My family has been using Thomas Heating & AC for just over a year. We have used other companies before due to whomever our home warranty company sent out. But ever since using These wonderful people...we will never use anyone else. We will always request Thomas Heating & AC with our home warranty as well. Robert is so respectful and honest. He has come out to our house more than once in a random "it's hot in here!" phone call. He is more concerned with families being comfortable and cool in their homes in this hot Texas heat. After constantly being pushed to buy a new unit every single time other companies came out...and Robert said "No, lets see what is wrong with this and try to fix it for less first. If it doesn't work I will discount the new unit". He has worked tirelessly to make sure our unit has kept us cool without gouging us for more money. He is fair in pricing. Honest and trustworthy. He is also a very humble Christian family man. He runs this business with his wife. (I have also met her! She is a very sweet & lovely lady!) I would definitely recommend them to EVERYONE. When has your AC guy ever come to your home and offered to help put a microwave up? Mine did! Only a 1 star because 0 Stars is not available, if your home warranty refers him ask for another company. Sounds like a knowledgeable technician but horrible service. After getting frustrated he left my home with the AC still not working. My house was 88 and had to call another company. After speaking with my home warranty, this company got paid for services they did not complete. read more

One again in less then a year one almost fire after the insurance was installed and almost FIRE now it stops working again. Over 13000 in work don't and all complications. one thing after the other. And NO he's not allowed back on my place. Thinking civil court best way to fix this. I don't know. read more

I requested A/C service from Cinch Home warranty company. They referred me to a local AC business and the AC man called and said his truck had broken down. Chinch then assigned a company from Houston, I live in San Antonio. I was excited because the man said he would come to my home after he finished a job. This was Saturday and I was impressed that someone from Houston would come to SA on a Saturday night. He did not show, with no phone call about when he could come. Chinch then assigned Thomas AC, this was now Sunday midday, I called and talked to Robert, he understood our problem and said he would come check it out. He did come and diagnosed the problem, got us going. Lasted two days, called Robert and he came right away yada yada yada. Bottom line is that Robert and his wife Dawn were very helpful in dealing with Chinch. I would highly recommend Thomas Heating and Air. Because of how Robert worked with Cinch, he saved us a good deal of money. The negative reviews on here, do not describe the Robert that helped us solve our A/C problem. Robert was fantastic! - I submitted a A/C Service Repair request through my home warranty company, Cinch Home Services, and they linked me up with a company called Sears that could not come fix my A/C for 10 days. It's over 95 degrees every day where I live right now and not having an A/C for 33% of the month was unacceptable. So, I reached out to the home warranty company and I said I needed a different provider who could come sooner because I have small children. Pretty quickly I recieved a message that Thomas Heating and Air Conditioning was assigned to my case and they would reach out in 24 hours. They called me the next morning and told me a technician would be there between 12-2pm that day. Robert showed up at 1pm, even called me before he was going to be there. Checked for a few obvious issues, let me observe so that I could learn what quick checks he looks for, and then found the issue to be the fan capacitor on one of my units. He found the part in his truck, fixed the issue, but waited a minute or two to make sure everything was working and he realized that the fan was spinning the wrong direction. He was able to fix that by switching a wiring job that the previous A/C provider did incorrectly and now our A/C is working as it should, and will likely work 10 times better now that the fan is spinning in the right direction. Time will tell if the service holds up, but from today's perpective, Robert was AMAZING. No complaints, he even fixed the issue that the other A/C company messed up over a year ago and likely cost me a lot of money in the past 12 months. I will update this review if something bad happens, but likely, everything will be great! read more

Worst service ever. Robert said he would fix the problem for free. I found out the part was under warranty and he changed his mind and said i would have to pay him a core fee. I agreed to pay the core fee and asked him to explain what it was. His response was "I'm not in the A/C business and i wouldn't understand plus he doesn't have time to explain things." I asked for my part back and he said he wasn't giving it back so i could have someone else fix it. I went to his house with the money asking for my part and he called the cops (I'm 5'4 and he's over 6 feet) saying he wanted a restraining order. The cops asked why he wouldn't give the part back to resolve the issue and he said he can't and i need to figure it out. The cops told me i need to file a theft of service report to take further action. Please don't waste your money on this business. Robert was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. read more
