Filipino food on your radar? Try Julie'Z. So many things looked good on the menu so I ordered a 3 choice combo plate: lechón & fried rice for an additional charge, chicken adobo and a to die for pancit! The lechón skin was perfection. Crispy, sink your teeth into the pieces, heaven. I needed to ask for a take out box- portions were generous and price was reasonable. Hubs had lechón and scramble eggs breakfast. He ate the whole thing. Very local, home as you are. Noticed lots of take out orders. Customers with surfboards must be going to enjoy their grinds down he beach. Would I come back? Most definitely.

Killer Pancakes at a Filipino Restaurant in Kapolei? Well I guess if someone on this page asked me if I tried it I guess I had to make a trek out to Kapolei at Julie's Filipino Restaurant and see what the hype is all about I had to order the Short Stack ($11.50) and the Lechilog which is Lechon served with Pork Abobo Fried Rice Omelet ($15.50). And after the smoke settled I have to say these Pancakes are the real deal. By the looks of it you can say they look like any other Pancakes but after one bite it was truly magical. The Pancakes were super light and fluffy and couldn't stop eating it. I'm glad it came out before my Lechilog so I could dig into it right away. Pro tip, don't let these Pancakes just sit idle on your plate it has to be eaten right away just like eating a Malasada. The only other Pancake that I had that was better than this was at the Four Season's in Wailea Maui. To be frankly honest even if you're not a big fan of Filipino Food I would just come here for the Pancakes As for the Lechilog it was ok. Nothing that would make me want to order it again. The draw here to me is the Pancakes and I would once again make that trek out to Kapolei to get my Pancake Craving. Julie'z is definitely an icon here in Kapolei as it was crazy packed and was lucky to snag a table for one. Friendly Service cool atmosphere. Love to see a family run Restaurant do so good Mahalo Kasla Boun for the recommendation. I just had to go after your comment

The service is good! The food was terrible! This was my favorite place, now that i live on the Eastside i have been her for a long time. I was so excited to eat here. I ordered the SariSari and Mongo beans. The pork the is in the food was terrible! For both dishes! So dad that there food isn't good! No wonder they weren't busy! I didn't get the memo! So i am saving you the time and letting you know to find another Filipino restaurant !

Amazing Filipino grinds! My family loves to go here for any time of the day. When you enter the restaurant the staff makes you feel like home. So helpful with ordering and their recommendations if you don't quite know what to eat. My ohana's go tos are: Lechon Kawali- juicy pork, crispy deep fried skin. The onions and tomatoes bring the flavors together. You need to dip it in the sauce! My personal favorite- dinuguan. It's indescribable. Savory soft pork meat. Fried rice- so good. Just get the upgrade! Overall, amazing place! Love the staff and food. They do an amazing job to accommodate bigger parties as well!

Quick service and food tasted good. How I miss squid adobo. And I love their fried banana eggrolls !! Visited Hawaii and decided to stay at Kapolei to check out places outside Honolulu or Waikiki and be part of the locals. I'm glad we did !! This is a casual setting, you can wear whatever you want and so far I didn't have problems with parking as we went there on a weekday.

5/9/25 First time eating at this establishment. Cozy restaurant. A bit dated furniture and decor. I read a Yelp review recommending the pancakes here. I was ono for pancakes after a fourteen hour fast. I ordered a short stack of pancakes with a side of bacon. My hubby ordered a combination plate lunch of Lechon Kawali (chopped crispy pork with onions and tomatoes) and Gisantes (pork with tomato sauce and green peas). I also ordered the bibingka and suman (sp?) to go. The pancakes were fluffy and soft. I enjoyed the pancakes. It came with a large container of margarine or butter. 3/5 stars. Basic no frills syrup was in a squeeze bottle on the table. 2/5 stars. No whipped cream available here. The side of bacon was cooked in ? I could taste something other than bacon in the oil. Otherwise, it was crispy and oily. 2.5/5 stars My hubby's Lechon Kawali was a bit on the tough side. The pork skin was very chewy and hard. The Gisantes was okay. 3/5 stars Service was great here. Personable and efficient service. Timely took our order and promptly refilled water and checked on us several times. 5/5 stars. Ambiance: 3/5 stars (see pictures). Bathroom available inside the restaurant.

Came here for the first time. We ordered the adobo fried rice w/ Lechon Kawali, dinaguan and pinakbit, Lechon Kawali and Pansit, and a side order of 1 pancake. Everything tasted pretty good. The dinaguan wasn't as good as it looked. The Adobo rice was pretty flavorful with the Lechon. The pansit noodles were ok as well. The pancake was very flavorful and had a nice crust. Staff are fast and friendly. Lots of parking and lots of tables to dine on.

Very masarap sari-sari and boneless bangus sinigang with plenty rice!

Another one of my family's favorite restaurants! The food is super flavorful and the staff are always prompt to have our order ready for pick-up. Julie'Z is a longtime business that has plenty of regulars over the years, us included. Check them out for delicious, Filipino food!

A long time favorite Filipino Food Restaurant. Known for their Lechon Kawali and Adobo Rice Omelets. The founders have retired but their family is doing a good job of ensuring that the legacy continues. Small dining room take out and delivery available. We had the Lechilog (Lechon with Adobo Rice Omelette). Best of the best delicious .

Today I took off from work and picked up my sister and brother in law and headed down to westside Kapolei. Originally that's my hood I grew up in the area but now live in town . Much have changed ever since but all I know if you want good Philippino food head down to Julie 'Z . Located in the Kapolei shopping center with Safeway. I ordered their famous Pork Adobo fried rice along with Pork and peas, squid and Lechon Kawali . Also a short stack pancakes. Yes pancakes their pancakes is probably the best pancake I ever had. What makes it delicious it's very buttery and a little crisp on top and the inside it's not too heavy like pancake batter. It's light and fluffy if your in the area need to try their pancakes Support local

That Malasada pancake is so ono! Because balance is key to survival, we always flank the sweet pancakes with an army of savory options - specifically the chicken fried steak, smoked meat, or a Benedict. Guarantee it's a flawless strategy that guarantees you will not need to look at food again until dinner time. I panicked a little when management changed earlier this year but the transition was seamless. They added new goodies but kept the classics exactly the same. Everyone here is fantastic, but Krystal is the undisputed MVP. It does come as a single link, but it's perfectly portioned for an average breakfast and leaves you feeling full and satisfied without being overly heavy. My husband ordered the country fried chicken and really enjoyed it. The portion size on his plate was especially generous. Of course, we had to try the pancake flight--it was delicious and just the right amount. I love having a variety without feeling overwhelmed. One small note: I ordered a regular drip coffee and found the price a bit steep $5, especially since it only includes one refill--so definitely be sure to ask for it to get your money's worth. Overall, this is a spot we'll absolutely keep coming back to!

The LHK burger is satisfying but for $30 is on the high side even if it comes with the side of onion rings. The eggplant a la plancha was really light as it was one eggplant steak with labneh. For $27, I would have thought it would have come with more than one slice. But I guess if you can afford the Four Seasons, this is just a drop in the bucket. But if you're just coming for lunch, it may be sticker shock for that dish. Booth seating available along with 4-top tables throughout the establishment that can be combined for bigger parties. Our server was very kind, and cordial. We opted for the lechon style brussels and spicy garlic noodles (this was a snack before our dinner at another establishment). The brussels were an interesting flavor. I would've liked more flavor coming through the overall seasoning of this dish. I was expecting salty, sweet and vinegary, but it missed the mark for me. As for the spicy garlic noodles, this was flavorful, and very rich/buttery. My friend and I split the egg, while the third person in our party opted against it because she didn't care for runny eggs. Perhaps it's a good thing the third person didn't partake in the egg, because as my friend and I were driving to our next destination, we had to make a pit stop to use the restroom, as it seems that something didn't quite sit well with either of our tummies. The 3rd person who didn't eat the egg was completely fine, so not sure if it was the egg or the richness of the dishes. Overall, I would eat here again, though I would try something else on the menu.

There's plenty of parking. And getting out and actually walking up to the entry, I just felt in awe of the glass exterior. Walking in and seeing all the chairs set up for an event later that evening and seeing that gorgeous view, I was awestruck. My sister swears I've been there before.
