Who needs to go to those fancy foo foo stores when sam has watches and shades at his shop, Sam hooked me up with a nixon... Rose gold i may add.. I love this watch.! for the few people that actually spend time to buy a watch at a store these days, it can be nerve wrecking when you actually walk into a store which everyone that works there thinks they are better then you, dresses in a sharp suit, or judges you by your appearance (usually age). not so here at tic time, the owner, Sam makes every customer feel welcome. maybe some think that its unprofessional or whatever, to have Sam "kick it" and see "whats new." feels almost like a hang out place. but dont downplay Sam, he knows his pros and cons for the brands that he carries. and he'll tell you if you ask for his honest opinion. he wont just say all macy like, "oh its a nice looking watch, you should buy it." i prefer to deal with Sam, his wife, who helps out sometimes, and his brother Victor. i dont like how his employees try to ask for more money when i want to order a brand new one. it shouldnt cost more, afterall its only a phone call to their sales rep. i could probably get better deals elsewheres, but i feel safer when i buy from here. the only problem i have is how far down i have to drive to get there... now if only they carried more brands...IWC and oris would probably look well in their store.....(they currently carry, luminox, hamilton, zodiac, reactor, citizen, tissot, and a few other brands) read more

Do not go here if you want help. The girl in the shop refused to get off the phone when I brought 4 watches in for repair. She held the phone to her chest as I asked questions. She seemed bothered at the fact I interrupted her phone call. When I asked to speak to the manager, she claimed she was on the manager but would not give me her name. When I asked for the owner, she claimed she was talking to him but I can almost guarantee it was her boyfriend and when I left and called to ask for the owners name, she would only say Sam. Good luck staying in business if that's the types of lazy employees you hire. Im taking my business to someone who wants it. read more

I found this store on Yelp and I have to say that all of the posts were true! They are very reasonably priced for watch battery replacement, they are ultra friendly, very knowledgeable and go out of their way to take excellent care of you and your watches. They even have a sister store on the 1st floor that can take care of some of the more difficult jobs. They worked on sports watches all the way up to nice Italian made watches. I would highly recommend them! They also had a nice selection of watches for sale. Great job!! read more

Today I came in for a battery replacement and Sam the owner finished it in like 15 minutes. And that was two watches in 15 minutes. Wow! The price is reasonable and the customer service is great. Took both my Burberry and Rolex for re-sizing to remove a few links. I called in to check store hours and got the deal on Yelp, went in and Sam was super professional,. t took only 3 mins for him to do the work and another 3 mins for me to try and check out. I was very impressed by the quality of service and workmanship here and will be back for some NIXON watches but may be for wood watches that caught my eye while I was in there. read more

We were visiting South Bay Galleria and this store caught our attention with its window and store decoration. We were amazed by the tasteful and attractive decoration and the window display of variety of watches. My spouse started looking around for a fashion watch when we were greeted by a gentleman who introduced himself as the owner and offered his expertise very professionally. His name is Sam. We were surprised by his knowledge in watches. He had an answer to every question we asked. And we couldn't leave the store without buying a watch. But we're very happy we did. My Citizen wrist watch is probably 15 years old. As the watch holds great sentimental value (being a gift from my wife), I hold onto it; refusing to relinquish for a newer model. Consequently, I have been finding it increasingly difficult (for the last 10 years) to find anyone competent to repair/service the watch. In fact, most watch shops can replace the battery but are unable to set the date/time on the watch. I've had shops replace the internals of the watch because they couldn't do the watch setup correctly (claiming it was broken). I was so happy when I found Tic Time (and Sam, the proprietor for Tic Time). Tackling the difficult task, Sam persevered until he was able to do the complete setup. I've had shops set the watch so that the 24 hour dial was off by 8 hours; one set it such that the date was changing in the middle of the afternoon). Sam researched the watch and kept at the challenge until it was done correctly. In addition to his competence, Sam puts the personal, small town, touch to the shop. I only see him maybe once every year or two, but he remembers me each time I come in. I've been coming to Tic Time for at least the last 8 years. I'm so happy with Tic Time that after retiring from work in the South Bay, I happily drive the 120 mile round trip to bring my business to them. They've earned my loyalty. read more

I was looking for a place to resize my watch and get a new battery. Found Tic Time on Yelp and because of all the great reviews decided to give it a chance. I called and spoke to Jamie to make sure about the resizing and battery she gave me am estimate and advised the battery would depend on the watch and also that they were warrantied for 5 years. I went later that day to get the watch fixed and Jamie remembered my call. She was great! Very professional and friendly as well. Great service. She provided all the pertaining info and also advised that if I changed my mind to the size I got on my watch could go again to get it fix at no extra charge. Recently, I purchased a large and heavy watch held on by spring loaded wrist band from Amazon. It flung off my arm after throwing a ball, at which point it hit the ground breaking the stem. The fix here was completed the same day. It was more affordable than expected too. read more
