Service was pretty good, but she did forget to read us the specials. She was cheery though. Chicken wings are meaty and garlic sauce is tasty. My parents enjoyed their meals which is the primary reason I'm giving three stars. My dad got the signature Mac n cheese and my mother got the salmon. Now for the big downside: the prosciutto pizza with balsamic drizzle. The drizzle has no flavor. This pizzas is flavorless and a huge disappointment. I didn't want to finish it. I think the prosciutto wasn't high quality either. I might come and try something else. Unsure at this point! read more

Fantastic gem of a place. Wife and I came here for a Valentine's Day lunch. They have a great original cocktail menu, which I tried 2 different drinks from (Daisy Buchanan and Model T). Wife got an espresso martini. All were top shelf quality. Entrees were the Blackened Salmon fish tacos and Chicken Brie Avocado Bacon sandwich. Both were excellent. The fries were hand cut and fresh. We love Three V's and all the nice Staff who have waited on us. Last week we had the pleasure of meeting Erin as we sat outside for the first time on a beautiful summer evening. Erin was very sweet and patient taking our order as there are so many great items to choose from, it's hard to decide! My wife tried the Soba Noodle Bowl on this visit and I had the Teriyaki Steak Tips (fabulous!). Went with my husband this past Sunday June 9th. we were surprised the bar was almost empty maybe 6 or 8 other people seated at the bar 630pm .we initially planned on getting Dinner but ended up having a glass of wine only because the male bartender was extremely rude slamming things around splashing drinks very aggressive he made us feel very uncomfortable!! I have gone in several times before and never had a problem I hope that this helps I will be back again but I will look to see who is bartending first. read more

I ordered chicken francaise and it looked and tasted bland and like nursing home food. The vegetables were soggy and tasteless too. My patron margarita was terrific in a tall glass. Others in my party ordered bolognese, Mediterranean bowl, and burger and they enjoyed their meal immensely. It's far too loud in there for me despite the fact that everyone in there was my age or older (59+). Placed was packed, not a seat to be found and we arrived at 4pm. Would I go back? Not sure. The food was wonderful. The Oysters on the half shell and beet salad with steak tips were excellent. The service could not have been better. The only complaint was that the restaurant smelled very musty. We got there early and I realize this is a former factory but the musty smell really took away from the ambiance. The Good and the Bad We've been to Three V twice and overall the food is really good. I had the short ribs (excellent) the first time and my wife had a filet. She ordered the steak at medium-rare. Unfortunately, it came back well done. What I will say is that the manager saw this, apologized and had them cook up another steak (and took her entire meal off the bill). While this was done, we kind of shared foods. The second time we went (the food, service, and atmosphere had us give them a second chance). I had the soba noodles with steak tips. It was amazing (and don't let the $10 additional cost get you, they provided a good amount of steak tips). We ended with a molten chocolate cake. Perfecto. We will definitely be trying this place again. The one thing that keeps me from giving this a 4 is at this price point, you want to have a consistently good experience. I'm hoping to come back to this to update this rating in the future. They do have a good range of dishes and a really good drink menu. I will say that the service and especially the way the manager handled the first situation was excellent. read more

The atmosphere of Three V is a welcome one. The wait staff are very hospitable and have a good knowledge of their listings. The restaurant is low light. With a cute bar top and flat screens over head. Bare brick walls with a wood fire pizza oven. The style is wonderful. People quietly chatting. Some people just sitting with friends drinking tea and coffee. Food was good. Pizza was an interesting artisanal take. The prosciutto pizza was a little dull and attacks you a bit with the balsamic dressing. We also tried both the garlic honey and buffalo wings. The garlic could have been a bit more prevalent. I was so excited to hear that a new restaurant opened up in town. Always the first to try something new, I tried to make a reservation at Three V, but they told me that it was walk in only. We got there around 6:30pm on a weekday. We were able to be seated, a table of five right away in the back corner near the bar. For 6:30pm on a weekday the place was almost completely full including the bar. I really enjoyed the environment right off the bat. We were greeted by our amazing server, Darien. He was great, super attentive and quick with everything. We ordered a round of drinks, I with my martini, my mom the same, and my sister tried a craft cocktail. When my friend and her husband joined us, they opted for a round of martinis as well. I must say, I was impressed by the bartending. My martini was exactly how I like it, and all the rest of the martini drinkers at the table agreed. My sister loved her cocktail. We put in a few appetizers, clam chowder and tempura vegetables, and although I didn't try any of these everyone seemed to enjoy them. I ended up getting a salad with salmon on it and a side of roasted sweet potatoes. Unfortunately, the salad was pretty bland and it didn't seem like anyone put any great effort or detail into it. A bed of lettuce, dry with raw onions, sprinkled with goat cheese and cherry tomatoes, that was about it. There is no real taste to it and the presentation was underwhelming. The roasted sweet potatoes however, were very good. My mom and my girlfriend got pizzas and those weren't great either. My sister got the tuna dish that she had the last time she was there and she seemed to like it, but did mention that it wasn't as good as the first time she had it. The prices were fair to expensive, the service was great, as well as the environment, but the food did not live up to the expectations. I do like the idea of this restaurant and I do love Mamma Mia's, which is an Italian restaurant in town that has been around for years with the same owners. I definitely want to give it another try. It's a bad sign when you are handed a menu and, after reading the choices, you flip it over in hopes there are more on the reverse instead of saying, "Wow! Everything looks so good, I can't decide!" Our food was pedestrian. That is, plain and unimaginative. I asked around and a company president next door said he'd tried it twice. It sucked the first time but he gave it a second chance and, yup, it sucked again. This is a good family name. More care should have been taken before putting out a boring set of ordinary food choices. Make one of those "V's" variety, kids! read more

What I loved-The atmosphere is very cool and trendy! Bar is gorgeous and lots of flat screens. We sat at a high top table which was comfortable as we ended up staying for three hours, ordering drinks and apps. It was very busy but we could still carry a conversation- it wasn't loud like other places. Our server was incredibly friendly and never once did I feel rushed. Drinks- cocktail presentations were dynamite! Always fun to get a drink that has flair! Food- LOVED the small pizzas, the fried vegetables were amazing. My wife and I ate at 3V last night and most likely will not be returning. First off major renovation done here since the last time I was at the property (previously roo-bar). Huge bar in the main room, had a great crowd of younger professional looking people for a Tuesday night. On to our dining experience, I ordered a martini which came out just over half full with 3 huge olives in it. The 2 sips in the glass we also not very good, more vermouth than vodka. I ordered a beer after the first sip, which was an ipa from second wind which was delicious. The garlic wings were good. Nice and crispy and a good amount. I ordered fish tacos for dinner which were majority lettuce. The fish was almost non existent and greasy My wife had the burger. Cooked well and presented well with curly fries and the logo burned into the bun. Burger tasted good at the time but made us both feel sick later on after we left. I ate some of her burger asI was not impressed with my tacos Lastly ordered the creme brûlée which looked great, but was obviously made and Carmelized then left in the fridge. It tasted like it was taken out and put under a heat lamp for 5 min before served We left unimpressed and not feeling well for the rest of the night. --- went back again this week, dragged in by a friend who I had told about the bad experience . Just OK. First time trying Three V last night, first the good news: We had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. The dining room was just about filled and the very large bar area was hopping and had a great vibe. Our waitress arrived not long after we were seated and was attentive during our dinner. Now for the food. We ordered the jumbo chicken wings in teriyaki to start and I will say they were in deed jumbo and very meaty but truly lacked in the flavor department, maybe we should have opted for a different flavor? We both got the burgers and ordered them medium rare. Our burgers were SO over cooked it was almost as if we had ordered them extra well done. My husbands burger was so overcooked it was charred and crunchy on one side. We did tell our server about this and she offered to replace them, but at this point we had another engagement and did not have the time to wait for a new dinner. We were somewhat surprised that management did not stop over to offer an apology or try to make things right. The only happy campers in this were our dogs who enjoyed our leftover burgers, no complaints from them on how they were cooked:) We will give Three V another try and hope for a better experience next time. read more

Really enjoyed ThreeV! It was crowded in the bar area, but not overly so. Menu had a lot of things we wanted to try, so we will be going back for more. They were out of the first two beers my husband ordered, which was a little annoying but I'm giving them the credit that they just opened and are working out the kinks of what their customers drink more of. We happened to notice this place when we recently ate at The Black Raspberry Pub so we figured we'd give it a try and we are sooooo glad we did! First off the bartender and servers are fabulous and very friendly which just makes the whole experience even better. They have a list of drinks on a the wall so we figured we'd something different. The Smore's Martini is just to die for! One of the best drinks I've ever had and The Purple Cow is outstanding as well. They have $1 Oyster Specials that they serve with champagne vinaigrette that are wicked good and the calamari has a nice light batter and not chewy like some places. I had the turkey tips and mashed which was very good but a couple folks at our table got the Seafood Risotto and they all have not stopped raving about it! Happy St. Patty's Day!!!!!! We went in tonight to eat drink and me merry after work to celebrate a National holiday! The place was full and the hostess told us 45 min. We asked for bar seats and was told the same. Mike ( who I assume was the manager) came to us, offered us seating while we waited and said he'd keep looking and update us on seating. Approx 20 minutes later Mike made two seats for us at the bar and we sat in a safe and comfortable atmosphere and had an awesome time!!! We couldn't be more pleased considering we were expecting the worst as far as seating goes based on the day it was. 110% effort by the 3 V staff and our tip reflected it! See you again soon! My partner and I tried Three V for the first time this past weekend -- it was a phenomenal experience! The open layout of the dining room gave it a cool ambiance, and we had a very comfortable experience sitting at the huge bar. It was moderately busy when we got there, but by the time we were leaving it was packed (typical Saturday afternoon to evening turnover). A previous reviewer mentioned it being too loud while he was there, but I can attest that with a fully packed bar we were able to carry on a conversation easily. Our bartender was a lovely woman named Sue who was very attentive to our needs, and made us some killer drinks. For food we shared the mac and cheese and the fish and chips -- all of it was fantastic. Try the green fries (battered green beans), they were super tasty! To summarize, even if you go to Three V for the food and drinks alone, you won't be disappointed! We will definitely be back soon! read more
