A nice treasure in the heart of E. Arlington. The wraps and smoothies are superb and the people are very pleasant. My only complaint is that it shouldn't take 15+ minutes to get a wrap even at lunchtime. Perhaps it was an off day, but at times there were 4 - 5 items behind the counter and nobody available to provide them to the customers. The employees were very nice and the service was pretty speedy on a weekend morning. I got the cacao smoothie bowl, which was good, but not outstanding. There was an overwhelming taste of banana but not much else. I also ordered a Maca Muscle smoothie; this was more flavorful than the bowl, in my opinion. Excellent shop. Has great employees that are exceptionally helpful. They have quite a selection of smoothies(both fruit based and vegetable based.= Same for their freshly made juice. Food selection is diverse but the shop is vegetarian based. I'm not a vegetarian but their salads, wraps, and bowls are all excellent. It is reasonably priced and well worth the trouble. They also have soup. Really good soup. I highly recommend the chili, Masala, and the fire roasted vegetable soup. This place reminds me of the juice bars at Venice Beach and Santa Monica where I grew up. Whether vegetarian or an omnivore this locally owned shop has become one of my favorite places in Boston. read more

They got my order wrong and their avocado toast was just sad and depressing. I could have made a better piece of toast myself. The açaí bowl also tasted very bland and the almond butter was scooped on top of my bowl in a hard clump impossible to break apart with a plastic spoon. Sad sad day for me and açaí bowl. read more

Very disappointed, my smoothie was delicious but my friends was not completely blended and chunky , we ordered the TLT wrap spicy, on spinach wrap and warm. I received our order and it was on wheat so I told the girl at the door, she said there was nothing she could do, we hadn't even taken a bite of it... I dislike wheat greatly so it would have been nice to wrap it in the rice wrap they have available or even lettuce! To sup it up they said there is nothing they can do to help and didn't offer to remake it or comp anything... very poor service! read more

This is definitely my favorite juice and smoothie place. The smoothies and juices are not only SO tasty and the food is so yummy and healthy but they are a very health conscious establishment. Inside on the wall is information on ingredients and what their purposes are and what they are good for. I come here 3x a week at least. Such a cute cafe - I would definitely recommend!! The food is made right before your eyes, and they seem to be really knowledgeable about all the ingredients they put into each meal and why they are included. Ridiculously slow and poorly supervised high school students working in a tiny smoothie shop. The employees working behind the counter were completely aloof and they do not call out your name when your order is ready even as more and more waiting customers crammed into their tiny shop. I waited 30 minutes for my smoothie which had actually been ready 15 minutes after I placed my order. Instead of looking around the shop for the customer to hand them their orders or simply calling the names of the customers, the girls working behind the counter directly put all of the orders into the refrigerator behind them. When I asked if my order was ready, the girl behind the counter took a quick glance at the refrigerator and despite there being more smoothies than customers standing in the shop told me that my order wasn't ready. Two other long-waiting customers also asked about their orders and the girl finally took a closer look and then found their orders. When I asked again, the girl took a closer look behind her and finally handed me my order. To the owner: I will not return to your shop because of the blatant disrespect towards your customers time. Be a real manager and train your high school employees to respect their customers and pay attention. read more

I decided to give this place a try because of the rating but I am highly disappointed. These were the worst smoothies I had in my life. I wanted to turn around and return my smoothies since it was $20 total for both and it tasted like nothing. I couldn't even taste the fruits. It's $5.50 for 12oz, $5.50+ $1.50 for 16oz and $5.50+$4.50 for 24 oz incase for 1st timers like myself who didn't know what the prices were. I love smoothies and never again at this place. read more

My boyfriend and I had lunch at the Thrive Cafe while visiting the area over the 4th of July weekend. He had the Avacado Power salad with mustard vinaigrette and the 3 Nuts over Chocolate smoothie. I had the Chop Chop salad with a citrus vinaigrette and the Grateful Garden green juice. We both loved what we ordered. The salads were incredibly fresh and the dressings were light and flavorful. The service was excellent. The young man and woman that waited on us were friendly and quick. We met the owner, Derek, who made us feel as though we were regulars. We will definitely go there again whenever we are in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant for a healthy, satisfying, and tasty breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner. read more

I never thought of myself as a juice or smoothie person, but this place has converted me! I consider myself a healthy person but in general, I prefer to eat my calories. I now see how yummy green juices can be. Their signature juice is delicious...it has lots of greens plus apple, ginger, and lemon. The #2 smoothie has bananas, cashews,and coconut oil among other ingredients (I added kale to it per the suggestion from Derek, one of the owners)so if you're counting calories, you might want to skip that one, but if you're into healthy fats and probably the best smoothie you've ever tasted, you should go for it. They also have a few food items including soup specials, salads, and wraps. The menu is small, but everything I've had has been delicious and fresh. There is an amazing pumpkin pudding of sorts and also some fantastic chocolate type truffles with coconut cream I think everything on the menu is vegan. The people that work here are warm and welcoming. There is limited to no seating inside, but that's the only down side. read more

Just stopped in for a post-yoga smoothie and left with the most delicious Fire Roasted Veggie soup and a bag of granola. I'm not much of a granola person because of the sugar, and usually too much oats, but their granola is a whole different experience with seeds and dates. I love it! The smoothie was great.
