The first time I went to see Dr. Lin Ying Wang was for my serious low back pain. Dr. Wang used acupuncture and acupressure to treat my problem. After a few sessions, my pain went away. Since then, whenever I had back problems, I went to see Dr. Wang right away, and she always got my problems cured. Dr. Wang is also very good at treating sleeping disorder; I went to see Dr. Wang a few times because I couldn't sleep well during the night. After her treatment, I was able to sleep well. This review is for Dr. Linda Wang. She is a great doctor. She treated me and my mom. We were both very happy with the results. When I first went to see her, I was tortured by insomnia and indigestion for two years after I had my twins. I went to see her regularly and after several treatments, I started feeling much better. Now I have no problem falling asleep, but I still see her regularly since I work out and dance a lot, I always have some kind of muscle pain. After each treatment, the pain becomes minor and I can go back to my work out routine immediately. I strongly recommend her if you have trouble falling asleep or can't sleep deep or long. I can't recommend Dr. Linda and Thriving Chiropractic enough. I have played competitive soccer my whole life and am also an avid rock climber. That being said, I am pretty much constantly injured. I was diagnosed with a swollen "fatty liver" and my enzyme #s were quite high..... ast-181 and alt -180. i also had a total cholesterol of 410. After 5 weeks of a combination of Chinese herbs, acupressure and accupuncture from Dr Wang, my enzymes came down to normal range (23 and 33) and my cholesterol dropped to 165. Dr. Wang has been treating my migraine headaches. I have severe migraine headaches for over ten years and the neurologists that I've seen said that there's not much more that they can do to help. I went to the center for all kinds of pains I got usually from playing badminton - back, wrist, shoulder, etc., and the doctors can treat my problem using multiple disciplines and techniques, be it chiropractics, acupuncture, or massage, and most of the time they fix my problem in 2-4 treatments. The staff are very nice too. The only exception is that my back pain is not completely healed after quite some sessions, but I don't blame them since I've been to many other chiropractors, acupuncturists, orthopedists, none of them seem to do better, and I know it will take more than what the center can do to heal my back pain. read more

I've had chronic back pain, headaches, and sciatic pain and although the back pain still exists, the headaches are less frequent and the sciatic pain is not as severe.Lucy is a great masseuse too who really focuses on your trouble spots, although she is on leave until january. I went weekly for acupuncture to the Healing Center for about 6 months last year. I originally went in for headaches/migranes. Sadly the acupuncturist was only able to help me with those issues slightly. What surprised me most was that the acupuncturist noticed a circulation issue my doctors at Kaiser had diagnosed years before but had said their was no treatment for. My joints were thus usually swollen and sore due to my circulation being poor. Through acupuncture and acupressure my joints became less sore and less swollen. Other people even noticed my joints being less swollen--I had a few people tell me it looked like I had lost 10 pounds in my legs! I was very pleased with the results I received for my joints but in the end concluded that my migraines could not be helped by acupuncture. read more

Summary: I have been at this place for the past two months with Dr Helen Wang. My back pain has recovered a lot!! The fees are covered by my PPO plan as chiropractic. I got a lower back pain mostly because sitting for too long at work (I'm a software engineer). I'm a lot better now, and no longer feel soreness after one day's work. Most of the treatments I got was relaxing the muscles (ultrasonic, heat and cool padding) and also doing recovery exercises together with massage. There's only a few real chiropractic "bone cracking" moments after a lot of massage and relaxing, which I think is the proper way to do it. I once asked Helen about difference between chiropractic and physical therapist. She mentioned PT focuses on letting u exercise and improve your muscle, but she also does that in her treatment along the way, because that's the only way to really fix the problem. She also taught me how to stretch and improve strength of my back, which have been really helpful. The crews are really nice and helpful. I've seen Dr Helen Wang 7 or 8 times in the past 6 months for both back and and tendonitis pain. It takes two to three sessions with her and my back is back to 100%. I'm plan to continue to see her until my tendonitis is gone! I've seen about a dozen different chiropractors and she is one of the best I have ever worked with. My review is for Dr Lin Wang. I went to see her for several hormonal imbalances and digestive problems that I had tried to sort out with different approaches without much success. I tried acupuncture in the past but never felt a real improvement. I also tried homeopathy, naturopathy, etc. but they did not seem to work for me. In a few months - from February to May - Dr Wang was able to surprise me more than once. At first she helped me with my sleep, making it a pleasure again to go to bed. Then she worked on my digestion and my chronic diarrhea improved dramatically. And little by little she addressed my hormonal imbalances. When I saw her I did not have a period for 3 months (and it had been irregular for years) and now I am menstruating again with a fairly normal cycle. My thyroid got so much better than the doctor suggested weaning off my medication. I liked the fact that she uses acupuncture but also does a massage either before and/or after the needles. I believe that the massage reinforces the action of the needles. If I have a particular discomfort - muscular pain, etc. - she pays attention to that area in addition to my usual treatment. I also got herbs to make teas and I could stand them very well - I am usually very bad with supplements but the herbs actually helped my digestion. Dr Wang does her job very well and conscientiously and I believe she also has a special gift, something I have not grasped completely but that keeps surprising me. It took me months when I finally decided to write this review. I contemplated to give them a chance. My husband suggested I should not even though he is more upset than me. I went to their new clinic location in Mountain View last year desperate to get treatment because of my back pain and head ache. I spoke to Ethan and asked if I could speak to Helen Wang. He ended up having an exchange of words with me and seems to me they're not interested to see me anymore and made me feel like a desperate stupid patient! My son was with me and witnessed my rejection from Ethan. He felt bad for me because I was in such pain. He wondered and asked me, "Aren't you friends with Auntie Helen?" Dr. Helen Wang never called me back. These all happened because Ethan was looking for more checks my health insurance had sent us. Didn't they get paid more than what it supposed to when I was asked to sign three signatures several times to get seen from the past few years I've been seeing them, from Aetna to Blue Cross? I referred so many patients to them even though I had this experience because Dr.Helen Wang helped me reduced my migraine headache. I had a very good relationship with her but Ethan severed that. I was instructed by Ethan to be discreet when they were at the Sunnyvale office with another Chiropractor's clinic temporarily since we were discussing about the three signatures and billing. I AM TREATED LIKE I CAN'T PAY THEM so I never got a call back and Ethan won't schedule me unless I pay upfront. I wonder how many are doing this practice with them? Dr. Helen Wang is really a good chiropractor but the billing practice is such a scam. I know more and previous request from them but I will remain mum for now. Dr.Helen Wang is an Amazing chiropractor! About 8 years ago I saw Helen for my toe pain and she helped me feel pain free. A few years later I injured my shoulder in an accident and after 6 weeks of Physical therapy, my shoulder was still hurting. So, I went to Helen again. She is the best! She is very knowledgeable and she helped me recover from it completely. She also taught me some simple shoulder strengthening exercises. This place is magic. I walked in there barely able to walk because of a pinched nerve in my back. I suffered all weekend from pain not beeing able to sleep nor sit nor walk. I came to the center about two and a half months ago to seek treatment for insomnia. Sleep deprivation was getting so severe that it started to noticeably impact my work; I was at the end of the rope, but really did not want to go the Ambien route. After my first treatment with Dr. Lin Ying Wang, I slept through the night. Dr. Ethan Pan is great too. I am happy to say that after two and a half months of treatments (acupuncture/acupressure 2-3 times a week for the first month and then weekly afterward) I finally sleep like a "normal" person. I found that the treatments themselves are very thorough. Dr. Wang does acupressure massage in addition to actual acupuncture. You are in there for good 55 minutes. The acupressure massage feels divine. I would go to the center just for that. In conclusion, I *highly* recommend Natural Healing Center. I was previously a patient of chiropractors who were just interested in treating my symptoms. I pulled my back during a basketball game. It was a new injury on the old wound. When I came in to the clinic barely walking, Dr. Wang was so very knowledgeable and patient while analyzing my injury and developing a treatment plan for me. I totally had 5 sections of chiropractic in two weeks. And I was able to hop on a plane for international business trip and back on the basketball court after that. Overall the environment of the clinic is very clean and comfortable. The staffs were all very nice and thorough. I'm a car buyer from Denver I travel the coastal cities quite often visiting auctions for worth wild buys. After sometime I began having sleep issues which I believed turned into back pain and just general discomfort in almost any laying position. Wang and now for the last 2 yrs when I travel to California I also get adjusted. Dr. Wang's treatment were different from the standard chiropracotor treatments, she takes her time to address the underlying issues. Spending 20-30 minutes each treatment by combining lots of soft tissue therapy, adjustments, and also home exercises as well. I have been suffering from Migraines for the last four years. In my case they cause severe stomach problems afterwards. I came in to see the doctor after seeing all the regular doctors and figuring I had nothing to lose. The first day Dr wang did accupuncture and massaged my stomach area. As a parent one over worries for our children. Especially when children are in sports. When my son injured him self during a Judo tournament.
