I called Timo's for plumbing services in November of this year. I had a shower that would not stop dripping. They replaced the cartridge and told me it was repaired. A few weeks later the cartridge broke and I could not turn off the water. I called them back. They said they needed to replace the cartridge again, which they did. Two days later, I could not turn off the shower again. It was the weekend and I called and asked them to send someone. They said they did not provide weekend service. I had to call KC's 23 1/2 hour plumbing to turn the water off and I was charged for the emergency service call. I sent the invoice to Timo's for reimbursement which they have ignored. Timo's came out again to fix the problem, but it persists. In all, they have been to my house 11 times! I spoke to the operations manager, Kimberly. She assured me she would get the problem fixed. She has not. They were at my house yesterday with two new cartridges, but the technician did not install either one. He said they were not necessary, tried to upsell me on a "whole house plumbing analysis" and then left. The shower is still dripping continuously. I am now calling another plumber to fix it. Timo's should maybe stick to air conditioning. DO NOT CALL THEM FOR PLUMBING THEY ARE INCOMPETENT. read more

The entire team at Timo's, from start to finish, are angels! Long story short, my home warranty company took up 30 days of my life while my AC was broken to eventually decide that they don't have the equipment/vendor to be able to fix it, so cashed me out. This meant I had to start all over again.. I called Timo's late afternoon last Thursday and spoke to Irene. After explaining my situation, she said that Miguel could still come by that evening, if I was available. I jumped at the opportunity. Miguel came by and immediately recognized my HOA, as he had done another unit in there the year prior. He confirmed that I indeed needed a new AC, but the issue would be getting it onto the roof. He said he would consult with his boss the next day and have options out to me around noon. It went exactly the way he said, and he communicated with me via text as well to explain the full extent of the operation. I ended up accepting one of the options, where we had to wait for the AC to come in on Tuesday so they could install it the next day. I ended up calling the office back yesterday to check to see if we were good to go today, and Tracy was super helpful in making sure that we were all set. Today was the day! Tom's team showed up around 8:15am and immediately got to work. They scouted the HOA, looking for the best way to get all the gear inside and set up. About an hour and a half later, and they had already managed to get the AC onto the roof. Without taking breaks, they got to work on taking the old one apart and installing the new one. They had to make a few adjustments on the roof, but by noon, I had cool air flowing into my condo again. Miguel later on followed up with me via text to see if everything had gone well. Timo's has honestly got their process down to a T from start to finish. When you call them, someone always answers the phone during hours (which cannot be said from most vendors out there). Everyone I interacted with was super friendly and helpful. They acknowledged the sense of urgency of my situation, and I felt very well taken care of. Technician, (Francisco/Pancho) Frankie Castillo, really knows his stuff! He diagnosed the problem with our newly-installed ACs in less than 15 minutes. No charge, since Timo's had done the work and had forgotten to install the long-term filter that only needs changing 1x/year. Frankie took time to explain what "air conditioning" means! I always thought it was just cold air being blown-- I had no idea that installing a return in a room would suck up warm air and cool the room (with less expense and hassle of installing a mini split). All the staff, are friendly, unobtrusive--no bother, no BS. Miguel didn't try to upsell me. Easy financing. Quick response, quick installation. Waiting to see if the installation lowers our KwH usage, or if the oversight meant more Edison isage (though we have SunRun solar). So far, so good. read more

I had to get a whole new air conditioning system. I went with Timo. I've had nothing but problems ever since. They admitted it was a defective unit. They replaced the compressor. Guess what needs to be replaced on the unit now, another new compressor. I will never recommend them to anyone! read more

Very Expensive!! We switched to Timo's two years ago when we got a brand new 4 ton variable trane unit. After the first year, we opted in for the advantage plus plan ($189 per year). We are seasonal so the unit isn't used as often as full timers. Summary: In February 25th of 2025 we had to put on the AC when the temp reached 90's but nothing other than hot air would come out. We called and they came out the next day and spent two hours diagnosing the problem. Cost: At the time we thought great, we have an advantage plan but found out it does not cover labor costs. We had to pay the $380 ($195 per hour) for TWO hours labor and plus the initial diagnostic fee of $69. Problem: Had to get a new circuit board for our two year old unit (which is worrisome). The good news is Jose diagnosed and fixed the issue. Jose had to order the circuit board but put a workaround in so we could use the air conditioner. The bad news is that at two years old, we had failed parts and had to pay for labor plus diagnosis fees. read more

I had a split a/c unit installed in my garage. The installers were Joe Rodriguez and Juan Chavez. I am a very picky person and I don't like just anyone drilling holes in my house or installing conduit unless they do an excellent job the first time. Both installers were excellent. They had the entire job completed in 1 1/2 hours. They were very precise and they did everything as I would have done it as a perfectionist. Juan showed me how to operate the system and now I have a great a/c unit for the summer so that I can utilize the storage in my garage better. I would highly recommend the two installers and Timo's. I went from getting the quote to having the unit fully installed in 48 hours! Miguel Roman was the advisor who came to help me decide where to place the unit and what I needed for the garage. He was very clear about what I needed and he wrote up a quote on the spot and scheduled the installation date immediately. It is nice to have a company whose employees work well together! read more

We had been doing construction which cause an AC unit to perform poorly because of all the sawdust. We called Timos for an tune up only to be quoted a price that rivals a new unit. The tech said the motor was leaking oil. We got 2 more opinions and the only thing needed was a cleaning. The motor was fine. I think it is gross when a company intentionally pads a bill like this and suggest unnecessary repairs at a nosebleed price. Timos is off our list of HVAC companies to use from now on. read more

Multiple problems with equipment, service, installation, final inspection, and verbal commitments. I made a bad decision and over paid for a buggy system and company. No longer will use them, but switch to a different Lennox dealer for service to this overpriced 23,000 dollar system. Sorry I didnt purchase a different brand, headquarters was of no help, and required state inspector never showed up for some reason? Perhaps they have a special agreement...for its been reported my evap line is dripping om my gas line, which is not good. I will have to hire someone else to fix this, since neither the inspector or Timos bother to show for their confirmed appointments. I had called them to replace a broken Glow switch or ignitor. They did not have the exact replacement but had one that would fit with a small amount of modification. Part # 1271N. The tech replaced. Heating is working fine. After replacing, I thought the bill would be thinking $ 125 to $ 175 Nope bill was $499 00. I later looked similar parts on the web. They are price anywhere between $20 00 - $40 00. Be aware they have outrageous part pricing with ridiculous mark ups. I was shocked. I even asked the Customer Service Rep about the cost. I said maybe around $200. She said " oh not that much". I will say they were on time and professional. Beware of over pricing with this company. read more

Jonathan - new kid on the block did an excellent job. Very polite- introduced himself and asked where the system was located. Unfortunately he didn't have my size filter on his truck. But he took care of the inspection on the roof before going back to the warehouse for a filter and Freon. Brand new Lennox Complete System XC16/SL280 was installed on 10/7/2020. Right off the bat, had issues, loud clunking noises, told by installers it was normal. When it got loud enough that you can hear it a house away, it was diagnosed as a compressor issue. Luckily it was covered since it was within the first year. A new compressor was ordered and installed. Currently at 2.5 years old, despite frequent filter changes/cleanings, it started having trouble keeping the temperature less than 80 degrees. Diagnosed now with refrigerant leak from evaporator coils, with just labor cost of replacing it over $1200. Their service and response times were quick and professional. The technicians were all great. But the overall result (HVAC experience wise) was below my expectations. read more
