My spectrum repair rep was awesome! On time, personable, knowledgeable and on task. Thanks Travis!!! The spectrum company totally is NOT! Repair/replacement of my "legacy" DVR (legacy meaning equipment I was using when the company was Time-Warner) was going to cost $21.00 MORE A MONTH! Just because I would now be a Spectrum (not Time-Warner) customer using Spectrum's newest equipment changing my status totally from Time-Warner to Spectrum. $21!!! Honestly, before my DVR went wacky I was just a hair away from looking for an alternative to using Spectrum as my internet and television provider (no landline here although it would be cheaper to buy into a bundle-but a landline? Really?). This recent experience with Spectrum is the final push. Anyone who is a Spectrum customer BEWARE! Hold onto your old equipment as long as possible or bend over and prepare to be a totally screwed SPECTRUM customer. There's alternatives out there and I'm definitely searching for one NOW. read more

If I could, I would give Spectrum "mobile" less than one star. Purchased an iPhone for my business, but had not activated it. On 5/4/21, received an unsolicited call from Spectrum mobile asking to help me activate the device. I explained how I wanted to use the phone. "Antonio" (not sure if that was the name of the day) gave me a number for the phone and that is when things turned chaotic. My primary cell phone and the new device became intertwined and when I called one number both numbers rang and it appeared that the Spectrum phone took on all the characteristics of the primary phone. When I called back for help I got another guy who then sent me to a woman, who transferred me to another guy named "Antonio" in no customer service who told me to contact Apple because Spectrum isn't responsible Apple equipment. Bottom line, DO NOT buy a phone from Spectrum because their "technicians" are not trained. Crappy Service! read more

Spectrum took over and raised prices over $54.00, bill went from 108.00 to 162.57, UNREAL...I called and talked to the automated system for over 3 mins before getting to a real person, which was absolutely useless. I asked to talk to the "RETENTION DEPT", she said they dont have it anymore, I asked to talk to ta supervisor, (at the same time I was looking and building a new bundle on line from THEIR website). Online I could build a bundle for the same services for 99.99, then she (the supervisor), started telling me that there was all these additional fees and that the total bill would be 132.75, still over 30 bucks cheaper, I asked about getting that bundle and she said it was ONLY for NEW customers, I asked about all of us "OLD" customers, and she simply giggled...enraged at this point, I went to the ATT website and built a similar package, total was 108.96....unreal...I told the wife to watch ALL the shows she has recorder ASAP, and that we would be going to ATT.... I asked the supervisor about the comparable package at ATT she started telling me about a POOL OF CHANNELS that TWC/Spectrum offers, basically nothing to do with what I was talking about. after a 20 min conversation about prices, I finally hung up after telling her to have a nice day... I would never recommend them to anyone, not for any reason other than a business need for 100M+ internet....but NEVER for a family member or any personal need. Rob R. read more

This company does not keep it's promises and when calling in to get help with a service, I usually get some foreign person who deliberately seems to try to get me upset and refuses to check into whatever the problem is! They play around and seem to irritate instead of helping! They do not seem very knowledgable either! This business would get an "F" Rating from me! read more

Bills went up $85 a month. Their explanation on the bill for the increase doesn't add up. Plus their service is crap, I have four of the little Cisco digital adapters that are complete prices of crap! No TV listing, just a little channel changer that's constipated. Complete junk. I have visited the store twice in the last week and a half. Each time a lady stood at the signin machine and help me type in my name. She then went to check her Amazon deliveries online. I asked her if she could check in my router as a return and she said she could not. Both times she told me it was a 25 minute wait. Both times it was a 45 minute wait and it took me one minute today to turn it in. They need to find some way to speed up this process. More people left after coming into the store than stayed. Has anyone in management ever checked the number of people working or the duties of each person? read more

Ah where do I begin. Today Jan 27 2019 I received a bill for $76. Now this raised two eyebrows for me. First I've been going through them for 7 months now... my bill is only $49.99 a month so where was this $76 from. The other thing that concerned me was that I called a couple days before and canceled the entire service because I moved out of state at the beginning of the month. The only reason I would have even known they charged me was because my bank account went from $100 to $20 something dollars. And my bank always lets me know when I fall below $50. When I decided to look at all of my bills collectively since I started I cannot believe what I found. Since August I've only paid $49.99 three times out of the 7 payments. Let me just read you my bank statement. August 21 $49.99 September 10 (not even two weeks later) $58.94 on September 27 $58.94 ( so yes in that month and 6 days I paid a total of $167.87) on October 27 $49.99 on November 27 $49.99 December 27 $85? On January 27 $76 apparently streaming was added to my plan without my knowledge. I didn't even know what streaming was until I asked about the sudden $35 extra and the $26 extra. Upon calling their support (because Oklahoma doesn't have spectrum there's no stores to even go to.) I asked to speak with a manager then the guy continued to talk to me thinking he could fix it and he made zero sense so I again asked for a manger. He transferred me to some girl... first question I ask is are you a manager... "no I'm not but I can help you with billing problems." Okay well I tried that with the last guy idc I want a manager. She transferred me to another girl who also said she wasn't a manager. Then she put me on hold for 30 minutes and when the manager finally gets on the phone he has bullshit excuses and claims that the three payments were for July.... the entire month of July is when I started it... the equipment you gave me didn't work so we waited two weeks for you to fix your own problems. I even asked the tech guy if I really had to pay for the two weeks I had it and it didn't work because your used equipment had other peoples information on it. The tech guy told me I didn't have to but obviously I should have gotten that in writing. In conclusion I've been falsely charged $182. I am 19 years old and living on my own completely. I have $23 to last me until next Saturday. It's currently Monday. I haven't been able to eat and will not be able to eat for the next week because you falsely took all the money I had. I don't know what going 8 days without food will do when I'm 100 lbs but if I die... good luck. I've canceled my business my mother canceled hers my sister canceled hers my grandmother canceled hers and I'll continue to share this with everyone I know until they all dump you two. You didn't just screw over one customer I single handedly took three other people with me. You're losing over $200 a month now. I'll take as many more until I get my money back or you're out of business. read more

This service is terrible. I am very rarely able to watch on demand . It always states unavailable at this time. Started watching Game of Throwns and it only has a few episodes of each season. Called them they sent out a tech guy FOR FREE LOL to fix problem but he said that is all they provide is a couple episodes a season. Why even bother to put it on HBO . I will be switching companies and never going back. It is horrible service. read more

The worst service I've experienced with internet. Rarely works for a full week, and equally atrocious customer service. AT&T, Cincinnati Bell, anyone - please bring fiber TV and internet to Springboro! You'll put these lackluster fools out of business. Time Warner are crooks and raise your bill hoping you won't notice. I had to call ever other month just to get something corrected. If it wasn't for the fact I have to have them I would gladly use someone else. read more
