We could not have achieved the install with someone who did not understand the issues we were facing. Turns out that our entire floor was in a very precarious state due to being on a hill. The constant earthquake movements beneath the surface had created not only cracks across the floor but huge humps and troughs. Wayne with his years of experience could get it to finish line, he mentioned at multiple occasions this was one the most challenging project he had undertaken. Despite the challenges and extremely hot weather, he slowly but surely kept at it. He kept diligently moving from one hump to another, one at a time but never compromising the integrity of the entire project by rushing it. He had originally planned to complete the install in 3 to 4 days(650sqt). It took 7days to get to the finish line. He took his time to ensure that despite the challenges he achieved a rock solid installation from his end. His punctuality is commendable. He showed up exactly at the same time each morning with a big smile and ready to face more humps and challenges coming his way! We could not have been more happy with the results! Last year, we needed our pool slide scrapped and re-coated as the initial construction of the slide was done poorly. We asked Paul if this is something his company does and he said yes. Tells us he'll send his stone guy to take a look at it. I emphasized that I wanted to use whatever material would last us the longest. He quoted us about $2k. It's steep, but we know Paul and trusted him (or so we thought). It has been a year almost exactly and the coating they did is now peeling. We reach out to Paul about remedying this and he's basically washing his hands of it, saying that he has no affiliation with the person/company he sent out and that he had called his stone guy. I've attached photos of what the slide looked like before, after, and now and part of our conversation where he explicitly stated his workers and not some referred outside company. We paid the invoice sent through Beachfront, not some 3rd party he claims to not be affiliated with. This is not to mention that our pool has had issues with algae for the last 2 months and they claim that it was a pipe leak which we paid for to be fixed and look at the state of our pool now still. I would stay far away from this company. I don't know why they have so many stars but my experience with Paul and Beachfront have been disappointing and expensive.

Our experience with Polina was excellent, she was friendly, kind, and very helpful in guiding us through our tile selection. Where things fell short was communication and delivery...especially disappointing as this was our first time shopping here. When we placed our order, we specifically asked if the product was in stock and were told that it was. After we paid and left, we received a call saying the product was actually not in stock and would take about a week. Frustrating, but what made it worse was the response we got when we followed up. We spoke with Glenn and explained that had we known, we might have gone elsewhere. His response was essentially that we were free to do so. Having worked in customer service for over 10 years, I found that surprising and disappointing...there was no effort to retain our business or make things right. We decided to continue with the order since we had already paid. Fast forward about two weeks, and we hadn't received any updates. I called to check in and was told the shipment was still in transit and might arrive by the end of the day. I asked to speak with a manager, and Glenn called me back. To his credit, he acknowledged the earlier interaction and apologized for the delay, but there was still a lack of proactive communication or effort to improve the experience...especially considering we had already, made multiple trips for payment and a partial pickup. Ironically, I received a call just before closing that the rest of the shipment had arrived and would be ready for pickup the next day...but only after I had reached out first. I would still recommend this place for the showroom, selection, and the help we received from Polina. Just be aware that the follow-through and communication may not match that initial experience.
