An update to my 2024 review, as they have a new location and expanded menu options. I stopped in…read morelast week for breakfast and for this visit (more visits to come for sure) I had the Prime Rib Brekkie sandwich with a side of fruit. It was was even better than I imagined - one of those meals where after your first bite, you pause and say OMG to yourself. My wife had the Richard's Special. She selected regular cut bacon over thick cut, and also choose the cheesy hashbrowns as the potato option. I don't recall which bread she chose. She said it all tasted great, and had me taste the potatoes, but between the bacon & potatoes, it was on the greasier side (in case you are sensitive to that). I look forward to trying the Salmon Omelette, Beignets, Biscuits & Gravy and stuffed bagel for breakfast. Then several items from the lunch side.

I'm obsessed with the vibes, very whimsical/hippie cute, dark colors with big windows. I went with the avocado toast (not pictured as it was already gone ) and fruit (pictured). I was very excited that the fruit did not contain cantaloupe or honeydew. My friend got the Fargo special (pictured) which was 10/10, had the perfect crispiness on the bread and the taste was great. All in all, I suggest supporting this downtown eatery!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and genuinely welcoming -- the kind of place where you instantly know you're about to have a great experience. We ordered the seared halibut and the wild acres duck breast, and honestly... I'm still thinking about them. The halibut was perfectly cooked -- tender, delicate, and packed with flavor. The duck was incredible -- rich, balanced, and executed with precision. Every bite felt intentional. And the service? Just as impressive. Attentive, friendly, and natural -- not forced, not rushed -- just real hospitality that made the whole experience even better. It's been a long time since I've had food this memorable. This wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. I'll definitely be coming back -- and next time, I'm bringing people with me. Highly recommend.

Hole in the wall places where abeulitas are making the best molé ever with 37 ingredients, Pho with the perfect balance of fish sauce, lime and ginger without too much salt... You get it. When my daughter described this restaurant and cheese shop... formerly a bread and coffee shop, I thought it probably would be good but I was WoWeD. Now I've been there 4-5 times, mostly for dinner with family but also with a friends for lunch. Have always been pleased and proud of and for Fargo. The food has always been good and often exquisite! We usually start with their delicious mocktails and appetizers for the table. Yes, the popovers are wonderful as is the cheeseboard. The menu changes fairly often with some mainstays. The guys in our family often go for the Wagyu steak. Duck and various pasta dishes have also been favorites. I think there's always been a vegetarian option too. I've loved several. The staff is knowledgeable and servers excellent. The atmosphere is unassuming casual and cozy. Save room for desert! They do that well too.
