We ordered individual boxed lunches of 4 varieties: chicken adobo, pork adobo, sweet sausage, and vegetarian which is Filipino style noodle. The only downside to the Lechon is that there was no sauce. Never had Lechon with no sauce before here. Dinuguan was a bit more vinegary than others. Corn Beef was pretty salty and Ive had this dish before. Service was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary other than they scoop up your food. Portions aren't great. Overall just mediocre in my opinion. Took an early flight into SJC and first thing was where can we get a Filipino breakfast. Yelp said go to Tindahan. Upon arriving, we noticed it's more of a takeout restaurant. Two small cafe tables outside and no seating on the inside. Ordered tapsilog, bangsilog, a small serving of lechon kawali, and dinuguan. Besides fighting the flies outside the food was just terrible. Lack of flavor, the lechon and tapa were so overcooked that it was like beef jerky. It was disappointing for being there so early in the morning. And a turo-turo with about eight items to choose from by pointing to the items you want. I decided to get the 2-item combo with garlic rice, as opposed to regular steamed rice. One of the items was ground pork with vegetables. It was ok, a bit bland. The other item was Mongo, a savory mung bean soup and bits of pork. The flavor was good, but the pork seemed it was leftovers chopped up and added to the soup because some pieces were hard. Mehh.
