Haven't been here in more than a decade. I like their adobo fried rice omelette! They cook the egg perfect, it's not over cooked/hard. The lechon was okay but real fatty and the onions and tomatoes were not too fresh, but the vinegar sauce made up for it. If you're craving Filipino food this place will do. I want to try their pancakes one day I heard they were good!

Juliez Buffet @$13 / adult. Not bad.

My mom would say that Juliez is her dining room since she wasn't cooking that day. Julie'z is a paborite In Kapolei. During the holidays, you have to call days in advance because they run out of pancit!! Couple weeks ago, on a Saturday evening, I called to order a plate of pancit and pork guisantes, 5:30 pm, but they were sold out. That's how beloved Juliez is to the Kapolei community. And the nice thing, they open up early for breakfast, at 7 am. When we have family coming in first thing in the morning, we having breakfast at Juliez not the other local restaurant by the police station. What's not to love? One of our other favorites is shrimp sarciado. It's like a shrimp omelette with whole shrimp, head and shell on, tomatoes, onions, garlic and eggs. Without the shrimp shell on, this dish would not be the same as all the juices sit in the shell. Yup, I've seen locals and tourists visit Juliez for breakfast and order the pancakes. It's nice to see when the tourists try something different and go into beast mode. As far as the interior, not fancy at all but that's ok. Individuals and families enjoy having a meal here. Dishes can be ordered family style or plate lunch style with two or three choice. And everything is reasonably priced. Staff there, although they may not know our names but they know our faces. All are very pleasant. Two things that I wish they had on the menu, tortang talong (eggplant omelette) and a family pack. However, the eggplant omelette maybe an off menu item like the arroz caldo (chicken porridge). I'll ask next time I'm there.

Filipino food on your radar? Try Julie'Z. So many things looked good on the menu so I ordered a 3 choice combo plate: lechón & fried rice for an additional charge, chicken adobo and a to die for pancit! The lechón skin was perfection. Crispy, sink your teeth into the pieces, heaven. I needed to ask for a take out box- portions were generous and price was reasonable. Hubs had lechón and scramble eggs breakfast. He ate the whole thing. Very local, home as you are. Noticed lots of take out orders. Customers with surfboards must be going to enjoy their grinds down he beach. Would I come back? Most definitely.

Killer Pancakes at a Filipino Restaurant in Kapolei? Well I guess if someone on this page asked me if I tried it I guess I had to make a trek out to Kapolei at Julie's Filipino Restaurant and see what the hype is all about I had to order the Short Stack ($11.50) and the Lechilog which is Lechon served with Pork Abobo Fried Rice Omelet ($15.50). And after the smoke settled I have to say these Pancakes are the real deal. By the looks of it you can say they look like any other Pancakes but after one bite it was truly magical. The Pancakes were super light and fluffy and couldn't stop eating it. I'm glad it came out before my Lechilog so I could dig into it right away. Pro tip, don't let these Pancakes just sit idle on your plate it has to be eaten right away just like eating a Malasada. The only other Pancake that I had that was better than this was at the Four Season's in Wailea Maui. To be frankly honest even if you're not a big fan of Filipino Food I would just come here for the Pancakes As for the Lechilog it was ok. Nothing that would make me want to order it again. The draw here to me is the Pancakes and I would once again make that trek out to Kapolei to get my Pancake Craving. Julie'z is definitely an icon here in Kapolei as it was crazy packed and was lucky to snag a table for one. Friendly Service cool atmosphere. Love to see a family run Restaurant do so good Mahalo Kasla Boun for the recommendation. I just had to go after your comment

Amazing Filipino grinds! My family loves to go here for any time of the day. When you enter the restaurant the staff makes you feel like home. So helpful with ordering and their recommendations if you don't quite know what to eat. My ohana's go tos are: Lechon Kawali- juicy pork, crispy deep fried skin. The onions and tomatoes bring the flavors together. You need to dip it in the sauce! My personal favorite- dinuguan. It's indescribable. Savory soft pork meat. Fried rice- so good. Just get the upgrade! Overall, amazing place! Love the staff and food. They do an amazing job to accommodate bigger parties as well!

Quick service and food tasted good. How I miss squid adobo. And I love their fried banana eggrolls !! Visited Hawaii and decided to stay at Kapolei to check out places outside Honolulu or Waikiki and be part of the locals. I'm glad we did !! This is a casual setting, you can wear whatever you want and so far I didn't have problems with parking as we went there on a weekday.

I came to Kapolei early before my shift so I decided to give myself a tour to some of the hidden gems of Kapolei and I found a local Filipino restaurant when looking for my lunch outlet and I gotta say, the adobo omelette and short stacks hit it! I'll come back again! Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Everything was great as usual.. only thing, why was there no skin on a chicken adobo that's like the main part?? lol

5/9/25 First time eating at this establishment. Cozy restaurant. A bit dated furniture and decor. I read a Yelp review recommending the pancakes here. I was ono for pancakes after a fourteen hour fast. I ordered a short stack of pancakes with a side of bacon. My hubby ordered a combination plate lunch of Lechon Kawali (chopped crispy pork with onions and tomatoes) and Gisantes (pork with tomato sauce and green peas). I also ordered the bibingka and suman (sp?) to go. The pancakes were fluffy and soft. I enjoyed the pancakes. It came with a large container of margarine or butter. 3/5 stars. Basic no frills syrup was in a squeeze bottle on the table. 2/5 stars. No whipped cream available here. The side of bacon was cooked in ? I could taste something other than bacon in the oil. Otherwise, it was crispy and oily. 2.5/5 stars My hubby's Lechon Kawali was a bit on the tough side. The pork skin was very chewy and hard. The Gisantes was okay. 3/5 stars Service was great here. Personable and efficient service. Timely took our order and promptly refilled water and checked on us several times. 5/5 stars. Ambiance: 3/5 stars (see pictures). Bathroom available inside the restaurant.

Came here for the first time. We ordered the adobo fried rice w/ Lechon Kawali, dinaguan and pinakbit, Lechon Kawali and Pansit, and a side order of 1 pancake. Everything tasted pretty good. The dinaguan wasn't as good as it looked. The Adobo rice was pretty flavorful with the Lechon. The pansit noodles were ok as well. The pancake was very flavorful and had a nice crust. Staff are fast and friendly. Lots of parking and lots of tables to dine on.

First, the actual plates aren't close to the portions pictured in prior reviews. We ordered the Smoked Chicken which was more like "Skimpy" Chicken soaked in vinegar. The Pork Adobo was drenched with "sweet/sour sauce" which left a lasting aftertaste in your mouth. The Pork Ribs were actually the closest to previous pictured plates - tasted like "salt and vinegar" instead of "salt and pepper" - still skimpy (little meat covering huge bone inside)! Their "garlic noodles" had so much garlic that I'm sure that Vampires and Draculas will stay away from me for a week. The rice tasted like "day-old refrigerated" rice which was microwaved. I becomes solid if not eaten immediately. So shame. I can't imagine the other selections are any better so I'll just refrain from returning again. I would not eat this food even if you gave it to me for free. I believe you'll get a bigger bang for your buck by using the BOGO coupon at Loco Moco Kapolei located in the same mall.

I got the Snow Crab Legs Combo with the Signature Kickin Sauce and medium heat. I ordered takeout, and everything was still hot and ready to eat when I got home. The combo came with a good amount of snow crab legs, shrimp, mussels, and clams. It's advertised as feeding 1-2 people, and I'd say that's pretty accurate. There was definitely enough to share between two hungry people, although I do wish they gave more potatoes. There were only two small potatoes, which felt a little skimpy compared to the rest of the seafood. The flavor was really good, especially for my first seafood boil. The medium spice level was just the right amount of heat for me. I think I can handle spice better than some so it was perfect for me.

So if you prefer traditional ways, this may not be for you and if planning to drink, simply keep with the simplier generic drinks, wine or beer. If you prefer to try different ways and flavors, then you will love this. Service was great and our server was attentive at all times. Thank you. Ambiance was good but outdoor seating may be a bit of a nuance due to flies swarming around you often. The swinging table fan helps but are still annoying plus the tropical heat also didn't help.
