Indian restaurant located in the food court next to Panda Express. They offer naan tacos, meat and veggie curries, biryani and sides like samosas, fries and laasi. They did make the chicken dishes fresh so it will take a bit longer to get the food compared to other places in the food court I opted for the curry platter for $9.99 that came with rice, mint sauce, side salad, half naan and my choice of protein. DON'T GO TO NON-INDIAN RESTAURANTS FOR INDIAN FOOD. These guys are cheating ppl. Samosa picture on the menu is way enlarged but in reality they are fucking MICRO samosas, not even mini. Change the damn menu to reflect micro samosa 3 for $3.49 instead of calling them samosa. These micro samosas are sold for $3.49 for 50 pieces (frozen) in pretty much all Indian grocery stores. Owner has the audacity to say that he did not set the prices. Stop cheating and lying. Damn it. Chicken biryani is nowhere close to a biryani. I've been going here for nearly a decade, but I'm honestly not sure if I'll come back after the last time. I brought our Chicken Tikka Masala home, and my wife said it tasted funny. It was the rice. It smelled very, very bad. I called and they offered a refund. It was harder to tell with the chicken, sauce, and veggies covering it, but once we dumped our two servings in the trash, the smell filled the kitchen and we had to take the trash out immediately. I have a hard time imagining whoever filled up my container had no idea what they were serving because that rancid smell was overwhelming. And the garlic naan was tough and stale as well, which has been a hit-or-miss issue the past few times I've gone there. I know COVID has been hard on restaurants, and I'm not trying to rag on Tikka because I've loved the food for a long time, but there needs to be more care in the food prep so stuff like this doesn't happen. read more

I'm a sucker for the chicken tikka masala fries. Unfortunately they were much better at the previous location we frequented. The oil always tastes old here. Tried Tikka and got the chicken masala bowl with rice and an order of the garlic nan everything was really good and came out quick. I would have liked the dish to be hotter/spicier but I'd definitely eat here again. I'm going to ask next time if they can make it hotter for me. read more

Ive always wanted to try this place but then end up going with something familiar like Panda Express or Albertos. This time, Panda Express was closed so i opted for Tikka. And I'm so glad i did! I stumbled upon this place driving home from a wedding & what a great it was. I was first drawn because of its ratings on yelp, but then a little put off by it being in the food court. They do need to update their menu, but I won't ding them for that (even though there were a few things that weren't available). My Mum got the Dahl bowl (which she also loved), and I wound up getting the Tiki Masala Fries & wow, I honestly neither one of us could get enough of those. They were SO good, maybe the best Masala I've ever had. This place is about an hour away from my house, but I will be driving back to get more one day in the future because they are seriously that good. read more

Had the shrimp tikka bowl and mint lemonade. Was too hungry to take photos but it looked exactly like the other photos suggest and I was pleased with the taste. The sauce was delicious, shrimp cooked well, but I ran out of shrimp after a few bites and still had a lot of rice to go. The naan was pretty good, I liked that it was soft. The mint lemonade was not the best I've had but flavorful nonetheless and refreshing. I will definitely go back to try other tikka bowls. read more

I used to go to this spot once/twice a month for over a year once I discovered it in Claremont. During some time when I haven't gone in a while, to my surprise the place closed and I was disappointed knowing it'll be very hard to find another great place like it anywhere else. Well forward to two years later I randomly discovered it again and found out it moved to VG. We ordered chicken tika masala platter (ordered spicy) and beef briyani (spicy). Chicken Tika masala like the other reviews here was bland, runny, and had few pieces of white chicken which tasted chewy and bland as if it was old or cooked by boiling. The curry was more yellowish looking than traditional orange, which is how it was in the Claremont location. The rice was good, it's briyani rice and that's the only thing that didn't change. Even though we ordered spicy, this dish was a disappointment. Salad had questionably stale greens which I didn't want to risk eating. Beef briyani was similar story. Same bland briyani platter thats not even mild spiciness, and beef chunks were small and scarce. Same bad salad. They also forgot a side item I ordered so we had to go back to get it. It wasn't even busy there. We were only customers! We came back again to give this place another shot. Different people in the front, so we thought it would go better. Ordered chicken tika masala fries and beef briyani. Again specifically mentioned spicy and the two guys confirmed it could be made spicy. Again we were disappointed by the bland food which was mild in flavor. This never ever happened in Claremont and it was much busier hangout spot! We have it another If you're the owner reading this, I'm going to tell you you're not going to to last long at this rate if you don't invest more time doing quality control with your cooks and improve customer service. read more

I have to say, I was skeptical eating in the food court of the mall but Tikka definitely has it going on restaurant style. So at first glance the pictures in front of the menu grab your attention, first picture being of the Chicken Tikka Masala Fries... so that's what I ordered. Wow, what a modern spin, I was impressed.
