My friend and I popped in to check out Tiger's Den over the weekend. I used to live at The Pearl and goodness would this have been amazing to have this market there when I lived on the same block! You lucky KTown residents! It's a really nice space with a few tables inside if you want to eat right there in person. They have some hot foods to pick from including an Eel meal for $10 which felt cheap to me and of course i bought it. Loved it! Also in the hot foods section, we picked up some yakitori chicken which was plump and full of flavor. They didn't have a huge sushi selection of rolls when we went in but we did get some nigiri which was cut well, priced well and tasted incredibly fresh. My friend and I were very happy with the quality of their fish! They have a few condiments like sriracha & other sauces and also bags of rice for purchase. Some snacks like rice crackers and a few types of ramen, plus some clothing merch for sale. Staff was friendly when we were in, as well! We found a parking spot right outside on Wilshire. The only thing I was hoping for a bigger selection of hot foods and sushi, but it may have just been the timing when we went - around 2pm on Saturday. Overall good experience at Tiger's Den and I'm sure I'll be back!

Such a great new addition to the center of Koreatown. This spot completely exceeded my expectations. The grab-and-go bento box concept is incredibly convenient, especially when you want something quick without sacrificing quality. Their pre-made chirashi bowls and dons were unbelievably fresh, and you can immediately taste the quality of the seafood. The salmon was especially standout. Super fresh, buttery, and honestly some of the best I've had from a quick service concept. The warm dishes were just as impressive. The unagi don was perfectly prepared with an amazing sauce balance that made every bite satisfying. Beyond the food, I loved their imported Asian drinks selection, plus the endless variety of Asian snacks and gummies. We definitely left with more treats than we planned because it was impossible to resist. The interior design is also beautifully done. It has such a cozy, stylish atmosphere that feels more like dining in a thoughtfully designed home than a restaurant. It genuinely felt like relaxing in a living room while enjoying high quality food. The validated free parking for up to 90 minutes is also a huge plus, especially in Koreatown. Overall, this is the perfect quick lunch or casual meal spot, especially after an OrangeTheory workout next door or hitting the 24 Hour Fitness across the street. Fresh food, beautiful aesthetic, convenience, and great parking. I'll definitely be coming back often.

Something told me I had to check this place out, and I'm so glad I did. It gives cozy Japanese convenience store vibes with a really thoughtful setup. Tons of great grab-and-go options, but you can also sit down and enjoy your meal there. The interior feels modern and elevated without trying too hard, and the prices honestly surprised me in the best way. Great quality, very reasonable pricing, and something Ktown was missing. Bonus points for being kid-friendly too.

If you're looking for a place with great vibes, incredible food, and surprisingly affordable prices, this is the spot ! With high-quality dishes crafted by talented chefs and a stylish atmosphere that feels truly one of a kind in LA, it's the perfect place for a work lunch, a meal with friends, a quick but satisfying bite during the day, or even a special meetup with someone important.

Stopped by since it just opened -- the interior is super clean and stylish. Prices honestly surprised me (in a good way), but the quality is way better than you'd expect for that price. I've always liked Japanese sushi, so having a spot like this at this price point is a huge win. Definitely see myself coming back here often.

Best sushi marketplace in Koreatown. Simple, clean, and incredibly tasty -- this place is heaven.

So fresh and great price. Must try!!!

I've only ever ordered…read morefrom their "galley", which I think is what they call their kitchen, but I know they also sell raw seafood as well, in addition to a few other things in their small market. One of my favorite things to get at Fish King is the plate with the swordfish skewers. This dish is honestly so unique, and I haven't found anything like it anywhere else. It's basically two shish-kebab style sticks of seasoned swordfish, peppers, and tomatoes, and it's served with a few sides in addition to fried veggies and shrimp. I also really enjoy their tacos. They also have very generous servings of poke (I personally don't get the poke from here because it's already mixed in with raw onions and I don't like raw onion). Prices are all very reasonable--the swordfish plate I mentioned earlier is around $15 and a pretty large amount of food. Fish King does get pretty busy especially around mealtimes so it's better to order in advance and pick up so that you don't have to wait around as long. I think if you order in person, you can expect a 20-30 min wait when it's busy. There's a small lot on the side of the market and sometimes you can find street parking too. There are some tables on both ends of the market so you can dine in, it's very casual.

They know everything about their fish and even the things they sell that you want to use to make your fish. The place is always clean and fresh smelling. The prices are very fair. The wait for service is never long. They have the best salmon and white fish around. They clearly get fresh fish daily. We have never had a bad experience. They even have a place to eat and they make prepared food for you. It is wonderful. Parking is easy and the staff is the best so have fun and go there. You will not be disappointed.

Everyone was super nice. One of the employee employees from the back explained why they didn't have Dungeness crab and he was super sweet about it. And then the cashier in the front was very helpful with the recommendations. Instead, I got 2 pounds of crawfish in one of their sauces. Dude, they're crawfish are so fresh and fat. There's limited parking in the back of the building and only big enough for smaller compact cars. They have several buckets of fish sitting on ice chips, lining the middle of the store. A couple live tanks against the wall. Decent variety. When I was choosing my fish from their ice buckets, I thought they looked a little extra slimy but against my better judgment just gave it a shot anyway. Took my catfish to the kitchen to request it be fried. Within a couple hours of eating, I got the worst food poisoning I've had in a very long time. This was such a disappointing experience and now I'm sick as a dog. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
