i am a terminally ill veteran i went to purchase a vehicle at tim short mitsubishi on wilma rudolf bld clarksville tn i was shown a few cars the salesman found this 2023 chysler pacifica touring l on the lot it was gun metal grey i liked the way it looked so ee test drove it and it had a horrendous smell so i mentioned it they blew it off as something that could be deep steamed out . so i said let get it cleaned i liked the car we left i came back in later that night and smell was still there a little like it was masked partially. well day came for us to close the next day and it was really masked so this terminally ill veteran pays down payment and finshes the deal but stipulares if this smell is still a problem we will need it taken care of they agreed. i take van home wake up next morning and the smell is horrible imgulf war veteran and im already senstive to smells so we take next two days investigating the smell we look under seats that fold into floor and all over funally i narrow smell down to a location its behind or around the front passengers seat . we started doing deeper dive finally i find were seat folds into car a little cup like spot and it has what apoears to be hardened wax like yellow substance as i got closer i knew we foud the smell i started vomiting my wife did as well . we scraped what appears to ve hard puke from somebody we get the area cleaned call dealership and they dont believe us so after 24 hours after our deep cleaning we wake up and notice even after 4 to 5 straight hours of cleaning which we have video and picture evidence we start lookong for what could be causing that smell to still be there afterall we deep cleaned at least 4 times now and sanitized area yet its still there !.well this is were it get really disgusting we started to realize that was probably human vomit and probably wasnt all of it.so again we started investigating we discovered that the puje rand down all over behind the plastic floor boards and magets were all over again we have video and pictures the puke myst have been there for atleast weeks if not more. we contacted tim short afain they took vehicle back kept it for 4 days claimed smell cleaning and. new carpet was installed by area in front .a d i could come pick it up they psid for lisner for this otherwise i couldnt have gotten it done . eing terminally ill veteran i cant be without a car and because of that reason i didnt just give up on the van we picked you see i was facing surgery on my heart and knew i was going to have to decide if tennessee was doing surgery or the doctors who saved me 14 years ago in michigan were going to do operation and i needed reliable car to move family possibly i also have 2 of my adult autistic kuds i take care of with my wife . so after the whole ordeal i go get my van back new carpet installed and i can tell thry did because the carpet is pulling out in ma y places not very professional job . but i needed car now we have now made decession to make the move to michigan to try to save my life . mthe dealership was aware that a safe reliable car was what i was after through the whole process . read more

My son is in the military, just got back from a tour overseas, he decided to look at some cars, he was NOT looking to buy, he is a minor and Do NOT have a driver's license yet! But YES, he is serving his country! These people literally forced him in to getting a car, with a predatory lending method. Because they realized he did not have a license, they made him, put the vehicle under his friend's name, my son as a co signer, with a 30% interest rate, plus they added as many extra insurances they could! The next day my son went back to the dealership, and told him, he did NOT wanted the car, to take it back. And the Manager Hall Mathews, lied to my son telling him that in the State of Tennessee is illegal to return the vehicle! And that they couldn't do that because the bank already had the paperwork. We called the Bank, Santander, the bank said to talk to the dealership and to tell them to reverse the loan, because they do NOT have anything as of yet, and it will take between 30 to 60 days for them to actually originate the loan. We call Mr Mathews again and told the what the bank told us, mind you, we called the bank several.times, to make sure the information was correct. Mr Matthew said the bank was "LYING" and he was NOT going to reverse the loan, and that there was Nothing we could do, because he had been doing this for 20+ years. We told him, reverse the loan with Santander and let's go with Navy Federal, so he does not lose the sale. At this point it's being 5 days of this situation, we already alerted the military base about this predatory lending/sales extorsion practices! I confirmed with YOU that you had 4 cars on your lot before we drove 3.5 hours to your dealership, boarded dogs and DROVE 3 and a half hours. I get there and we were told that you told the sales rep we were there to look for a new car. We did want to compare and he did a good job of selling the benefits so we took a test drive. We get back and ask to see the other cars and was hit with well they are not available. WHAT! 1. Oh we keep that one at the AIRPORT so the owner can use it when he comes in. Then why is it listed for sale?!?!? And I guess the sales person forgot that he said the owner was there today. How can the owner be there and the car he uses not be?!? 2. Oh the battery is messed up on that one. Then replace it. It's a special battery. Does your service department not keep special Mitsubishi batteries in stock? Go to Autozone!!!!! 3. I bought a car from them and right when I got it tagged it has a leaking front cv axle and my front differential is leaking as well they did clarify the radio was broke but swore it would be covered by the warranty shocker it's not and not to mention the fact that the warranty is a pain to deal with he didn't even show me a printout of what the warranty would cover it did have new tires new brakes I'm not sure on the coolant but most of it leaked out anyways so it's fresh now read more

They told me that I won over the phone and then I drove an hour to get there and they told me on the flyer it says just because it says you win according to the flyer, it doesn't mean you win. Condescending and incompetent staff. Initially came to get my software updated in my outlander. Service manager I think some woman with raspy voice was snippy/rude with the nice service guy that checked my car in- unprofessional imo to do, esp in front of customers. They had me in and out and the again the guy who checked me in was very polite. He advised me of a free oil change I was privy to, as my just bought my car. So, a little less than a month later, I came to get my FREE oil change. They checked me in and said np and offered tire rotation at a minimal cost claiming blah blah blah. Ok fine. Welp! Time to check out, guess what this so-called free oil change was not so free and the math was not mathing. So, I am trying to check out and realized they charged for I guess the filters etc. The cashier apparently did not understand basic math, so the older woman with raspy voice (who checked me in) came over and to be frank, was condescending and a complete and utter "hctib". Here I am just trying to pay and she is on the side of me saying pretentious things, forming her hands in a praying stance, saying "please forgive me I am so sorry" very insincere and rude. Saying that all oil changes charge for this. Um maam that's all and fine, but I asked beforehand how much and was under the impression FREE means just that, FREE. WTF world do you live in??? Seriously. Lucky for her, I have worked hard for what I have and was not risking my freedom to knock her unprofessional self out. All I simply wanted was transparency and honesty. I purchased a vehicle and an extended warranty from this business, and brought my vehicle to them for scheduled maintenance. A week ago I paid for a diagnostic test at the Kia place this business instructed me to, and had to pay for that. The findings were that the engine was consuming excessive oil, or oil was being placed in the wrong area. A few days later, while driving, my vehicle starts driving funny, I pull over, have vehicle towed back to Kia, call selling dealership to inform them. I start warranty claim, Tim Short Mitsubishi just on the 16th of December sent over necessary paperwork to warranty company. The process is at a stand still because in order for Kia to do any repairs, they need to do a combustion cleaning that is $1000, and that is not covered in the extended warranty unless repairs are being done. Technically if Tim Short Mitsubishi was servicing the vehicle and doing the maintenance oil changes, they should rightfully cover the cleaning in order for me to be on the road to having my vehicle fixed, instead of saying it's out of their hands after they were the only ones doing maintenance on my vehicle. This has been a troublesome process with this business. At this point I want to inform people of how this company does business and let people know that the company they're pushing for an extended warranty is very low class, and not worth it. At this point the only resolution is for Tim Short Mitsubishi to cover any necessary testing in order for my vehicle to be repaired, instead of trying to get around it. read more

While I was looking at the SUV in the showroom I saw a young blond girl up at the desk at the front of the store. She was swaying back and forth to the music playing in the showroom when an older Hispanic man walked past her and smacked her on her butt.  When looking at your website later I saw that he is your General Sales Manager. Don't ever go here no matter what. Anywhere else. I bought a used 2013 f150 with 79000 miles. A fair price and I took it after a quick test drive. I drove it home that day and all was fine. I get insurance and then drive it the next day for the second time to a grocery store two miles away. On the dash, brake fluid warning popped up. There is already a break fluid leak of some sort, the second time ever driving it. Absolutely unacceptable and dangerous. read more

I bought a 2018 Silverado from Tim Short Mitsubishi, I was satisfied with the price of the truck and the amount they gave me for my trade. The salesman-Richard- was friendly and patient. The finance guy will shove a useless extended warranty down your throat. I declined the extended warranty 3 separate times to only have him tell me that I was approved for a lower interest rate but I'm required to buy an extended warranty. I've since learned this was total horse sh!t, my fault for falling for it I guess. I'm canceling the useless warranty today. He tried to convince me the extended warranted was great because what if the $2000 radio breaks... in the fine print of the warranty you will find where it doesn't cover radio, speakers or any audio. I scheduled an appointment to test drive a truck. I scheduled it Friday afternoon for Monday after work. The sales representative sent me a text Friday to confirm. I get there 4 minutes prior to the time I said I would and let the representative know I'm there and get told to come on in via text message. Another sales person goes to alert the one I've been texting I'm there. He then comes back and lets me know the truck was sold. No big deal, things happen and I waited several days to come see it. Now the reason for the 1 star is where was the courtesy of texting me, clearly they had my number, to let me know the truck was sold and I never even saw the person I was talking to. I rushed getting off work to get there. Fortunately, it was only about 20 minutes of a wasted trip, but what if I had driven from out of town to look at this particular vehicle and no one could treat someone with respect and alert them to not come or show them other options in advance. I was advised that this was not due to me at the contract sign. I advised the lack of second set of keys were not disclosed after the signing. The buying experience was great up until we got to the finance office and the salesperson snuck in a $4,500 service package that, turns out, doesn't cover anything. As well, it wasn't communicated with us that the tires that came on the car did not come with road hazard service. This is important because we're being told now that an obvious tire failure was actually caused by a road hazard .. when I didn't hit anything. Now, we're being "offered" 2 choices. Option 1 is the exact same tire, no road hazard coverage.. option 2 is also the exact same tire, but it does come with road hazard coverage. So of course, I'm wondering why didn't the tires I bought the car with come with road hazard coverage? Because now, I've got less than 6500 miles on the car and am having to buy a brand new tire because there's no arguing with these people. Other issues with the car include door seals and the painting chipping off. I bought this car with 13 miles on it in February 2022 and have loved Mitsubishis my whole life. That said, my experience with Tim Short Mitsubishi has turned me away from them forever. I recommend literally any other dealership than this one. This place is a joke. I thought all was fine. Purchase was great, experience was great. Then, three months later my brakes started acting up. Turns out they KNEW it and simply covered it all up as well as stripping out a part in the caliber which ALL had to be replaced including resurfacing of roaters and new brake pads (they had installed cheap ones on already bad roaters). Basically, they screwed up the brakes and they knew they did it and that by the time I started seeing problems it would be 2-3 months down the road. Luckily, I took an extended warranty and that covered some but I was without a car a week and out another $400 thanks to them. Do NOT trust them. My brakes could have failed from all the damage they knew about before they started making a noise and the ABS light came on. These people are a joke. To boot, I recall having to stop fast in the test drive as a car pulled out in front of me. The salesman said "well, the brakes work". I thought nothing of it at the time. Thought he was being funny. Took a picture, sent it to them and they said they'd replace our tire! Drove 35 miles to get a new tire! Was told no, we'd have to pay because they'd have seen that during inspection!
