If you like luxury pens, they have a nice selection of Monte Blanc writing instruments ( aka pens) including the JFK and Marilyn Monroe editions. Service was exceptional as they greet you the second you enter the store and were willing to explain the history behind their exquisite collection of fine time pieces. I have a watch that needed some attention as it needed "guts" needed a tuned up. A quick google search showed me a few authorized dealers and repair centers on the west side of Houston. Thomas Markle Jewelers was at the top of the google list and near my office. I'd never had dealings with TMJ, but knew them to be a top notch jeweler and an authorized dealer if my watch. I went in and met with Victoria, handled the watches. We visited about the service to be performed and she told the steps - send to repair center, they would inspect and give me a price to do the work, if approved, do the work and return in 4-8 weeks. I felt comfortable with the plan and off the watch went. About 3 days later, Victoria called back and gave me the repair cost and I approved the repair. In less than 4 weeks, Victoria called and said my watch was ready. I swung by and picked it up. I was so proud. While in the store, I did some walking around and saw some amazingly beautiful pieces of jewelry. They will be a place I go when wanting to acquire a nice piece of jewelry. I wanted to get a piece of custom jewelry for my mom for Christmas this year. I texted with a sales associate and ended up ordering in person from her. Ultimately we needed the piece to be overnighted from the designer to arrive before we left town for the holidays. 3 days after it was supposed to arrive I hadn't heard back from my sales associate and ended up going into the store to see what happened. My sales person was busy making another sale so I ended up working with the store manager (who was absolutely wonderful). I took a heirloom to have it serviced and in the process it got "lost". I had to follow up with them for 1 month before I got a call from someone from the Memorial location to inform me about the "terrible loss". I had waited 22 years to take my deceased mother's watch to pass it along to her granddaughter and this is the result. In mid January 2021 I visited Thomas Markle Jewelers to look for a Rolex. I knew what I wanted, but I was hoping to try on a few to confirm the 41mm case size worked well on my wrist. I also wanted to reassure myself that the Datejust options I wanted looked good in person. This was the first Rolex I've ever shopped for so I was a little unsure what to expect from the experience. I came here to get my watch serviced, I was told and we all agreed upon the watch going to the official service center in Dallas - this store decided to take the watch to their own 3rd party technician for service, without my knowledge and without my approval and then proceeded to lie about it after I received and paid for this "service." Only when I spoke with the manager of the store did the truth come out that the watch went elsewhere than where was promised - and only after about 3 months did he realized that I was lied to about all of this fiasco. The salesperson she never showed her face again any time I went to the store and I've never heard from her again. The only reason I give this place 1 star is because they finally decided to refund me a month after I filed a dispute. The entire process from first stepping foot into the store took about 3 months + I still don't know what was replaced or serviced with my watch as I've never received any official paperwork or invoice of what exactly they did with it... I personally had to take my watch to the Dallas service center so they can open it up and recheck everything to make sure it's still within warranty genuine parts and specs, etc... They still do not know if anything was replaced as the Thomas Markle says - just that everything is there - who knows... I sure as heck don't therefore, will never step foot into this particular jeweler again. This is just appalling sorry. read more

I was very disappointed with the customer service, level of professionalism and expertise I experienced at Thomas Markle. I went in for a simple battery replacement on my Seiko. Admittedly, I was never going to one of their high priority customers. However, I expected more openness and I certainly didn't expect to walk out with a damaged watch. During the battery replacement, they forgot to replace the gaskets in the watch so that when I showered with it later that day, it took in water and stopped working. This was a 100m water resistant watch which I'd never had issues with before. I can understand mistakes happen, but it was their response (or non-response) to their mistake which disappointed me the most. No response when I called to inform them of the leakage, no offer to look at the watch or even open it back up to let it dry, and absolutely no attempt to even try to make anything right. I took it to another Seiko approved repair shop to attempt to have it fixed, and they noted the lack of gasket replacement and wrote a note to detail the errors. Unfortunately, even thought they managed to get it running again for a while, it ended up stopping again. Thomas Markle's associates asked me to come in so I could speak to the manager, insisting he would be in the next day at 10am. He wasn't. And they never called to tell me he wouldn't be. Every associate I spoke to had a different story: "we always change gaskets", "we can't guarantee the watch will be water proof after repair" (then why don't you advise us of this or put a notice anywhere to warn customers?), "we know every Seiko approved shop in Houston and our technician is the best" etc. In the end, they compensated neither the cost of the now broken watch, nor the cost of the battery change itself. I wasted several trips there and the best I got was "yeah... sorry, there isn't anything we can do". I'll know to stick to my local watch repair shops in the future... (The Little Watch Shop on Shephard has always been my go to before this, and will be again since). read more

Thomas Markle Jewelers is my favorite Jeweler in town. It feels like home. The staffs are super friendly and knowledgeable. My superb Sales associate Sue, she is awesome. We talked about everything, she is not just my SA, but she is also my friend. They take COVID very seriously. Staffs always have their masks on. They also have masks to provide if the customer does not have one. Their attention to details makes you know they are real professional in customer service. When a lady brought me a coke with a straw, she wrapped the strew with a napkin to avoid contact. Also, they separate their pens into two pins, one is sensitized and one is used. I personally do not like using someone's pen to sign credit card during Pandemic, but knowing they are sensitized makes me feel way comfortable. read more

I am not an easy person to please, or rather - I am a demanding customer. I switched between several designs and am not one to be rushed, and Rebecca had no problem moving at my pace.
