Food was good and they have a decent variety. Lengua and carne asada were particularly tasty. There's a tank of beans by the salsa bar, and you can fill up a cup with your meal. I asked if we could have a container with a lid instead of a cup since we were ordering to-go for a large group, but they said takeout containers are extra. It wasn't a big deal since I didn't think that many people wanted beans anyway, but it just seemed a touch excessive. Bear in mind there's an extra charge for debit/credit. read more

Tijuana's Tacos is one of the top 5 places to get some real, authentic, cheap, filling and amazing tasting Mexican food! I am obsessed with their spit roasted al pastor, the menu is so extensive, I usually get a ton of different tacos and fill them up with the tasty salsas they offer, as well as pickled veggies and the best part is the grilled veggies they give you with every order! Food is great. I'll start with that. Service, however, awful! We arrived at 743 pm and waited all the way til 823 pm to get our food. Place isn't too busy, at least not busy enough to justify a 40+ minute wait per order. Cashier was rude to start. No eye contact too busy picking at her acrylic nails. She mixed up a few orders and one guy ended up having his food given away to someone who just walked in and didn't even order!! The condiments are all near empty.. the free beans? None there. I visit this place about once a week and they've remained consistent. It kind of hurts that the other reviewer did not share the same experience that I have had here. I have tried every item on their menu, including the lengua, and will put my stamp on everything. I can't stress just how legit this place is. I mean for me to come up to Riverside on a weekly basis just for tacos is insane. Less than 5% of my reviews end in a 5-star rating so I take this rating thing very seriously. Every time I'm here I'm the only non-Mexican. The cashier and I know each other on a first name basis. I've eaten here over 2 dozen times and have never found a hair in any of my food, so don't stress that. And as far as the meat being greasy, what do you expect? This is one of the few taco joints in riverside that has close to TJ style tacos. They do a pretty good job at serving the tacos well and their meats have a great taste as well. Every order comes with an optional cup of side beans that you can serve yourself and let me tell you they're delicious. In the past, fried onions and jalapeños were free but now they charge which kind of sucks but we can blame inflation for that. My biggest pet peeve at this place is how dirty the dinning area usually is. They need to do a better job at picking up after tables once they have been used. read more

My family and i ordered 2 taco locos , 2 mulitas asada and tj dog. It took almost an hour , but they were busy. Still bacon was literally raw on 1 side like they didn't flip it and the hot dog still cold too. Every thing else was greasy greasy, i mean like tortilla drenched and plate dripping with grease . I'm not sure if they always do business like this all the time but i watched the 2 cooks handle everyones orders with their bare hands and just didn't seem to not care about how the food turned out or being sanitary at all. The TACO INDIO is definitely my favorite (carne asada, al pastor, cheese, nopales, guacamole, onions and cilantro all on one tortilla) YUM!! Definitely recommend that one. Plus all your orders come with grilled nopales, onions and peppers (So good!) The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because of the cleanliness of the dining area, I always order to go. Tacos! Who doesn't love tacos? :P I used to go to the location in Pomona off of Holt but this location is much cleaner and friendlier! It's located off of Arlington/Van Buren in a shopping center with a few small businesses. You'll find it in the corner facing Arlington. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Claudia who was cleaning the counter and making sure the salsas were well stocked. All the tables were clean and the floor was spotless with no straw wrappers. The tv was tuned to a soccer game so you'll never miss a thing :P When time to order came, Claudia explained what the quesotaco was (genius!) and named the flavors of agua frescas available.
