Got delivery, I called ahead to ask if certain orders come with sauces and when I received my order, the lady gave me extra vinegar, bagoong, sweet and sour. She was so polite and professional. The food was delicious. Kare kare is my go to meal! Delicious meat, tender and crunchy, all the vegetables were cooked perfectly. I do wish they'd add more peanut sauce. The savory longanisa was good, but could improve in flavor, still yum. The egg was perfect. The lumpia was a little overcooked but great crunch and flavor

After being out on a cold night, I wanted some comforting Filipino food. I'm so happy I came upon this place because it was exactly what I was looking for. I tend to be picky when it comes to Filipino food because I'm Filipino and I'm used to home style cooking, for fast food this place did not disappoint. I ordered mostly a la carte and the portions were generous. I ordered the rellenong bangus, pork sisig, palabok and 1 combo of dinuguan with rice. Everything was warm, fresh and delicious. Flavoring was on point and not too salty. The meats were unctuous and the fish had a nice bite. The service was quick and to the point, I definitely appreciate then taking my order 30 minutes before closing because it looked like most things were put away for the night. It's a small spot best for takeout but they do have a tidy little nook if you choose to dine in. I would love to come back and try their breakfast combinations, they had a nice variety to choose from.

IMHO My husband wanted Crispy Pata for his birthday lunch, after we'd eaten it in Maui. Happily, he found Tindahan while researching, and bonus that it was on our side of town! We ordered online and we picked up 30 minutes later. The Crispy Pata was $26.50 and the Pinoy Pansit Bihon was $17.99. Portions were generous! Definitely bang-for-your-buck here! The pata was crispy crunchy, and gooey fatty. The meat was tender and yummy dipped in the vinegar soy sauce. We'll be eating leftovers for days! I think it has mainly take-out customers, but I did see two tables in the corner for dine-in. You can also find some Filipino food staples and snacks to purchase. Check it out for friendly service and delicious Pinoy comfort food!

We had a catering lunch with them and we were all pleasantly surprised! We ordered individual boxed lunches of 4 varieties: chicken adobo, pork adobo, sweet sausage, and vegetarian which is Filipino style noodle. All bento came with boiled mixed frozen veggie, scrabbled egg and a fried egg, a sticky rice flour cake and lots of white rice. The sweet sausage tasted good and juicy! There are also 2 kinds of fried rolls, a vegetarian spring roll and the lumpia meat roll. We like them both, can't complain! I hope we cater from them again!

Looking for a royal bibingka? A Filipino delicacy of rice cake much like mochi cake with cheese on top. I've bought them many times at this store as gifts to friends and family simply because I don't have the time to make it. If you're on a rush and don't have time to make some of it come here it's pretty good. They also sell meals for takeout where you just have to point which one you want in the array of viands and selections. They also sell, packaged Filipino delicacies like seaweed and jams that provides childhood nostalgia when living in the Philippines. The place is small, which is right next to the Vietnamese grocery store. The people are nice typical for a Filipino establishment. If you're looking for an Asian food fair without rude Asians, come visit the place and try the food and leave with a smile.

Ordered on grubhub for a pick up. The food was ready when I got there. The place is small and gives off a fast food vibe. The lechon was so good and crispy and I like the sauce that comes with it. Will definitely be coming back.

Came here with some friends this morning for breakfast. We got all 5 of the different ones and some lumpia. Milk fish was a bit dry. Lechon was also a bit dry. The Filipino sausage was probably my favorite. Also liked the sisig. That was delicious. Good flavor. The lumpias were so cute and yummy (seemed a bit over priced though for these. $13.99 for 15 pieces and the pieces are very small) Garlic rice was yummy! They give you decent portion. Service was nice. The worker was very pleasant. This is more of a take out place. There isn't much seating. One round table with two chairs and then We had to ask them if we could use this other table that had their stuff on it and they were nice enough to let us. No tables outside either.

Had to come back! I enjoy that their food is freshly made. The food tastes good!!! That's why we came back. Service is always with a smile. The tables were clean. They had some Halloween decorations.

Tindahan Pinoy is located in a strip mall that has Pho Dao, Đại-Thành Supermarket, Popeye's Louisiana Chicken, T4, etc. The parking isn't too bad. Small place with a couple of shelves full of merchandise for sale. They have a steam table for some food and a kitchen in the back to quickly cook other foods. I came in here to try their breakfast meal of two scoops of garlic rice, a fried egg, tomato & cucumber slices and one meat (Tocino) (3.5/5). It was prepared in about 5-6 minutes. It's usually crowded but not at the time I visited.

Stopped by Tindahan Pinoy since I was in the area grabbing dinner for my toddler. Located in the plaza with Dai Thanh Supermarket, on N. Capital Ave, you can navigate this eatery by its happy emoji logo. Tindahan Pinoy offers an array of authentic Filipino dishes such as: corned beef, milkfish, roasted pork, sausages, spam [IYKYK], noodle dishes, & traditional desserts. Being an obsessed lover of Filipino longanisa, I jump on the rare opportunities I get to enjoy this dish and with it being a best seller, I had to stop by. I placed the order for a longsilog plate which included 4pc of sweet longanesa, garlic fried rice, & a fried egg. Unfortunately, this dish and its sausages didn't do it for me. Factoring in these sausages being considered "sweet" the level of sweetness was not sweet enough for me. My excitement quickly turned into disappointment but maybe I'm just really picky when it comes to my Longanesa... The garlic fried was good- nice level of garlicky flavor and rice was cooked well. The slices of tomatoes and cubed were fresh. 3 stars for this experience. I may not want to return for PT's sausage but there are a few Filipino favorites I'd love to sample. Hopefully those will tickle my fancy.

I mean this really really really ( i can't stress enough) really really is great filipino food. man. second time that i've been here and holy moly i wish it was closer. somehow, someway ive never had lechon. but im so glad this was my first time having it. crunchy and tasty. tosilog was hitting crazy. nice balance to the greasier lechon bc of the sweet. always very good garlic rice and i love the veggies with it. also ordered 2 pieces of turon to bring home to mom. a bit sad bc they gave them to me lukewarm at best so i had to reheat them to really enjoy them but the flavor is amazing. trying my best to not go back next week.,,

They had some Fanime specials for the con (katsu and egg salad sandwiches, spam musubi), seasonal drinks, of course coffees and teas, and non caffeinated drinks, as well as some food too (heated up pastries, both sweet and savory). There's a restroom with a code and a couple seats and tables with outlets to charge your devices. Service was welcoming and efficient especially after the crowds started to pick up. I got the: 1) Egg Salad Sando: -You can tell these were handmade in store. They had cute washi tape to hold the packaging together. -Solid egg salad sandwich. Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. I ended up pouring most of it in a water bottle to enjoy later and put in my bag. But ended up not finishing it in the end. Maybe next year I'll try again or just stick to the food stuffs.

It took about 20-30 minutes for her to come back and take our food order after we placed our initial drink orders with her. Throughout the dinner, her demeanor felt very passive aggressive, and there were several moments where we felt like we were being given attitude despite everyone in our group being polite. My friend asked for extra olives with his martini and she responded with a rude "Really?" while making a face. It was such an unnecessary reaction to a totally simple and normal request. She also recommended that we order family style, which we followed, but the pacing between courses was extremely slow. We waited around 30+ minutes between our pasta and our protein entrees. For a restaurant that specifically recommends family style dining, the courses should be paced more appropriately so the table isn't sitting around waiting for the next round of food. The birthday cake situation was also frustrating. We had given our cake to the hostess when we arrived, but I guess our server was never notified of that. When I asked about a candle, she said she would bring it out with the birthday dessert, but brought out the restaurant's dessert instead. When she realized we had our own cake, she immediately took the bill back and said she needed to add the cake fee. The issue with that was we weren't asking them to cut or plate the cake. We just wanted to sing Happy Birthday, then have it boxed back up. She had assumed we wanted the cake service without actually asking us, and when we clarified, her response was, "Well, that's why I asked earlier," even though she hadn't actually asked us. None of us gave her a hard time or were anything but polite throughout the evening, which made the repeated attitude especially disappointing. The food wasn't terrible and the drinks were great, the restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, but spending around $900, which included a 20% automatic gratuity, you'd expect the service to match the price point, even though service should always be good regardless. Unfortunately, the poor service really overshadowed what was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner for my friend and left all of us with a bad taste in our mouths.

When walking, we missed the restaurant initially because this place is clearly, a hidden gem, especially being hidden along the nightclub strip. We were blown away by the curated vibes. From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. But they only had sparkling lemonade, which actually made it even better. We shared a salad that had some cooked pears and squash alongside the greens, walnuts, cranberries and blue cheese. I do feel like the cooked sweet elements overpowered the salad with their sweetness and textures a bit. Wondering if a refreshing pear for crunch or more dressing could have brightened it up and provided a salty, sweet balance. I ordered the Short Ribs with a parsnip purée and roasted carrots and it did not disappoint. Everything paired beautifully together, perfectly salted and cooked. I finished the entire plate. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

One star, and it's entirely about how the staff handled a serious situation, not the food…read more I was harassed by another patron at the bar -- told to "go back to my own country." That's blatant racism, and it happened while I was a paying customer. Staff did nothing to address it in the moment. Understandably upset and shaken, I had too much to drink afterward. My family came and drove me home safely. Rather than addressing what actually happened -- a customer being racially harassed on their premises -- management's response was to ban me, not the person who harassed me. If a business allows this kind of harassment to go unaddressed and then punishes the target of it for reacting, that's a real problem, not a minor service issue. This is the San Francisco Bay Area. We should expect better than this. Avoid this place if you don't want to find out how they'll treat you when something like this happens to you.
