We picked the Red lion because they had an in-house bar and grill. It's so much easier when traveling to park the truck and just go have dinner and cocktails without trying to find an off-site restaurant. This place was kind of like an old school Red Lion from our past. Fun bar that was packed with locals dancing on a Wednesdays night for live country music. There were several TVs playing sports. A very nice menu, our food was yummy and portions were large at a good price. Drinks were great, and the bartender was very nice and attentive, especially for such a busy night. This is a review for the restaurant, but as we stayed at the hotel, have to say it's an all-around win. The restaurant is probably a local contract and separate from the hotel. The menu said something about thanks for supporting local business. It's always great over a franchise.

Update: Just ordered take out and we are so impressed! It was refreshing to see a restaurant take special care with presentation and freshness of their food and cocktails. We've eaten at other local places that throw food in a box and our eyes are not pleased. We also ordered a burger but it was devoured before we could take a picture! We will happily support this local restaurant again!

This bar and grill is extremely nice and clean! Excellent customer service was provided throughout the whole time. The booths are so comfortable. The food costs pricey, but it's definitely worth what you pay for. I can say the price equals the quantity. You won't be disappointed! This restaurant is definitely by far one of the best I've been to regarding the delicious dishes that was beyond my expectation plus the beverages. They have happy hour so check in with that for an awesome deal. I just can't leave the drinks out! I had the best strawberry lemonade. They are common so to say the best, it's like 5 stars itself! Not too sweet and not too sour. Literally perfect. Also, my boyfriend says their Great White beer is really great like the name says. Our time there was wonderful! I highly recommend this bar & grill.

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol

I ordered the breakfast burrito and my partner had some pancakes. The burrito was decently sized tasted fresh and was nice and filling, no complaints there. The pancakes were really good and fluffy. Staff was friendly whipped up some spicy salsa for me since my breakfast burrito needed a little kick and was very attentive. There's a good amount of seating for the size of the place and they had a small bar area which I thought was a nice touch. Solid little spot of people to stop by and grab a bite to eat.

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! You guys made the party enjoyable and easy for us. We felt we could take a step back and enjoy our daughter's day! :)

Or maybe they were the peppers/onions that go on the cheesesteak? We did a DoorDash for a work group and with all fees it was a $30 sandwich (menu price $23) but I trashed after 3 bites. I tried, because I do not like to waste, but I couldn't stomach that combo. The side salad was actually great so I ate that, but essentially, $30 for a side salad is no bueno.

For starters we had steamed clams, calamari and meatballs. For our mains we decided on their Bistro Filet Ravioli, which has Ricotta, Romano, Parmesan, and Asiago jumbo stuffed raviolis, creamy alfredo, chili flakes, topped with their signature pan-seared bistro filet tips. It was amazing. We also had their Ribeye steak at about $53.00. I think it was a 14oz hand-cut ribeye, and it had the best butter on it. It came with mashed Yukon potatoes and marinated asparagus. We will be getting all of this again. We were staying in a hotel so took home some great pasta. The service is great. The food is amazing and the place is just so cute and ever so clean.

However, I was extremely disappointed with my entrée. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was so bland I was actually shocked. How could nothing on the plate have any flavor? I added salt and pepper twice and that didn't even help. The vegetables had zero seasoning. The mashed potatoes had huge chunks in them and zero seasoning. The chicken and Marsala sauce, tasteless. I saw so many reviews raving about the chicken Marsala. Maybe they got a new cook because the sauce was basically just heavy cream didn't look anything like other pictures people posted. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very good and had lots of flavor but the marinara was also quite bland and the garlic bread was a joke. It was toasted bread with a smidge of butter, no garlic whatsoever. I will not go back for the price. Definitely not worth it. The fried artichokes and salad were good, but the entree is the most important part and they totally dropped the ball. Very disappointing.
