The food is fantastic and the service is great and the ambiance is great hope to see you there

    Unordered, unwanted chicken.

We are vegetarian so TJF USED to be a great option. HOWEVER... The idiots in the kitchen can't seem to follow the simplest order... More than once we have ordered nachos... Cheese, lettuce, black beans... However, they apparently don't think we know what we want because they continue to add things... LIKE CHICKEN! We even checked the order tonight and it looked fine. However... When we got home we discovered a layer of checked under the layer of lettuce! Another $30 down the drain... You complain they give you a voucher but if 85% of the time the order is wrong, vouchers are worthless.

Always a great time at my favorite Taco spot! This location on Seminole Blvd south of Ulmerton has the best sweet tea! The guest service is top notch as well. Free taco today thanks to the Tampa Bay Rays! Thank you Michael Beal Clearwater, Florida

"Steak" quesadilla "with everything". More like a cheese quesadillas with nothing but one bite of steak.

We had just moved into our apartment. We were tired and hungry. The three of us ordered two chimichangas and a quesadilla. No drinks, no extras. I paid $38.51 and based on that amount, I expected a decent meal... at least a decently SIZED meal. Nope. What came to us barely filled the bottom of our black styrofoam to-go containers. Actually... it DIDN'T fill the bottom. Our chimichangas took up the space in the center like an island swimming in a puddle of orange queso and two handfuls of chips were thrown in as filler. My husband's quesadilla was 4 pieces of cheese and flour tortilla with a sparse smattering of steak pieces. Oh, and when they say "do you want those to come with everything", they really just mean a tub of shaved iceburg lettuce, maybe a tablespoon of onion, a couple dots of red that must be tomato, and two or three slices of jalapeño. But really mostly iceberg lettuce. Lamest meal I've had in a while and a huge disappointment after a long day of moving. I was still quite hungry after and am going to bed that way. Almost $40 was a waste.

Would love to give zero stars. Ordered through DoorDash and this is what a $15 steak chimichanga looks like

I seriously like the food and the service but whoever decides on the sauces needs to learn about Mexican Food and salsa. They did finally come up with a spicy roasted type sauce that I thought was finally close until I saw the 99 cents on the receipt for2-3 tablespoons of sauce. The taco meat is skimpy compared to other locations but the new cheesy crunchy Burrito was a keeper.

Joined their rewards program and received a free Tijuana Trio appetizer, guacamole, queso, salsa and chips, very good. Ordered a beef queso crunchy burrito which is huge, actually makes two meals for me and the sweet tea is always fresh, I'm very picky about fresh tea. Staff is very friendly, polite and did a great job refilling drink & making sure everything was good. Clean restuarant, do a good job with all the Covid requirements, tables have sanitized cards on them so no guessing which ones to use. Feel very comfortable dining in. Tables provided for the pick up orders, makes it quick and easy to come in and pick up your called in order.

Really authentic and awesome for sit in or take out! Defiantly a better alternative to say Taco Bell or something of that sort.

Have only come for Taco Tuesday but what a great place for some very tasty mexican food. I really…read morelike their salsa and my son likes their queso (although it is a little bit thin). I also have tried their Enchiladas which I like chicken verde and try them everywhere. Theirs are very meaty and great sauce flavor. Inside is a bit run down and drank (and maybe it is for sale) but we will still be back to try more food.

SOLID 5 STARS! Do…read morenot judge a book by its cover! This location is a converted motel. Senor Taco takes up rooms 1, 2 and 3. I have noticed this place for years and there are always cars out front when they're open. I've also noticed that a lot of the people going in and out are Mexicans. Now I know why. This place is authentic! It is a cheerful little Mexican restaurant with knickknacks brought across the border by the owners and proudly displayed everywhere there's room. I was greeted by Mama Nina as soon as I walked through the door and told to sit anywhere I liked. I was immediately served with chips, salsa, hot sauce, a large glass of ice water, and a menu. Mama Nina saw my interest in the little house plaques behind the register and proudly pointed out her favorite. The salsa is smooth and easy to pick up with the paper thin homemade chips. Neither salsa nor chips were too salty. A lot of places will serve you salty chips and salsa so that you will drink more. Señor Taco isn't trying for the cheap sale. This is the real deal. I immediately ordered Guacamole and Chips ($10.99). The guacamole is obviously homemade, had just the right amount of spice, and was topped with a sprinkle of pico de gallo, instead of having it mixed into the guacamole. Easily matched the best guacamole I've ever had. For my entrée, I ordered the fajita trio ($29.69). This was also the best fajitas I've ever had. Large slices of steak, chicken, and perfectly grilled shrimp, smothered in green and red peppers and onions. Brought out on a hot metal plate with a wooden under plate and still sizzling from the grill. You can see the steam in the photo. A separate plate held yellow rice, scoops of sour cream and guacamole, two different kinds of cheese, lettuce, and pico de gallo. The beans were served in a small crockpot because it was almost like a soup! I mixed the rice with the beans and ate it with the spoon provided. There were easily enough mixings to make 8 fajitas but I was only given 3 flour tortillas, although I'm sure I would have been served more if I asked. There was no way I could eat everything on the table. When I was full Mama Nina deftly packaged my leftovers to go. This was easily the best Mexican meal I have had here in Florida. Well worth the $50 including generous tip. There is a business for sale sign in the window. I hope they are moving to a better location. It always surprises me to find excellent restaurants in little out of the way holes in the wall. I'll be back!

After church on Sunday, we looked for a place we had not tried yet. We landed on El Huarache Azteca…read moredue to the good reviews and ratings. And it was on the way home. Our foursome arrived and waited a few minutes and grabbed the only open table. The place is wonderful and nicely decorated. Even the tables have Mexican art on theme. It was crowded with most Mexican families, which was a great sign. We were brought drinks and looked over the menu. Tortilla chips were brought and Salsa. I asked for Hot Salsa and it had a nice heat to it. I ordered Queso Blanco for the chips. I had read some negative reviews of the Queso but it was great. Took a bit, they were full of patrons, so we needed a refill of chips in the meantime. While waiting I took some pictures of the dining rooms, a lot of interesting items around. Our oldest daughter ordered a pound the Bistec Steak, with some flour tortillas. Our youngest daughter ordered the Steak Fajitas. My wife got her usual Burrito. I prefer the Chilis Relleno that are breaded and fried, most just cover with sauce, and theirs were breaded so my choice. Our meals came after a bit. The Fajitas were very good and came with a large jalapeno that was nicely fiery. The Burrito was good, just wish I could convince her to try other things. My Chilis Relleno were very good, but too much sauce over theme took away the crispness of the fried batter. Tasted good though. The pound of Bistec Steak was the big hit. It was delicious, we all tried a bite. Next time I think we will get a couple pounds for the table, which should feed four people easily - as long as my 16 year old grandson in not along. Great food, good service, amazing atmosphere. Recommended.

We had tacos, enchiladas, and burritos with various fillings. The rice and beans were bland and not presented well. I think some lettuce and sour cream could be added. My fruit margarita was nothing to write home about, and since we chose Mexican for that, it was a disappointment. The flight, however, proved oddly, entertaining. It comes in a hollowed out wooded airplane and is carried out with great presentation by the entire staff, all of whom are costumed up. Music rocks the house and guests are treated to some exotic dancing as each server performs. Many have great moves! But I was left to wonder how they felt about that part of the job. My friend said there was liquor in her flight drinks. We had dessert, and like the rest of the food, it was decent but nothing outstanding. Service was attentive. The place is airy and bright. There is a bar and seating there. A 3.5.
