    Crab Rangoon

I don't know what's with all these reviews, but my family has always gone here from the start (and we know our Chinese food!). It's good, reliable food that's inexpensive and fast! Growing up in Westborough, we've ordered from here for the past 7 years lol since they were first located in the rotary. 4/5 Taste: Good food for Chinese Takeout, don't expect upscale Chinese food here. Food ordered crab rangoon (I LOVE THESE YOU CANT GO WRONG), Singapore noodles, Happy Family, and Eggplant Chicken. 5/5 Efficiency: Ordered takeout because my family was all tired from cooking everyday bc of covid-19. Time ordered was at 6:36. Went a bit early to go pick-up and was honestly surprised it was ready at 7:56 Let's support our small businesses during these unprecedented times!

Orange flavored crispy beef (Take out)

I've only been here twice and both times was just grabbing take out. The place looks pretty decent and clean. The food was quick and only waited 15 mins. The orange flavored tangy beef was ok. It was a too tangy for my tastes and I wish the pieces were smaller and more manageable. They were too large so it was hard to chew and made it seem like there's not that much in the container. The twice cooked pork was pretty good actually so I was glad I got it. There was a good portion and the sauce tasted good.

2.5 Stars Three Gorges III (3G3) is part of a mini chain. Haven't been to the others. The quality is just ok, I stick to the lo mien/chow fun and Cantonese Soups (see the photo I posted). That's the secret here, the noodles and the soup. If you like the standard American Chinese fare they are in the middle ground there, slightly greasy but not overly so. Prices are inexpensive. * Surprisingly authentic Soups for an American Chinese Take Away joint. * Noodle dishes are a good choice here. * Some dishes mimic their more authentic cousins. * If you work in or near the W-boro, they are right off the rotary on rt30.

    Very tasty

I was driving by and thought I would stop and give this place a try I have to say that the food was good however I'm only giving this place one star not because of the food but because of the comment that was made I'm going to assume one of the workers there the young lady at the front door could not have been nicer she was absolutely professional but I'm going to assume that was her mother speaking to her in Cantonese telling her to keep an eye on me which made absolutely no sense since I just came into your store and purchase something so I give the food three stars but I give the store one very bad service

Chicken Pad Thai. Chicken was bland, seemed like they just boiled it and put it on the plate. Not the best pad Thai I've had

To be totally honest, living in the area for 5 years we never tried Cheng Due before mainly because…read moreof the low ratings in Yelp. However, last weekend we decided to give it a try because some times we need to give the benefit of the doubt to some places and judge them by ourselves. Well, to our surprise we had a very pleasant first experience at this place. Starting with the ambience, the restaurant has a nice sophisticated and inviting atmosphere. Everything was very clean and organized in an elegant way, which caused a very good first impression. Continuing with the food, there is a variety of options in the menu, mainly Chinese (of course) but also a Japanese section (sushi and other items). We ordered from the Chinese options...For appetizers we ordered the Thai Spring Rolls, the Scallion Pancakes, and the Boneless Ribs, all of them very delicious. The Scallion Pancakes have been the best in terms of texture that we have tried in the area. Our only recommendation would be to add more scallions to the dough so they can taste more to scallion. The flavor of the Boneless Ribs was very tasty and their texture was tender, not chewy as we have tried in other places. The Thai Spring Rolls were interesting, flavor was good as well as the texture. As main entree, we ordered the Orange Crispy Beef and the Sesame Chichen and found both very delicious. The crispy beef was the first time we tried something like that in the area. The amount of sauce that they used in both dishes was not too excessive and the tenderness of both the beef and the chicken was very good. Regarding drinks, we ordered a Piña Colada and a Polynesian cocktail, both with very balanced flavors. The only recommendation for the Piña Colada is to try making it more frozen and not with too many ice cubes. The flavor was pretty similar to an authentic Piña Colada (we are from Puerto Rico, the place where this drink was born and have to admit that the flavor was good); making it more frozen would give the final touch to make it more authentic, in our opinion. The desserts menu was not extensive at all, only one option available which was the fried ice cream. We decided to try it anyway and found it very good. In terms of the service, it was acceptable. Our server did a great job taking the order and not missing any item as well as serving our table on time and accurate. He wasn't smiling all the time, but he was respectful and polite, enough for us. I would say that if you are in the area, you can give it a try. For 5 years we avoided this place, and unless they changed something recently I have to say that we like the experience and are planning to go back. We don't do late dinner regularly, so we went there around 5:30 pm, which we don't know if that could have made any difference in everything.

Weekday lunch with not much of a crowd. Lunch combinations made it easy. -- Hot and Sour Soup: Tea-colored and thin and somewhat watery, but the heat and tartness still came through. Decent amount of mushrooms and tofu, without much variety. -- Egg Roll: Crisp outside, moist inside. Mostly cabbage, with some gray pebbles of pork. Not much flavor here, so it really needed the duck sauce. -- Orange Beef: A generous portion for a lunch combo, with bumpy semi-crisp surfaces, and somewhat tender meat within. Think of them as miniature chicken fried steaks. The flavors in this dish were impressive, blending spicy, sweet, and tart. Orange, peel, onions, and other little nuggets added complexity. A little gloppy, but someone who likes this dish would like this dish here. -- Fried Rice: Very light of color and no additions other than egg. Moist and fresh, but bland. Zero flavor. White rice would make more sense (and maybe even more flavor). -- Pork Fried Rice (full order): I ordered an extra to go, to see how it compared against the lunch special rice that wasn't that special. Still light and a little lacking in flavor, but an improvement with the pork and other additions. Fairly average. Decent enough meal, reasonable value, but flavor and/or texture was a little lacking on some items. Worth another look though, thanks to the Orange Beef and the atmosphere.

The food is just barely okay, but I'd say adequate for a quick takeout situation. -- Egg Roll: Crisp, cabbagey, with lesser bits of celery. Surprisingly pink inside, but not sweet. Seasoned in a traditional way, but subdued. -- General Gao's Chicken: Big chunks, briefly crispy, sweet with no counterbalance, and a bit of extra sauce to lend the rice a hand. -- Pork Fried Rice: Bits of pork and only minimal flavor, but at least it was fresh. Bland and hot beats bland and tepid. A good amount of food for a decent price. No rival for better sit-down joints, but I'll take this place over the fast food chains, and it'll be a better value.
