Came here for the first time yesterday to get two new watch batteries, ended up leaving with a sweet new watch band too. Not only that but Penny polished my watch for free, it was super tarnished I didn't think it would ever look as good as it does. Will definitely be coming back! read more

I've lost a lot of weight, which meant my beloved Omega watch was slipping off my wrist. One repair shop said I was way too thin and they couldn't take out enough of the band's links to make it work. Well, guess what, Timeland knew how to do it and make it work. They are true professionals who know their craft. They're also congenial and a pleasure to know. Of course, I bought a clock for my bedstand while there too. They have a lot of nice things from just fun stuff to high-end watches. It's worth going in just to browse. read more

This place is wonderful ! Penny the owner rocks! Had 3 watch batteries and a band replaced. Very reasonable. I highly recommend.

I have a few very old watches that needed battery and band change, so I took them to Timeland. Some of the watches are so old the battery leaked in the back. The owner took additional time fixing the watches, and did not charge me anything more than just the batteries and bands. The shop literally has everything, I bought my watches in the 80s and they still carried the replacement bands. Timeland is honest, efficient, friendly and cheap. They just earned their loyal customer for life. I live 50 miles away and it is well worth the drive. read more

I have been coming here for over 14-15 years for all battery replacements, repairs, purchases. I have received nothing but great service. The whole crew is awesome. I don't bother going anywhere else. Casio, Citizen, etc...they have all the non-pretentious brands. read more

Timeland is the place to get your watches fixed by honest skilled professionals. They did an amazing job and even cleaned my watches in addition to changing the batteries, fixing the bands and replacing one with a new one. They are absolutely the very best! I highly recommend them!! read more

Don't go anywhere else! This is my 2nd time in a few weeks at Timeland and I'll be a customer for life. Today, Penny, the owner, took the time to pick out a Nato strap and a leather band for my Tissot and TAG Heuer watches. She also cleaned my Rolex Datejust for me for free when I purchased the amazing non toxic cleaner for $15. Customer service is beyond 5 ***s. Thank you, Penny! read more

They are the best! I was running late and they waited for me (arrived 1 min before closing). Price is very competitive and they even had free treats for my dog! I will be coming back again. read more

TIMELAND IS A FIND- THEY ARE THE BEST repair place in town. The owner Penny and her son James are caring and fair and talented at what they do. I am so happy to have found them. They fixed 10 of my watches today and I was out in less than an hour. read more

Quick. Efficient. Affordable. With parking. Repaired a missing pin in my watch for $5 in 5 minutes. read more

I take my watches to Timeland because their pricing on repairs and batteries is the best I've found. Every time I go I get excellent service and can usually just wait there if it just for battery replacement. This time I took in a dozen watches that need batteries but one of them also needed repair since the emblem had fallen out of place (normally at the 12 spot. I left my watches came back in an hour and all were completed the emblem re-attached. A great place to go for any watch related need. read more

[Store owner asked that I publish a review for them. I wouldn't normally do so having only visited them once but they did indeed do a good job so, fair enough, I'll make this short and sweet] My watch band broke. It ain't a cheap watch and the pin that attaches the band to watch itself was lost and the connector bridge that covers the pin was lost. This is apparently a major problem: The bridge is, according to the owner and unbeknownst to me, not a stock part for most watches and are usually uniquely paired to the watch. Lose the bridge, you need to go to the manufacturer to see if they'll replace it. They said they'd see what they could do with the spare parts they had on hand but they couldn't guarantee a perfect replacement. Well, sure enough, after 10 minutes, they showed me what they did and at first glance I couldn't tell that they'd done anything other than reattach the band and fix the watch but upon closer examination, I could see that a slightly smaller bridge was added in the original's place - the one I lost. She explained that they used one from a similar watch but that it wasn't perfect fit so this was the best they could do. I laughed. Hell, I could barely tell it was different. Apparently these things matter to watch repair folk though. Final bill: $10. Nice. Timeland has a new satisfied customer. 5-stars. read more

Found this place on Yelp and the good reviews it had . So i decided to give them a try. My watch needed resizing and as soon as I gave them the watch they found out that one of the pins was replaced by a paperclip. They said they would resize it and replace it with the correct one. Just less than half an hour my watch was done plus they gave a good deal $35. Can't beat that and the staff are so friendly as well. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Unbelievable service. Called in last minute on New Years Eve 12/31/18 for a couple battery changes, and they stayed open. Very friendly. They even cleaned my watch on the spot. Definitely recommend, and I'll be back read more

I stupidly left my 'water resistant' vintage Rolex in the pocket of my shorts when then went in the washing machine. I freaked out ... and through luck and chance I ended up at Timeland. I was thinking I would have to go to Feldmar and mortgage my house to get the watch fixed. Imagine my surprise when they quoted me a very reasonable price and guaranteed their work. Picked up my watch today and I am thrilled with the work. This place is amazing and deserves more stars than Yelp allow. Do not judge the storefront or even think of comparing this place to 'fancy places' because the work they do here at Timeland is so vastly superior. Do yourself a favor, if you need a watch repaired look no further than TIMELAND. read more

After reading a review below from what I can only surmise was left by a Dishonest woman trying to extort Timeland , I felt compelled to write this review. I have known Timeland for at least 19 years, And have come to know Penny and Jimmy closely for the last 9 years. I have entrusted them to work on my 4 Tine pieces all of these years. In my experience they are the most Honest and meticulous watch repair shop in Los Angeles. I have never had a single bad experience with any service and repair preformed by them. The fact is that this shop is way cheaper than R0-EX to have your watch repaired by and they make every effort to make it as affordable as possible for their customers. I cannot thank them enough for putting my submariner back together again after a Motorcycle crash in which my watch impacted the pavement hard ! Needless to say Jimmy took my watch in and with in a month I had it back on my wrist keeping better time than before. I highly recommend this shop for any watch repair or service needs . The fact that some one dared to call them thieves just incensed me, how dare you accuse them of stealing (micro) jewels out of your watch ? It just shows how much you know about the workings of a watch ! Ignore reviews by grifters and people who are just miserable. If you want a quality and honest experience these are the last remaining ones left around ! They are keepers . Cheers read more

My new go-to store for everything from simple repairs to larger purchases. The staff here are patient, extremely knowledgeable, and want to provide the best service. Competitive pricing on their impressive selection of watches as well as on their repairs. I'll definitely be coming back here in the future. read more

Timeland is amazing. Penny and Jimmy are wonderful to work with - they are about as friendly and helpful as you could imagine and their competence is unmatched. They repaired my wife's Rolex which required great care in cleaning and parts and did so most economically and efficiently. They did the same with the two Juvenia watches in the photo. I recommend them to you with absolute confidence - you will be thrilled with their wonderful performance and expertise. I will be their customer forever! read more

Amazing service at this place!! Staff is so helpful. Work was done on a busy Saturday afternoon very quickly. Took the time after to explain to me how to reset my watches -- without cracking!! The service at Timeland is awesome. My mother passed away and left me a beautiful Movado watch with gold lined silver links. She was very slender, and the watch was too small for me because she had links removed. The Timeland staff went out of their way to search for an additional link--not just a Movado link. The found the exact link necessary to make a seamless repair. "It was hard," the owner said. I so appreciate their efforts, which enables me to wear this treasured possession. read more

I can't express how convenient and quick their service was... which seems stupid because I think I just blatantly did. Well, much like the quick quip, they were able to adjust the metal band in about 5 minutes or so. Super friendly and courteous, it might be hard to spot so if you're driving north on Westwood drive slow before you reach Olympic, you might miss them. Very reasonable prices; cost 8 dollars to have my watch adjusted. read more

Penny and Ron helped fit my '93 Omega Speedmaster to my wrist that I imported from Japan by taking off a few links. She explained to me how to fine-tune the wrist settings and even threw in a free tool for good measure- all for $10. Ron informed me of a few of the chronograph's functions I was not aware of and gave recommendations for routine care and troubleshooting. I would highly recommend Timeland to anyone looking for a family-run, fine watch retailer & repair shop whose staff really knows their craft. The parking lot is small, but there is a vast amount of residential parking in the blocks adjacent to the corner of Olympic & Westwood. I parked on Glendon Ave. with no trouble. read more

PLEASE READ! My vintage Cartier watch was a disaster. It did not work the white background was a chipped and the glass was all scratched! It was so bad that I thought the trash was the only way to go. After reading few reviews on yelp about Timeland watch repair I took my watch there with not much hope! Penny and her son were so sweet to me and told me not to worry that they could fix it! I asked so many questions because it was so hard for me to believe they could save this watch. They told me not to worry. I left my watch and got a call today to pick it up after 3 weeks. Omg look at what they did to my watch! It looks brand new from the store! I have my watch on my wrist for a couple of hours now and I still can't believe my eyes. Trust them with your expensive watches. They know what they are doing. Oh and did I mentioned that their prices is very fair. They are not thieves but trustworthy business owners. 1000 thanks to you guys. I will be back! read more

I've been meaning to write a review of Timeland for a month now. Recently my Tissot T-Touch started acting up. I took it for an estimate at an authorized Tissot repair shop and they wanted $200 to fix it. I thought that was a bit much. A friend suggested I go to Timeland...I did, they changed the battery, and adjusted some settings and my watch was as good as new. It cost me less than $20. I highly recommend Timeland for any and all watch repairs. They also have a nice selection of watches. The owner was extremely nice and I would go back in a heartbeat! read more

This is the best watch repair/watch store in West Los Angeles. I came in today to get my watch fixed and to replace the dial on my watch. The lovely owner explained to me the price and how the watch would be fixed. While they fixed my watch, I had a wonderful conversation with her and her sons (I think the three guys are her sons) about watches. They are extremely knowledgeable about watches. Not only did they fix my watch, but they also cleaned and pressure tested my watch. The price for fixing my watch was beyond reasonable and it included the cleaning solution the owner used to clean my watch. The owner was also kind enough to donate a watch for a charity fundraising event I'm having on August 12. They have a wonderful collection of watches, great knowledge about watches, and great service. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This place is my go to watch shop and a must for anyone who needs to get their watch serviced. read more

I took my Seiko watch to several places to fix a clasp. Each recommended that I replace an expensive part. Timeland looked at my watch and fixed it in less than 5 min (and got lure cost!). They fixed another customer's more expensive watch in the short time I was there as well. They know their stuff! Their customer service is amazing also! They actually have a great selection of Seiko and other watches as well. Not sure about their prices though. read more

I just did battery replacement for my 3-year-old Tissot here. They have run the bussiness for 31 years! The service was very good - very fast (less than 10 minutes) and professional (double check water resistance by putting it in a machine that pumps air with pressure, I guess...). The price is very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend my friends and others to fix a watch here. read more

Wish I could give them 10 stars. Best and quick service! Definitely recommend this place! Very professional and honest people!!!

I had been searching for a watch battery replacement nearby. I had been quoted astronomical rates until I called Timeland and they very quickly gave me a great price and that they would take care of swapping the battery in 5 minutes. I popped in and as promised, they held true to the price they quoted and handled the battery replacement in no time at all. Not to mention they reset the date and time for me. Seems like a small thing but I've had other shops hand it back incomplete before! They were very friendly to boot- I will definitely be back for any repairs in the future. Glad I found this spot hiding next to the frozen yogurt shop! read more

I found this place by luck just because I was in the area and looked up Yelp. Penny (the owner), her son and her employee took care of battery changes for my three watches. Love this little shop. Family owned and run. Has been in this location forever. I had to ask; 31 years. The owner is very knowledgable, a lovely person, and always there. A few years ago, my wife created a birthday present for me. The watchmaker (late father of the family) rebuilt my father's High School Graduation watch, from a baggie of its parts. A 1935 Hamilton was reborn. For me, a memory forever. read more
