I came to this location early afternoon. My boyfriend has purchased an engagement ring for me from the Tiffany's in Scottsdale, AZ. I simply wanted to try on the ring I know he purchased for me to check for sizing and the way she spoke to us was rude. Questioning if he purchased in fact a Tiffany ring and stating they only carry a size 6 so why would I want to try it on... I know that information.... I wanted to see if I was a 6 or needed a bigger size. The person helping my sister and I was not pleasant and walked away from us before she even checked to see if I needed anything else. The next thing I wanted to do was look at bands but she quickly walked away and went to the back. The experience was upsetting, because an engagement is supposed to be exciting.... I just had a horrible experience at this location. I requested my necklace to be cleaned. They refused to clean the chain because they said it wasn't "theirs." They also said my chain looked broken. Your associates insisted I buy a new chain and take home some jewelry cleaner. I requested they return my necklace to me because I felt so insulted and criticized by two of your associates. I will never spend a dime with Tiffany & CO after this experience. My fiance and I bought an engagement ring, 2 wedding bands, and a heart necklace from the sales associate named Conrad at the Tiffany's Old Orchard location. Conrad gave us the best customer service we could have ever asked for. He went out of his way to do a champagne toast with us after we bought our rings, he helped me when it came to getting my ring sized, and he gave great advice when it came to picking out my maid of honor's gift. He was so patient, and nice and fun to work with. The experience we had there was amazing. Then to top it all off, he even bought us a Tiffanys wedding gift - 2 champagne flutes with our wedding date engraved on them!! It was such an incredible surprise to receive such an awesome gift!! I've only had but pleasant experiences here at this particular T&Co. location. Located near Nordstrom's, this is a smaller version, but they still have a good variety of engagement rings, bracelets, earrings, watches, as well as dishware. I've come here several times for polishing some of our jewelry, and the staff has been always pleasant and friendly. They just need to check that it is a jewelry that was sold from T&Co., and that's it! They give you a time when your pieces will be ready, and I've never run into an issue where there was a delay. The pieces always look good as new, and comes in its little signature velvet pouch for safekeeping. Since Yelp in its infinite wisdom removed one of my reviews making my super special 1000 review now number 999 I decided that this is a significant and special place and deserves to be my new 1000. It is the site of my first "Tiffany's Silver" piece and also a place to which I return to regularly when in town. My original purchase here was the "return to Tiffany's" heart necklace. It still is by far one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. Every single time we walk in, we get the service expected of Tiffany's (take note Merrick Park store, you treat people as if they shouldn't be there).. most recently while purchasing a little something for my second daughter. Really every girl should have a little something from this place. She chose a "Return to Tiffany's" chain with a cute tag, not the traditional heart, you know the non traditional for the rocker child. Since we were traveling we didn't have it engraved but will do so here at home. The primary reason for this high rating is their customer service. I've shopped here probably three or four times for fine jewelry. On two of those occasions I was wearing a t-shirt and blue jeans. On another occasion, my first visit here, I was wearing a nice top coat, but I was soaking wet from meandering around this outdoor mall trying to find them. It was night and snowing heavily. Why is this notable? Well, because I've been to many "fine" establishments and was treated, or I should say, judged, by my appearance--for good and bad--both of which are undeserving. You should treat people by character and conduct, not clothes. When I'm wearing a suit and tie, I'm called sir and have the door held open for me. If, however, I've maybe been doing physical work in the sun, and I'm wearing my baseball cap, an old t-shirt and jeans, I'm sometimes ignored--even though I'm still me, just different in dress. Based on my experiences here, I very much appreciate the service at this Tiffany's location. They treated me like a very important client, as a gentleman, no matter how I looked or the truly naïve questions I asked about women's jewelry. I'm a regular beer and blue jeans kind of guy, and honestly, I'm not into shopping--at all--let alone for jewelry! Their staff has always offered me coffee, shown me anything I requested to view, which was not much, and most importantly, they treated all of my questions with genuine patience, respect, and importance. Based on how they made me feel, anyway, it didn't seem phony. They made me feel like an important guest, no matter how secretly nervous or embarrassed a dude like me was even to be there... I have been shopping at Tiffany's since I was a teenager. I have always been mezmerized by the stores. I have made a point to always purchase earrings and my wedding band and my wife's rings here. Even just recently bought a pair of diamond studs and gold hoops. This review is not against their jewelry. Nor is it against the sales people nor the general manager, who seemed genuinely hurt at the level of service I was subjected to from both this store and the New York offices. 1) My wife lost an earring. I went in before Xmas to have it replaced/matched with a pair. was told it would take weeks due to the holidays. Fair enough. 2) Got a quote in email format. A little high, but I immediately confirmed the order and was told it would be there by the end of the week. Didn,t make it. Fair enough; service always lags right after xmas. 3) Post comes in and we go in and the earring is flawed. The post is damaged. The customer clerk takes it to the back room and comes back with the post bent and completely unsusable. 4) I am not pleased as it seems to me that the management and QC would have examined the diamond and post to make sure it was the right one and that it was functional. Seems sort of a Jared move to not check the items and waste your customers time. 5) I am told that a RUSH will be put on it and that the diamonds will be back the following Friday. FOR SURE. 6) I get a follow up email that has the wrong SKU. I leave 4 messages to the customer clerk who never returns my call. I finally have to call New York to make sure that they do not replace the diamonds with the wrong SKU. (this was the SKU used on the purchase I made same day when I dropped the diamonds off) The difference was small but important. 7) I leave work Friday and get a voicemail that the earring isn't in as I arrive to Tiffany's but that they will eb in first thing SAT. I leave home Saturday only to be called an told no. 8) On Monday I get an email from Tiffany's that my earrings will be there first thing in the morning. and that they agree the SKU was wrong. 9) On Tuesday I get a call from the GM who tells me the email was wrong, but first thing Saturday. 10) I go in on Saturday, and the clerk who took my earrings is as rude as all get out. Her mistakes, prevarications, delays, etc made a simple pairing turn into a 1.5 month ordeal with me going to the store 4 times only to be told....ooops. This went on from Dec 22nd to February 11th 11) I do speak to the GM who is pleasant enough and sensitive to the amount of time they have wasted, but offers no solution to the botched worked. Already several days have passed and no follow up form the store to check on things or offer a work around. So, yes mistakes happen. Fair enough. Human error happens. But really 4 trips, numerous calls unanswered, wrong product codes, wrong dates, and rude on top of it.... just not my idea of trust building. Who knows what I got? They can't track time or check quality....who knows. BTW, when I needed a re- pairing of earrings the Oakbrook Store got it in 2 weeks and even got it to me downtown. Think I'll try Cartier. Again, this has nothing to do with their jewelry or sales people or GM. I still love tiffanys, just have a serious trust issue and don't think I got a quality repair to a re-pair of an earring for someone who means everything. read more

Looking for a statement necklace ( tired of my Cartier piece that I have worn for 15 years) and sales person Michael was attentive and even willing to clean two older Tiffany box chain pieces that have not seen much use. My daughter bought me a Tiffany Infinity circle necklace and the clasp is tiny.. Tiffany wants you happy with what you own so willing to add a lobster clasp to make it easier to put on or take off. If you are looking for classic styles that will stay in fashion go Tiffany. What woman doesn't like receiving turquoise velvet pouches in blue boxes with white bows. Let's start of by, I have been shopping with this location for many years. I come in to fix my necklace because duh it broke mind you it was fall time of 2013 and I broke it again tried to remix it again 3 weeks ago. The service lady told me that if it was within 1 year or less it's warranty under them still.......ok? Well when I get home I get an email stating it's going to cost $25 and change plus tax. Alrightttttttt I get to service again to pick it up and now she wants to tell me that that I fixed my chain back in 2011. I'm like wtf are you serious. I never came in then to fix it nor was it broken. This place is just a scam artist if you ask me. Never again will I be returning here on their false advertisement. SMFH!!!!! Could have been a 5 star review. Saturday morning, I walked into this Tiffany's location as I always do for special occasions. However, that day, I was not given a warm welcome from the firs two associates who saw me nor was I offered assistance. Maybe it was the way I was dressed but I am employed and ready to spend my money. Michael really saved the day for my initial experience and assisted me right away when I began to walk to the counters. He even noticed my ring from the Tiffany&Co. brand and noticed my girlfriend's accessories as well! Michael was very, very knowledgable and didn't force anything. I ended up making my purchase and I will return to this location for Michael's assistance. I hope he gets to read this as he deserved all the credit in the world for being knowledgable, personable and overall efficient. Terrible experience at this location. My sister and I went in to look at a necklace I was interested in and had to wait outside to be let in. A saleswoman (I can't remember her name) was hesitant to let us in but finally did when I told her about the necklace. She let us inside and showed us the necklace. I told her I just wanted to see it in person because I was interested in it for a Christmas present. Upon hearing that, the saleswoman snatched the necklace out of my hand and said "We are not open for browsing" and walked away. I purchased a pair of pearl earrings. One of the stems on the earrings bent, so I returned to receive a new pair. The associate assigned to assist me quickly carted me off to the back when she realized I was there for an exchange. I felt dismissed. I'd spent $600 plus on a pair of earrings the weekend prior and now I was being treated like a leper. I then waited for nearly 30 minutes while another associate tried to figure out how to order a new pair for me. I had to insist on a new pair versus getting them reissued which I felt was ridiculous given the Tiffany name and I'd only had the earrings for a week. I used to buy Elsa Peretti sterling silver collection from here. Obtainable and simple yet elegant jewelry for lady friends that hit the 21,25,30,35 etc The saying "every girl love little blue box." For me, all my current and former lady friends and GF, they never were into Tiffany. They like cheap jewelry that could be lost and not care for. Or they like antique stuff or just anti-Tiffany. LUCKY!!! I recently visited Westfield's Tiffany after a year or two of MIA. A very special lady b-day is coming up and I want Tiffany to be one of the gift for her. Had a great experience at Tiffany's here unlike the one at oak brook! Went here to exchange a necklace for a bracelet I have always wanted. The lady working there measured my wrist and said I needed two extra links added on. She said that it would be sent out to New York and be ready in two weeks. Great! When I went to oak brook mall Tiffany's they told me they were going to charge me $75 a link and I needed two so $150 would be added on to the price of the bracelet. Skokie Tiffany's did it for free with outstanding customer service unlike oak brook. Thank you so much! My husband and I walk in and no one would help us of course. Some stuck up lady said "some one will be with u" n took care of another guy and pretty much pushed us off to the side. I wanted to just walk out. Then a wonderful sales lady Laura Williams came up to us and helped us. Laura was so friendly and helpful and took time with us and showed us a few pieces we wanted to see. We bought some beautiful earrings. Unfortunately when I got home to try them on the stud was bent and just not right. Of course we went back to see what they can do. This time a couple of the stuck up sales girls that most likely make as much as a burger king employee but some how are better than everyone because they work at "Tiffany" ignored us completely while standing around. A minute or so later Laura came from the back room right up to us. I told her what happen with the earrings, she right away came up with a solution. She brought them in the back to the jewler and got them fixed right away. Laura is really the best employee they got. Maybe they should find and hire more people like her! My husband gifted me a beautiful necklace for a special birthday (online order), but it was a little too similar to another piece I already owned. We just decided to return at this location and shop for something different while at the store. The sales rep taking in the return said we needed to come back to the location with the blue paper gift box for return, despite the fact that we brought the necklace and the actual velvet jewelry box it came in with, which my husband had put in another gift box and wrapped for me. Her reasoning was that it's like "when you buy/return shoes, you need to bring shoe box." Had to go back home only to find the paper box in recycling, so I emptied out my own from previous purchase and drove over there the following day. For $3000 diamond necklace (Schlumberger® Lynn pendant diamond platinum), this service felt extremely cheap. Cheaper than any other shopping experience I've ever had. Needless to say, we did NOT shop for another jewelry there, not when we were there the first day, not when we drove back. It soured the excitement of special bday gift and holidays. Will never return to Tiffany. There are enough unique, local/etsy places to support, with better customer service. read more
