We were seated promptly and the service was friendly. They serve breakfast, and I made the mistake of ordering the chicken fried steak, which was just OK, instead of the seafood salad, which has been always good. I like that they hand booths.

Chicken Alfredo with veggies extra. My camera is bad, so this photo doesn't do it justice

Excellent food, excellent service, relaxing space. Their chicken Alfredo was so flavorful and they added veggies for me. It came with garlic bread which was a nice addition. My husband had a sausage calzone. The crust was perfect with all the cheese and sausage to make it just right. The true show stopper was the marinara sauce. Chef's Kiss! Erin was our server and she was so kind and honest with her suggestions. Great neighborhood place with excellent food selections from breakfast to dinner and a full bar to boot.

Restaurant Week! Great service and tasty food. I would have not found this warm establishment had it not been for restaurant week. The traditional bruschetta was bright and delicious. I enjoyed the clam chowder and pasta dish. Our creme brûlée was not set and our server sweetly brought us delicious chocolate cake.

Times Square does their thing every time, with no misses. Came here last Wednesday night and the place was packed. Ordered the pollo marconi, which is still one of my fave dishes after all these years since I can't find anything like it at other restaurants. The demi-glaze sauce on there is delicious and goes super well with the garlic bread. The portion is big enough to have leftovers which I always excitedly eat the next day.

We live all of the Time Square restaurants. Came to the Glendale location because they were the only one participating in restaurant week. Greeted and seated. Ordered a bottle of wine. Our server was exceptional. We started with the Bruchetta and Calamari. Then Pasta Giovani and Pollo Marconi. Took our desserts home. Both had Tiramisu. A great place always.

    Caesars salad

Just dropped in and wanted a side dish only dinner. The Caesars salad was creamy and for a small size was plenty. The 2 meatball were well sized, covered in gooey mozzarella and a great homemade sauce. Great meal at a great price right now.

    New location & design.

Sad to add this review because it's the first time we have been majorly disappointed in our to go order. Sicilian pizza was not cooked all the way through and our calzone had onions added Lehigh we did not ask for and ruined the dish.

this small hidden gem was amazing! The food was amazing and we had a blast! Service could have been a tad faster but to be fair it was busy. We will definitely be back.

    Linguine Principessa
    Heidi A.

My partner went to pick them up so I can't say much for the service or ambiance, only that he thought it very much looked like a family owned establishment from the looks of it. I ordered the Linguine Principessa and some garlic bread on the side. They were all delicious. Generous portion of clams and shrimp! The garlic bread was $4 and it came with 3 big pieces so I was pleased by that as well. It wasn't too pricey so we may come and visit and eat at this establishment next time :)

    Pasta Giovanni
    Brittany P.

We had the pasta Giovanni, chicken Alfredo fettuccine, garlic bread, and pepperoni pizza. All was good except the chicken Alfredo fettuccine was a bit dry. The service was great and the waitress was friendly. We had gone on a Sunday around 1pm and it was decently busy- 2 or 3 tables full of people other than my group. Minus 1 star due to dry pasta- not enough sauce. It was difficult to swallow.

While the service was adequate, the food more than made up for it and quickly became the highlight of the evening. We started with the Sicilian Strada Board, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Beautifully presented on an impressive five-foot board, it offered an abundant assortment of flavors and textures. From the perfectly crispy calamari and creamy polenta to Tomaso's signature meatballs, every item was thoughtfully prepared and incredibly flavorful. The artisanal cured meats and cheeses paired wonderfully with the bruschetta, Roman artichokes, Sicilian olives, and sweet fig jam, creating a memorable appetizer experience that was perfect for sharing. We also ordered the Cured Meat and Cheese Board, which was equally impressive. The selection of artisanal meats and cheeses was excellent, complemented by fresh grapes, grilled ciabatta, Roman artichokes, olives, and fig jam. Every bite felt carefully curated and highlighted the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. For my entrée, I chose the Cacio e Pepe, a classic dish executed beautifully. The freshly cracked black pepper and pecorino created a rich, velvety sauce that coated the pasta perfectly. Simple in concept yet incredibly satisfying, it was a wonderful example of how a few high-quality ingredients can create something truly outstanding. The cocktails were also exceptional--easily a 10/10. Expertly crafted, balanced, and delicious, they complemented the meal perfectly and elevated the overall dining experience. The Sicilian Butcher offers a vibrant atmosphere, generous portions, and food that genuinely impresses. While the service could have been a bit more attentive, the outstanding cuisine and phenomenal cocktails make this a restaurant I would happily return to again and again.

The decor is a bit dark, but chic & colorful. Our server, Esmerelda, was fantastic: funny, attentive, polite. There was a guy there who seemed to be the Jack of all trades. He brought us our food, I saw him behind the bar, and even bussing tables. He, too, was friendly & smiley. Cocktails: they had a great selection but we went with plain ol' Cokes. That's okay, we'll partake of their boozy drinks when we visit again. Food: parmesan truffle fries were aah-mazing. I even told Esmerelda they should add a pizza with the garlic aioli. The buffalo mozzarella had a bit of a kick to the sauce; we could have used more toasted bread to dip into it. We ordered the heaven and bianca pizzas. The crust was thinner than normal, which I was happy about, and the flavors of both were delicious. Dessert: despite not finishing the appetizers & pizza (no worries, we thoroughly enjoyed the leftovers!), we opted for a gelato flight. It was divine, and hefty samples. You wouldn't think 4 oz was much, but of gelato, it was plenty. We selected chocolate, strawberry, salted caramel, and mango. If you haven't tried Roma 23, I highly recommend it. Even if you don't live close by, it is worth the drive.

When we did manage to get in, we ordered a glass of pinot noir and Pelligrino to drink. The waitress brought out a glass of white wine and insisted this was their pinot noir... even the bartender confirmed. So the staff is NOT wine savvy, I wouldn't trust their recommendations on pairings here either. They didn't have any Pelligrino left, so I ended up getting an arnold palmer. However, when they brought the check out, the Pelligrino was still on the tab and we had to ask them to take it off. We both got pasta, the lasagna and the chicken masala, and a caesar salad. The noodles tasted like it was made in house, which was nice. Chicken was not overly breaded and the sauce was light. The salad had too much cheese but I think some people just like that on their salad. I'm interested to try their pizza at some point in the future, assuming we can make it in time before they close ;)

The food, decor, and ambiance are fantastic. My family and I ate at L'Amore 2 nights in a row, and had we discovered it earlier in our vacation, we would have gone every single night (not kidding). While we've had equally delicious meals at other restaurants (all over the world), we have NEVER experienced such friendly, accommodating and welcoming service as what we received at L'Amore. I said to my husband "this must be what it feels like to be a member of a private club", and he agreed. We have an adult son with autism who will only eat a few dishes at restaurants. I called several restaurants to see if they serve chicken tenders and french fries; ALL of the restaurants we called said no-- until I called L'Amore. When I explained our situation, I was connected to the kitchen, explained our situation, and the chef immediately asked his staff if they had any potatoes to make french fries. (French fries are not on the menu). They said yes, and the chef said they'd be happy to make french fries for our son. When we arrived at L'Amore that evening, the owner/manager came by our table to welcome us. Our server, Sal, could not have been nicer, and addressed our son by his first name all evening. His co-manager assisted our son in accessing his iPad via their WiFi. When we returned the second night, the young male concierge welcomed us by name (even though we hadn't told him our name yet), and both managers visited our table that night. Sal was helpful in navigating the menu, recommended a wine by the glass that is typically only served as a bottle, and was incredibly kind and attentive all evening, without ever being intrusive. My husband and I were so moved by the kindnesses shown to our family. We'll never forget it, and look forward to returning to L'Amore on future vacations. Thank you, L'Amore for rekindling my faith in humanity.

It came with grilled ciabatta, arugula, shaved red onion, and a Calabrian vinaigrette. The burrata was incredibly creamy and paired perfectly with the tomatoes, while the crunchy ciabatta added a wonderful contrast in texture. My husband chose the Sicilian meatballs, which were served over creamy polenta with rustic marinara and grana padano, also a very solid dish. For our entrees, we had the hot honey & smoked prosciutto pizza and the strozzapreti, a pasta dish with herb-roasted chicken, mushroom, spinach, parmesan cream, truffle, and pine nuts). Both were fantastic! The pizza nailed that sweet and savory flavor profile, and the crust was absolutely perfect. The strozzapreti was also delicious -- rich, creamy, and packed with mushroom and truffle flavor. Last time we visited the North Italia Phoenix location, the pasta was a bit too soft and lacked that proper al dente bite, but this time it was cooked flawlessly. Unfortunately, the desserts were a letdown. We tried the hazelnut torta and the tiramisu, but both were overwhelmingly sweet. The tiramisu tasted soggy, like it had been sitting in the fridge for a long time instead of being freshly made, and the chocolate balls on top felt unnecessary and cheapened the dish. The service was also a bit of a mixed bag. Somehow our desserts were brought out before we had even finished our entrees. As a result, the ice cream on top of the hazelnut torta just sat there melting by the time we were ready for it. It made the end of the meal feel rushed, like they were trying to turn the table over quickly.
