Took two watches to them for simple battery replacement, both of them moderately expensive watches. Woman broke the more expensive one and claimed the old battery had leaked and corroded the terminal, but the broken off piece showed no signs of corrosion, just a clean break of shiny metal. Back cover also was scratched during removal, as I inspected the watch prior to taking it to them. Told me terminal could not be repaired and that it would cost $110 to replace the entire movement. Second watch battery replacement went okay, although she noted some blackening on the terminal (I guess they don't even try to clean the battery terminals before replacing the battery?). To add insult to injury, charged me $13.95 for replacing that battery, which involved simply popping off the back cover of the watch to access the battery because it has a recess in the cover for doing so. Whereas another customer in the store had the son(?) working on the work bench to replace the battery in his watch, and when his battery replacement was finished, they explained to him that it was complicated since they had to remove a few screws and remove some parts once inside the watch to access the battery compartment. Yet cost of his battery replacement was less than mine -- $10.95. Go figure. Maybe the extra $3 was for the labor involved in breaking my other watch. Yes, I know this place has tons of five star reviews, which is why I came here. But beware. read more

My G-Shock Mudmaster requires two batteries, and other places quoted me $25 for each battery because of its complexity and required two days to change them.
