Very disappointed with Tikka. I've had this place bookmarked for a while now and was looking forward to trying it. My dad went to pick up our order after calling ahead. When he got there, he was told that they did not have his order. After asking a few questions, my dad was told that they had given our order away to someone else. He then had to wait 15 more minutes for them to remake the order. The whole point of calling ahead was to avoid having to wait for them to make the order, so that was an inconvenience. Aside from the poor service, the food was honestly nothing worth writing home about. My beef gyros were very salty, and I found myself reaching for water after every bite. Pretty good food at this place. I ordered the beef tikka and I asked for it to be spicy but didn't notice much spice at all. That could just be me though because I like a pretty extreme spice level. The flavor was on point though, plenty of sauce and enough for me to have two meals. The garlic naan was really good, thin and with a bit of a crunch which I'm not used to but I really enjoyed. My only complaint about it was that while it was some of the best naan I've had, it was also by far the smallest portion I've ever seen by far. Overall I'll be back if I'm in the area. Wait was a bit longer than I would have liked, but it looked like they made it to order. The wait was ultimately worth it though. Pretty sure I finished my dish in under 20 minutes. (Through the Yelp app, you can order online and have your food ready for pick up.) Both the meals were kind of big; hubby could finish one bowl, however, for me, it was worth 2 meals.
