Oh my gosh!!! This place absolutely is mind blowing. The ambiance is clean and inviting. Big flavor in a small town. The service was friendly and informative good energy and polite. Now the Beef noodle soup is the best I've had anywhere including. Los Angeles and San Francisco who food usually tops anywhere else. The broth is what really what sets it apart. This used to be a favorite place for dinner. It has been about 1 year since we ate there and I am very sad to say it has slid a long ways. New menu is extremely limited; food quality is terrible at best. Out of 3 people eating there 2 of them wound up in the bathroom with extreme intestinal issues. Price is up, quality is very poor. Will not ever go back or recommend to anyone unless I do not like them. Very sad since this was always a favorite place for the last 4 years. read more

I was NOT expecting to have top notch Pho down in Bisbee, but not only was I wrong about that but we had amazing curry, too! The Pho was fresh and seasoned beautifully, and the curry was hot, bubbling, and also fresh as heck. From a couple of restaurants offering vegan/plant based options in Bisbee, Arizona, we decided to try Vietnamese food today. The food tasted okay, but none of the dishes we ordered had the ingredients/flavors/textures the menu listed. The vegan Pho came with carrots and broccoli instead of daikon,chayote, jicama and mushrooms. The vegan curry didn't have broccoli nor mushrooms. The vegan fresh rolls didn't have cucumbers. Disappointing! Edible... but not what we ordered or paid for. read more

The BEST Vietnamese food in the state. In my Opinion. We drive down from Tucson every couple weeks and eat a ridiculous amount of food here and take some to go also. I recommend the lemongrass ginger chicken, that is my favorite item. But really EVERYTHING is on point and Amazing. A taste of variety in this small town. We had the fried roll filled with shrimp and pork, caramelized catfish, grilled pork with vermicelli noodles, lemongrass chicken, and a small bowl of beef broth pho. All were pretty good. My only complaint is the lemongrass chicken lacked seasoning. It was probably on purpose because the sauce had a hint of fish sauce, which could be salty. The catfish was prepared in a clay pot which maintained the heat throughout. We had fresh coconut juice and limeade, which were refreshing. read more

My wife and I went to Thuys after calling them and being assured they had vegan items on the menu. When we got there the menu had a separate small section called Vegan Options. The Vegan Noodle Salad looked good and featured "vegan fried rolls". It took an unusually long time to get our food, considering that a couple of parties that came in after already had gotten served. But we could live with that, even though we had a memorial service to get to. First the server brought out 2 small dishes of fish sauce. I was surprised. I told him "We are vegan. We don't eat fish." He looked confused and took the sauce back. This was the same server we had asked about the vegan menu items. Then the dish with the 4 large wraps came. After the first bite I noticed something wasn't right. I looked at the wrap and it had a thick layer of egg embedded in it. I was shocked since we clearly had ordered (and confirmed beforehand) a vegan meal. I went to the front counter and told them that this was not vegan and the cook told me "I know the menu is confusing. If you look further down (where there are other dishes with rolls) it it lists ingredients. But we were ordering from the vegan options, which clearly stated "vegan fried rolls"! He apologized but madfe no attempt to remedy it. We ate about 10% of the dish because we were hungry and short on time. Nobody ever checked on us. When we were ready to leave I went to the front counter and said, in a calm voice, "You really shouldn't charge us or, at least give us a discount because the food was not what was stated on the menu and we couldn't eat most of it. He said he'd talk to the owner. He came back and charged us the full amount! I was again shocked. We have had restaurants make mistakes but they always tried to remedy it, either by rushing a new order or not charging us. No attempt was made to remedy anything. A non-veghgan dish should not be advertise on the menu as vegan. As they knew of this error they could have changed it or, at leat told their servers to warn anyone ordering the dish. It was in Vegan Options! Any establishent that thinks so littyle of customer swervice, especially the owmer, should not get any business. We felt like we were lied to and ripped off. read more

Albeit strange to find a good Asian restaurant in the middle of an old mining town, this was a good and authentic Vietnamese diner. The rice paper-based fresh rolls were amongst the best I've ever had. A large slice of flavorful pork and a shrimp in each one of them. They also sported a nice ratio of other ingredients (herbs, rice noodles, etc. ) which can often be overwhelmed by mint or basil at lesser restaurants. The curry chicken arrived dramatically bubbling and filling the air with fragrant steam. The BahnMi was attractive, nicely filled and on a great flaky baguette. The aioli on the side allows one to use only as much as they want. The Vietnamese coffee was bracing yet sweet. We found it to be a good palate cleanser between bites. I don't give 5's often and maybe in a big city this would be a 4 (due to limited menu) but to me the execution was key and the ability to have this cuisine, while others hit the plethora of burger and fried appetizer places in town, was welcomed. read more

The food is fantastic at Thuy's! My favorite is the noodle salad with 2 large pork and shrimp fried rolls! The salad is always very fresh and complements the fresh rice noodles piled in the center. Recently we discovered the new vegan fried rolls that were so tasty and crisp and featured sweet potato, tofu and vegetables. Great option for dipping in the sweet/spicy chili sauce! read more

Vegan options rock! My review is for the vegan options: Pho and Fresh Roll. I was really surprised how good they were. We ordered the fresh rolls again for to-go for dinner. The fresh roll was tasty and has tofu inside. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, they don't have the vegan curry. It is only available on Tuesdays. The vegan pho was yummy. I got takeout from here for lunch on a Wednesday. My food was ready about 25 minutes after my order. When I placed my order, the gave me an accurate estimate of when my order would be ready, which was good! It's nice when I show up just as my order is finishing up. I ordered the vegetarian pho and the vegetarian fried egg roll. The fried egg roll was huge - the biggest one I've ever had. It was very good. It was fried to a nice crisp without being overdone, and stuffed with veggies. The pho came with the noodles and greens separate from the broth. Together, they made a very tasty pho. It was flavorful and filled with veggies. I had the large, and the portion was indeed quite large. I was able to get full meals out of my order. read more

What a spot! Tucked away in my hometown of Bisbee in southeastern Arizona, my first visit was nothing less than impressive. The food and the service is five star. Greeted by the owner and staff with a welcoming hello, quickly seated and menus delivered to begin our mouthwatering journey. We ordered a fresh roll and two fried rolls followed by beef pho, chicken pho, and chicken curry, which came out hot and bubbly, and everything was terrific. Two sodas and a jasmine iced tea too. Delicious Vietnamese food in a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in downtown Bisbee. We made it a point to come here during a visit last April after receiving a friend's recommendation. The pho tai was delicious, flavorful, and filling. We also enjoyed the spring rolls and Vietnamese iced coffee. It's a small place, so be prepared to sit close to neighbors. The service was attentive, and it was cool to see Thuy herself in the kitchen. The only downside was the temperature of the restaurant. They don't have AC, and it was a warm day, so combine that with the hot soup and we were dripping sweat. The iced coffee was a nice, cool treat, but plan to come here on a cool day or take it to-go if you're staying somewhere with AC. read more

Food-wise, Thuy's has absolutely excellent, delicious and authentic pho, noodles and egg rolls. Service-wise, this place is chaotic and an absolute mess. My family and I recently stopped by Thuy's last Saturday for lunch. It was a cold day and they had plenty of tables available inside and out. We sat down and were immediately given menus. The menu had no prices listed, which I thought was odd. After around 15 minutes they finally took our orders. I ordered the chicken pho for me and another one for my daughter, and my husband ordered the pork bun. We also had my sister and her friend there with us and they both ordered pho. All of our dishes came out at different times, I was the last to be served pho after an hour of being at the restaurant. I know for a fact that pho broth is already to go, they literally just have to pour the broth over noodles. An hour wait for my dish is absolutely ridiculous. Overall it was chaotic, the servers all seemed to just go to whatever table they want to serve and we never had the same server twice come to our table. It was incredible disorganized, we couldn't get anyone to help us several times, never had our water filled and trust me I will not be back. Passing through Bisbee for one night on NYE and I knew I had to try this restaurant. I mean, good Vietnamese food in a random small town in Arizona? Coming from Southern California where there are amazing pho restaurants on every block, we had to go! And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It's a house turned cute little restaurant with 8 tables inside. We arrived right in time because as we were leaving, it was a full house and they were running out of menu items. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We ordered the vegan rice rolls, lemongrass chicken, vegan pho and pho ga (chicken). The rice rolls were a perfectly wrapped mix of tofu, noodles, cilantro and mushrooms. And the peanut sauce was such a treat. The lemongrass chicken was full of flavor, love that there was plenty of lemongrass in the dish. The vegan pho broth was sweet and savory. The biggest surprise was the pho ga, it was delicious. The flavors were so different than the traditional pho ga back in the restaurants at home - the chicken and the broth were legit fabulous. What a gem of place! I love this place! A decent variety of food and drinks. I especially love the lime soda. It's so fresh tasting. I have had the beef Pho on two separate occasions and it was delicious both times. This place is seriously overrated. The blonde younger lady and the owner lady had the worst attitudes. There was a nice young guy that worked there and whose kindness seemed to apologize for the poor customer service. Things that went wrong: 1. They had us wait outside and seated a couple who got there after us BEFORE us. 2. The young blonde waitress's attitude seriously sucks. No customer service, no friendly demeanor, no smile, nada. She didn't even bother explaining the menu--we had to ask, and she seemed annoyed when she plated our appetizers and dishes all on the one tiny table that was available (due to the restaurants Itty bitty location). How about plate the appetizers and time the entree? 3. THANKFULLY my boyfriend did ask what was in the Pho dish only to realize they didn't give us half the items or forewarn us that they were low on ingredients and would be self selecting which people/dishes got which ingredients. I don't know if you eat Pho, but I do. It comes with more than wilted, brown bean sprouts and limes. I saw a customer served afterwards with basil, cilantro, etc. there was literally JUST noodles, tofu, and some broccoli pieces. When we brought it up to the chef/owner and our interaction of her was rude just a we don't have that, no apology no empathy. Bland and dishonest if you ask me. 4. Also we got to experience a food code violation with a chipped teapot with a side attitude for bringing up the fact that they miss-advertised what would be in the dishes. Save your money and go somewhere else.
