Pumpkin Curry with Tofu - Large piping hot portion, but unfortunately not a lot of tofu and not as tasty as I had hoped.
    Aaa T.

Went here on a weekday for lunch. Very clean, friendly and fast/efficient service. Food came out piping hot, large portions too. Every team member was so friendly, helpful and attentive. Restaurant was steadily busy despite being after the main lunch hour rush. I ordered tofu pumpkin curry and tofu pad see ewe with a bowl of white rice. I've had much tastier items in other Thai restaurants but because the service and portion sizes were so wonderful, bumping up the rating to 4 stars. Normally, I would rate my items only as 3 stars. I also felt that the tofu portion vs. meat was lower than normal so I was disappointed that both dishes didn't have much tofu at all. I would still return if I was in the area craving Thai food, but wish that my 2 dishes were more flavorful. Thank You for the wonderful lunch and fast, friendly service! :0)

Came here on a Friday around 6:30pm. When we first walked in, the restaurant was empty. That worried me at first. We were seated right away and serviced promptly. The restaurant quickly filled up shortly after that. Restaurant is cozy with real Thai people operating the restaurant. Roti Prata - 5/5: these were crispy with less oily texture than others I have tasted. Great flavor served with curry dipping sauce. Pad Thai noodles with Fried chicken - 4/5: solid pad Thai noodles with the right level of sweetness and tanginess. Chicken was crispy but could have used more seasoning in the batter. Was a solid dish. Mango sticky rice - 3.5/5: rice was good but mango was tart. I may have been ruined by the last time I was in Thailand where every mango I had was perfectly sweet. Overall, solid Thai spot without the crazy crowds of some other local spots. Will add to my list of regular go to spots for dinner.

We tried the spicy basil fried rice (chicken) and the pad thai fried chicken. spicy basil fried rice (w/ chicken) - 8/10, the overall flavor of the fried rice was delicious. had a strong basil flavor and good spice. my only critique is that the rice was a little on the mushy-wet side. but very good flavoring. pad thai fried chicken - 6/10, the pad thai was a little too sweet for me but had a great tangy tamarind taste. the chicken definitely helped balance the dish as it was crispy and had great seasoning. moreover, my only critique is that the noodles were a little too al dente --could have been cooked a bit longer. Staff were very friendly and attentive and food was served quickly. The restaurant itself is clean and has a simple, modern look. Overall, food was decent for price point and portion sizes were big!

I found this place on Yelp and wanted to try it for Father's Day. This spot is cute but on the smaller side. I knew I wanted brunch, so I ordered the bottomless mimosas right away! I love that their brunch has complimentary mini pancakes for kids. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffles were spectacular but the chicken could have been seasoned more. Next time, I would definitely order by the glass instead of doing the bottomless.

Came here for Friday night dinner around 7pm for party of two. We had a short wait maybe 5-10 min. Parking was okay, not a lot of spaces but was able to park in the back on the gravel. The restaurant was full wi the people waiting and lots of door dash orders. We only tried the beef noodle soup aka Thai boat noodle. Boy was it good and very authentic! The broth was light, slightly sweet, flavorful and not super thick. It was dark and still rich from the beef blood even though broth was light. We have gone all over to try and fine Thai boat noodle and there aren't a lot of Thai places that serve it since there's so many pho places. Theirs was delicious, decently priced and as good as the ones you can get a the wats or Thai temples. Def want to come back and try more menu items including the fried chicken! I'm so excited I found this spot for go to Thai boat noodle!

Their fried chicken is a must order!!! Highly recommend getting a side order of that ($10) with anything that you order especially as a big group or just for yourself too. I think this is the best thing on their menu. Enjoyed with rice and egg, the dish is called THE BECK. Other things on the menu are okay, but the fried chicken is definitely the star of the show.

Unfortunately, I had a really disappointing experience at Thai Time Chicken, and the food was honestly the least of my concerns, the service was what really ruined the experience. When I first walked in, I stood there awkwardly for about 5-10 minutes without being greeted or acknowledged. Eventually, a shorter female server came over and led me to a table, but there was still no greeting, "How are you?", or any kind of welcoming interaction. It felt very cold and strictly transactional from the beginning. I ordered the roti, chicken, and pad Thai. The roti was oily and soggy rather than crispy, came with barely any curry sauce, and lacked flavor. I honestly regretted ordering it. The chicken and pad Thai looked beautiful when they arrived, but unfortunately the taste did not match the presentation. The pad Thai had almost no actual pad Thai flavor... it was essentially just saucy noodles without much seasoning or flavor. The chicken was incredibly crispy on one side, but unfortunately soggy on the other, which was especially disappointing because I was really looking forward to the chicken. However, the service was by far the worst part of my experience. I noticed that the server was pouring water for the other customers, but never once poured water for me. I eventually had to ask for it myself, and she still didn't bring me water after that. I also asked the male server for a spice rack, and both times I interacted with him, it felt as though I was inconveniencing him just by asking for something. Water and a spice rack are extremely normal requests at a restaurant, especially at a Thai restaurant. What made me feel particularly uncomfortable was that I wasn't even halfway finished with my meal when a box was brought to me and I was asked to pay. Meanwhile, I could see other customers who appeared to be further along in their meals being allowed to sit, eat, and enjoy their food without being rushed. At that point, I genuinely started wondering why I was being treated so differently. I don't want to make assumptions about someone's intentions, but as a Black customer, the difference in treatment made me feel singled out and discriminated against. I left feeling judged, unwelcome, and honestly just uncomfortable. I'm not expecting servers to be overly friendly or to constantly check on me, but I do expect basic courtesy and equal treatment. A simple greeting, being offered water, being allowed to finish my meal without feeling rushed, and being treated respectfully when I make a normal request shouldn't be too much to expect. Sadly, the food was mediocre and the service made the entire experience even worse. I left feeling like the restaurant simply didn't want me there. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously, because no customer should leave a restaurant feeling this way.

This is my new favorite Thai spot in the East Bay!! The interior is super cute and modern (recently remodeled) and there's a convenient parking lot right behind the restaurant. What we ordered: - Fried chicken basil rice bowl w/ fried egg: SOOOO GOOD. Sweet, savory, perfect balance, and the portions are generous. This one's a must-order. - Pad Kee Mao: good! I wish the noodles were a bit chewier, but not bad at all. - Tom yum noodle soup: AMAZING. Genuinely one of my favorite dishes that I can never find done right, and this one nailed it. The broth is packed with flavor and the portions are massive. Get this. - Roti + curry sauce: Fine as an appetizer but wouldn't reorder. The roti wasn't as airy as I like and the curry sauce was thin and a little one-note. Skip and use your stomach real estate on something else. - Egg rolls: our friends ordered these and they just looked ok. - Mango sticky rice: One of the best I've ever had, no exaggeration. Incredibly soft, perfectly sweet sticky rice paired with the most ripe, juicy mangoes...and we went in May! Impressive. 5 stars!

Pad Thai is tasty. The BECK is a must order: crispy chicken. Calamari can be crispier, won't order again. Chicken wings are to die for. Service was quick. During lunch peak hours it can be slow. Nice expansion on the other side of the room. Bright and roomy. Will come again.

This Thai restaurant is located in the heart of downtown. There were plenty of parking. We decided to order take out. We ordered two orders of their popular Time Thai Fried Chicken, Pad Thai With Chicken, and the Pineapple Fried Rice With Pork. Our order was ready in about 20 minutes. The Time Thai Fried Chicken were crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. It came with sweet chili sauce. We didn't really use the sauce because the fried chicken itself was flavorful enough. However, it would have been nice if they trimmed off some of the chicken fat. The sauce for the Pad Thai was kind of sweet and had a little tang to it. The Pineapple Fried Rice With Pork was very flavorful and tasty.

The positives: We ordered the Green Curry with chicken, and the Pad Thai Fried Chicken. The pad Thai tasted fantastic and the chicken was incredibly crispy while being very tender. I loved the pad Thai fried chicken. For the green curry, most of the green curry tasted great with that savory and spicy balance that green curry normally has. The negatives: the potatoes in the green curry didn't seem cooked entirely. The two dishes were delivered to the table at totally different times. It made it so that my friend finished his food and then after he finished I began eating my pad thai. Because of these two doubles negatives I am lowering the rating by 2 stars. Would I try this place again? Yes, but I would specifically seek out a time when the place has lower traffic than Saturday evenings. I will say the place was quite lively. It didn't live up to my expectations entirely on the food, one shouldn't only make their flagship entrees in a stellar manner, but all the dishes should be stellar tasting. I forgot to take a photo of the green curry.

Everything we ordered were really delicious and ample servings. Fish was moist and the sauce is so flavorful. Only complaint is that the crab in their crab curry is so small.

Time Thai Kitchen opened years ago where Legacy Thai Cuisine was. Infrastructure changed. New outside seating. New 2d room decorized. Main room has sparse seating, a flatscreen. No street parking. Small parking in rear. Watch for areas for permitted parking. Against the fence is a no no. Soft vocal music in background. Seated promptly when they opened. Ordered asap. Food came out in 18 minutes. deep fryer probably needed to be heated up. Offerings (Thai fusion): appetizers, drinks, specials, noodles, noodle soups, salads... Bites: Som Tum Set(19): fried chicken, sticky rice, salad, papaya salad. -sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf. nice taste. Ate a little. Forget to take it to go. Not a fan of rice. -papaya salad: shredded ripe papaya mixed with tomato bits, crushed peanuts, leeks, green beans. Fresh and crunchy. Lime juice added tartness. Garlic half cloves adds another layer of flava. 7 Fried chicken boneless pieces obviously marinated with herb & spices. Skin on thigh meat was consistently moist, tender, juicy. Had bone in versions elsewhere. Not so juicy-harder to control heat. The fried chicken here is a WINNER. A small serving of mixed greens with peanut dressing was amazing. 4.5 stars Worthy: YMMV. Quantity: reasonable, the "SET" allows one to taste many entrees. Quality: very good.

*** Vegetarian Review ***…read more Full disclaimer. I haven't been to the restaurant, but I've tried their vegan potstickers at the Kaiser Vallejo Farmers Market. So, since I wasn't able to find a check in for that market, I had to come here to sing their praises. 6 Vegan Potstickers at the market are $13. I recommend spending the $1 for chili oil. Not sure what they charge at the restaurant for these fried pockets of deliciousness, but I tell you if these taste this good at a farmers market, packaged in a box, and I wait 10 minutes before I find a seat in the hospital cafeteria, and it still tastes this good, the restaurant must be out of this world. The wrapper has a great thickness and offers a sticky and chewy bite. Pan fried still comes out after having these steam in a to go box, so the restaurant would probably make these pan fried babies have even more texture. Comes with a dipping sauce, but combine it with the chili oil if you can handle a little heat and Yes Chef!! I heard they are at the SF Ferry Building Market on Saturday and Walnut Creek Farmers Market on Sunday. Double check those, but finding a great vegan potsticker is not easy.

It was early dinner time on a Friday evening and it wasn't overly crowded. All 6 of us got different items and overall it's a matter of preference for what kind of broth and protein you'd like that depicts the meal, the toppings are generally all the same. Consider this place to almost be a "make your own ramen" type of thing, in that you're given a platter of toppings to add to your bowl of steaming hot broth, mix it and let it sit, then voila! The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas.
