Unfortunately, my experience was a bit underwhelming. The main issue was the sauce - it was quite bland and there wasn't enough of it to enhance the flavors of the dish. Given the name "spicy," I expected a bit more kick and depth, but it fell short. The portion size was decent, but the lack of flavorful sauce made the overall dish feel lacking. On a positive note, the ingredients were fresh, and the variety of toppings added a nice texture. The Ahi tuna was really good and fresh. This update is for their Honeymee ice cream. I got the Matcha affogato and it was sooo good!! 5/5. I haven't never tried anything but their poke bowls here but this was such a wonderful surprise. I now want to try all the Honeymee flavors. The honey drizzle and the matcha was so good with the vanilla ice cream made of real milk. I stopped by while I was in a rush during my lunch break. I wanted something easy and quick to eat and ordered the spam musibi and salmon hand roll. The workers were nice and patient with me and it was comfortable sitting inside. The spam musibi is exactly what I expected. A little too much rice, but that's just how spam musibi is. This was a friends recommendation. This poke place is located in the plaza where Anjin is so be expected to have limited parking during their peak hours. If you are fan of poke, so there's not much to say about this except what is different. For starters, they have Yelp check in offer of free selected variety of cans ranging from Hawaiian drinks and classic sodas like Dr Pepper and such. If you are student (must show valid id e because they are super stingy about it), you get an additional 10% off. They do have handrolls and other dishes but the most popular is the spam musabi. You choose between three different ounces: 3, 4 and 6. The 3 oz is kid size and 6 oz is the largest. To be honest, you don't get a lot for 6 oz. You can't double on the protein in case there's something you don't like. You can select up to 5 different toppings and the rest cost extra. Spicy original is their hottest sauce and does tickle your throat if you are spicy lover. So at least that's somewhat true. Make sure you get all the toppings you ask for because I didn't get my ginger until I was searching for it. For toppings that don't cost extra, you can ask for more but either they don't put enough to seem look extra or they are just lying about it. Mine didn't get extra toppings even though the cashier (girl) said she would double it on the receipt (which she didn't btw). Was craving Hawaiian poke and decided to give this place a try. I made my own bowl and my boyfriend got the sweet and spicy yuzu bowl. The fish and all other ingredients they use are very fresh! I didn't feel like anything was "too fishy" or felt old. The sweet and spicy yuzu bowl was fresh and yummy! Having mango bites was intrresting but I feel it works. The sauce is definitely on the sweeter side with a veerry light kick. Not really spicy at all! Make your own bowl is also nice. I actually prefer the spicy ponzu sauce. I got half brown rice and half salad. I felt they added enough sauce to the fish because I definitely felt it soaked up the flavor. And it adds a nice dressing to the salad. I would definitely get the salmon over the tuna, but they allow you to mix fish as the price is based on the ounce of fish you order. (Check in on Yelp for a free drink) It's a walk up and order at the counter type of place. I tried the tiger wrap (mainly because the bowls were $16+ for what I thought was the same type of food). It was $8 and enough food for lunch. I really would have liked even just a little bit of seaweed salad inside of the wrap, but served as is it was still very tasty. It's also served with a spicy mayo dipping sauce. The poke tasted very fresh and the seaweed that it was wrapped in had a really nice crunchy texture. New favorite poke place! It looked so good, that. I forgot to take a picture before I took a bite. I love how they have cucumbers as a base, the shredded vegetables give it a refreshing taste. I'm usually not a huge fan of tuna but the tuna was amazing. The salmon was also very tasty. Everything tasted well prepared. The spicy mayo complimented the fish so well. The one positive was the staff, they were super sweet and the customer service was great! Unfortunately the food was pretty disappointing. The spam was generally overcooked and one of the three that we got was actually visibly burnt so they were all pretty tight and and the rice was dry as well which made the whole thing a bit hard to chew through.
