get the tofu spring rolls and I would recommend it to everyone but recently I've ordered twice already and they changed a lot of things that makes me not want to order here again we used to get six piece of spring roll and now you only get 3 for the same price. The tofu isn't that great anymore, it used to be crispy and now it's soggy. They even changed the rice paper; it used to hold well and now it's so thin it's come apart right away. Every single one was either already falling apart or eventually fell apart. Yet the price is the same? This used to be my go to spot and now I'm not coming back. This place is great for vegetarian and vegan people because, in addition to the tofu, they have vegan chicken and vegan beef options. The Kho soi was alright too sweet for my taste. While we ordered everything as medium spicy and asked for no green chilis because I am allergic, the cashew nut dish was very red when it arrived and someone in our party found a green chili in the dish, so I did not eat that dish at all. The garlic noodles were really nice and different from other noodles you typically have at Thai places. Overall this is a decent place to have some cozy Thai food if you're in the area! read more

My biggest surprise happened when stepping in the restaurant. From the outside it does not look much of a promising storefront, but inside is where it was bumpin! The lure of the restaurant is found within. From the lighting, decor, and vibe to the friendly service and food... overall this place was great! I ordered the papaya salad, pad kee maw with sliced chicken, and the tom yum with shrimp. All three dishes exceeded my expectation. This is more than just another Thai restaurant. The actual building itself is definitely not too pretty but once you step inside it's a lot more updated and the place is clean. The service was very attentive and the two woman working were very nice. I ordered the pad Thai, yellow tofu curry, chicken satay, and two Thai tea bobas for about 50$. The yellow curry tofu was definitely my favorite with a nice blend of spices and coconut it was super flavorful and a perfect addition to the steamed rice. The Pad Thai noodle was a little too chewy for my taste but other then that the portion size was big and the dish was tasty. The chicken satay was well cooked and paired well with their peanut sauce. They also have a good portion. The Thai tea itself was good but not too many tapioca pearls. Overall I would say the food was really good, the price was a bit more expensive then expected but due to the portion sizes I think it was fair. Okay the food ... she enjoyed the crying tiger - and I enjoyed the tofu yellow curry and the tofu spring rolls. Also we ate the tofu veggie soup and both enjoyed a thai iced tea. I was in the area picking up my son's boots around the corner and decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews. These reviews must be written by family and friends because there is no way this place achieved what they say. My first clue should have been the B rating on the window but I decided to go for it since I was far from home and thought they must have improved their deficiencies pending a secondary rating. The hostess, Sophia, clueless. Sucking on a dum dump lollipop as she greets customers is not only unprofessional but unhygienic. I thought you had to take a food handling course in order to work at a restaurant? Apparently that isn't enforced here...hence the B rating. After giving me the menu Sophia proceeds to sit down in the back table and continue to suck on her dum dum and read a book. Nice. I had to call her over to give her my order. She then tries to memorize what I am asking her for...chicken fried rice, beef broccoli, 3 piece egg rolls, and a sparkling lemonade. She repeats the order...chicken fried rice, beef broccoli, spring rolls, and a lemonade. I correct her...egg rolls and a sparkling lemonade. She giggles and says OH YEAH. I waited more than 50 minutes. Never got my lemonade and had to ask for my check. Watched her struggle trying to work the register for 10 minutes too. The one waitress tells her to fill the patrons water glasses and she can't bring straws with her because with every pour she walks back to get a straw. It's painful to watch. To the couple sitting in front of me. Hope you made your movie time because at that pace you would arrive at closing credits. The food: flavorless and old. Thai food is supposed to be bursting with flavors. This was bland. Look at my posted pictures too. Notice the black mold and bruised broccoli tips? See the burnt egg rolls? Which by the way are just fried spring rolls filled with glass noodles and no meat. Almost $45 for food that ended up in the trash. At least I wasn't charged for the lemonade I never got. Improve your establishment. I'll never be back but for customers who might. And remember, your hostess is the face of your restaurant.
