My husband and I cannot recommend Thollot enough! (Annie Ligrani in particular has been amazing, but everyone on the staff there is out of this world fantastic.) My husband had my engagement ring made custom at Thollot. He had an heirloom diamond from his grandparents that was in a dated setting, and he wanted to create something updated and special for me. I have going to Thollot Jewelers almost since they opened. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I've learned a lot about stones and jewelry during discussions with Troy and Glenn. I have purchased many things, had repairs done and had custom jewelry designed and made there. My favorite piece is a memorial pendant for my Dad that Glenn designed. When my now-husband (George) and I started talking about engagement, I was worried about the ring thing, because I'm picky, and, let's face it, if I'm going to wear this ring on my finer for the rest of my life, it has to be perfect! Absolutely the most amazing jewelers around. Being new to the area, I was so skeptical of taking my wedding ring to anyone BUT Thollot has exceeded all my expectations. I have been there multiple times since my first experiance and they continue to amaze me. Today I went in to pick up a ring I had resized and asked them to clean my other rings while I was there... 10 minutes later I received my clean shiny rings which were polished in addition to cleaned as the jeweler was not happy with how it cleaned in just the original cleaner. Don't think of Thollot just for your Diamond and Fine Gem needs, think of them when you need ANY kind of jewelry. Years ago I was gifted a pair of costume jewelry silver colored hoops. I loved them so much that the silver was wearing off and you could see the ugly cheap metal under the coating. I searched for another pair and couldn't find any. Then I thought of Troy and his team when I saw his "Make It or Melt It" posts on Facebook. I took my costume jewelry hoops to Thollot. Troy took one look at them and told me he could re-create them in sterling silver that would last me a lifetime. This place is really a class act! My dear friend has a very unique, vintage bracelet that she inherited from her late mother and cherishes above all else and so needless to say we both wer devastated when it broke and needed to be soldered. I took it to have it repaired as a surprise for my friend but usual jeweler was unable to make the repair and referred me to Thollot. The store is beautiful, the staff is lovely to work with and they really know their stuff. They assured me the bracelet would be well cared for after I explained its importance and a day early from the promised date (3 days after drop off), the bracelet was repaired and you could not even see where the damage was. They also cleaned it and checked the structural integrity of the stones and other joints all for $30! Five star quality repair at a 5 star jewelry store for only $30? Absolutely amazing! Even I as the customer would have valued such a difficult and perfectly done jewelry repair at much more! Last but certainly not least, they followed it up promptly with a beautiful, hand written thank you card mailed to my home!!! With jewelry being such an expensive investment and one of the most personal items a person owns, risks should not be taken. We can not express how wonderful all of our experiences have been with this company. My lovely wife lost her wedding band 15 years ago. The folks at Thollot are truly amazing. I have a uniquely shaped vintage engagement ring and wanted to get a custom-made wedding band to go with it. We worked with Annie, who was so sweet and wonderful I have half a mind to invite her to the wedding! They allowed us to view and approve the wax casting prior to pouring the metal. It fit up against my ring perfectly, but there were no details on the wax which had me a little concerned. Annie explained that the man who makes their custom rings will hand carve the metal to get the small filigree details that I wanted to reflect what was in my engagement ring. She said, "I know it's a little scary, but trust me, it will be beautiful." I'm so glad I listened to her. It's absolutely perfect. I was looking for a diamond band to compliment my existing ring. When we went into the store today there was one older woman being helped by another male employee. We waited at counter for like 7-10 minutes. A couple of employees walked out and about the store and during that whole time we were not even acknowledged once. A hello we will be right with you would have been nice. I saw at least 3 employees in the store at that time. We were the only ones in the store other than the elderly lady I felt completely invisible. I don't even know where to start with this place. From the very first visit, to finally seeing my engagement ring in the little white box, everything was PERFECT! We had the pleasure of working with Jessie throughout our entire process and would not have it any other way. My fiance and I are almost so simple in taste that we knew we wouldn't walk into a place and find what we want. We are also very far from traditional so we decided to design our engagement rings together. We're going to live with it for the rest of our lives so might as well love it right?First day we walked in aimlessly and thankfully got paired with Jessie. Looked at styles in store as well as styles we liked on Pinterest and probably all within an hour, all of the ideas we had were placed into a rough sketch and done. Sure enough we had CAD's after a week, upped our diamond size, made some design tweaks, and boom rings were done within a month. My husband created a custom engagement ring with a jeweler in Missouri (where we used to live) and enrolled it in the Preferred Jeweler network so that we would be able to have check-ups on my ring every 6 months. Management changed at our former jeweler that left us less than satisfied with the care my ring was getting. I was convinced that my ring was crooked in the setting and it was difficult to keep clean the way the setting was designed. However, I was reassured by the former jeweler that it was fine and I just came to accept the way my ring was because I really didn't know any better. When we moved to Colorado one of the diamonds in my ring got chipped so I took the ring into Thollot Jewelers to fix it because they are also part of the Preferred Jewelers network. That was when I met Joy and Troy Thollot, and finally got the answers I needed with my ring. Joy was extremely knowledgeable about custom designs and quickly discovered that the setting I had wasn't practical and my prongs were so weak that I could have lost my center stone at any time. Joy not only came up with a new design that completely honored my husband's original drawings, but it was functional as well. AND, she even worked with my former jeweler to pay for the new design. The entire process was completely professional and smooth. If you are looking to do a custom design, this is absolutely the place I would go to achieve the design of your dreams. Other jewelers might lead you astray or not be honest with you about the functionality of the design you choose, but Joy was so honest and really worked hard with me to come up with a setting that worked for me and also stayed true to my husband's vision for my ring. Not only were Joy and Troy so amazing, but their staff was very knowledgable and welcoming as well. I can't believe that I was lucky enough to stumble upon this jeweler just because I happened to get a chip in one of my diamonds! Wow! I cannot thank Thollot enough for creating the perfect engagement ring! My fiancé and I designed the ring together and Joy was with us every step of the way. We made a joke that we would pitch a tent in their store because we were there at least a few times a week every week for about a month. Glen did a wonderful job adding sizing beads to my platinum and diamond ring. I couldn't be happier. Only drawback was the saleswoman that helped me when I picked the ring up. I am in my 60's, with white hair, and she came across to me as condescending. She kept calling me "dear" (older ladies really HATE that!!!) I asked her if she could clean my Tennis Bracelet while I was there and she actually said, "you need to be careful with this because it's real gold."
