Our group had reservations on Monday evening and the place was not packed. The cocktails were really good. I enjoyed the two that I had and tried several others at our table. Good drinks and the appetizers were just okay. I was glad to see that they had more choices than just Chex mix and cookies that some of the other bars offer. The ambiance was cute but was lacking that lit feeling of all Christmas lights sparkling. Disappointment that at our 2hr mark they wanted to shuttle us out for the next set of reservations. We would have kept drinking but we would have had to move to the bar when clearly, they had plenty of room with empty tables. Other than that it was nice to visit a NEW pop up bar this Holiday season.

Nothing was great about Tinsel Tavern. The $10/pp admission price was so silly for this. The decor was no more than you'd see in a normal restaurant, our table was dirty, was the drinks were just ok. I'd been a few years ago when it was at Budweiser Brewhouse and this was a major let down. Service was fine but definitely didn't make up for what was missing.

Ballpark Village is a very fun very happy drinking partying music food all the good stuff in life is here at the ballpark Village. They are located right next to the Busch Stadium which is the stadium or the St. Louis Cardinals plane. So when it's game day and there's a party going down at the ballpark Village it's a lot of fun for sure

I attended a conference in St. Louis this summer and our opening night reception was at Ballpark Village. So, my experience isn't "typical" considering the Cardinals weren't playing but this was a fantastic venue! Ballpark Village is very spacious which made it perfect for the 1,000 or so conference attendees. There were open bars and food buffets everywhere, and it was really good food - sushi, salads, tacos, you name it. Service was prompt and friendly. Bonus - they had the Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum open and we got to explore that, too. I imagine it's exciting to watch a game on the big screen here!

Cool atmosphere, literally. A little oasis on a hot day. Walkable from the arch if you're looking for a place to cool down.

I was visiting St. Louis and wanted to to do something "touristy" and landed here. Cool place to people watch and take pictures. Went indoors and played ski ball which was fun. Drinks were pretty weak, but that's to be expected.

This was a great restuarant, Super huge and super fun especially when the home team is winning. Great food and several bars.

Sports bar on steroids that obviously caters to St Louis teams specifically the Cardinals MLB team. The Cardinals were playing out of town but the games was televised on the hugest TV I've seen in a double-decker sports bar. I noticed several places to eat with various cuisines available. Ordered a beer and found that they only serve Budweiser products but being the home brewery in town was not surprized. It appears to be a family place and kids are welcomed. I can not imagine what a pre or post game would be like if the Cardinal were in town. One thing I did notice was the metal detectors at the entrances and the security staff at every entrance. Not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing. Either way I would definitely go back.

Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks... Ballpark Village is the best vantage point for pregame and post game libations. Try the two hotdogs and side for $11 and a 20 oz draft for $7. Not bad for ballpark prices! Go Cards!

I've never seen anything like this anywhere. Right next to Busch Stadium, you'll find Ballpark Village - a huge sports themed dining and entertainment complex where Cardinal fans and dining customers flock to before, during and after the ball game. Check out this lineup of food and drink options - Budweiser Brew House, Cardinals Nation Souvenir Store, Drunken Fish (Sushi and Japanese), El Birdos Cantina (fast food Tex Mex), FOX Sports Midwest Live!, The Fudgery, Howl at the Moon (think high energy and dueling pianos), PBR St. Louis, Tengo Sed (Mexican themed bar restaurant), The Barn at PBR, The Lounge, and The Skybox. Incredible, isn't it? It's like a food court with alcohol on steroids

    C'mon Cards.

What a great place to watch a game (be it baseball, football, etc) especially when the Cardinals are playing out of town. I have only walked through here when there was a game in town (packed) and last night was my first time coming to watch a game. The service was great, the food was good(nachos) and the atmosphere was outstanding. When it got a little stuffy in there, the roof was opened. It doesn't matter where you look, there is a television. Even though the Cards lost, I would definitely come back. I can't wait to try some of the restaurants connected with it.

Ballpark Village is the perfect spot to start your baseball experience. Great food and atmosphere for the entire family can enjoy. The MC got the crowd excited for the game and also gave out prizes. If you're looking for a place to grab food before a Cards game this is a must. I'm not even a Cards fan and still loved it!

Salt and Smoke is soooo good!…read more I got a side dish and an appetizer and they both delivered! My favorite thing at a BBQ restaurant is trying their BBQ sauces with french fries. So I ordered a side of french fries which were beef fat fries giving it a unique flavor. The titles for the BBQ sauces had me googling them to ensure they weren't too spicey, even with the titles the spice levels weren't too high. I tried them all and settled on Hotangy. I also got the toasted Ravioli which is a must have! It's so unique with the flavors and best fresh! Service: Excellent! My waitress was very attentive and kept my water filled. Reservations Needed: It seems like walk in only. Happy Hour: Available on weekdays from 3pm to 6pm (I came outside this window). Outdoor Seating: There's a patio outside with some seating Parking: Downtown garage and street parking

I hate to give it three stars because my husband and I used to be big fans…read more We lived in University City for a couple years when we first moved here, so we were avid Delmar people. And therefore, Salt & Smoke was a regular treat for us. Who doesn't love those giant popovers? But back then, there was only the one location. Eating here was an experience. You sat down and KNEW it was going to take an hour and a half because everything was made fresh. It's not like that anymore. And to be completely honest, we were in somewhat of a rush so I did appreciate that everything came our quick, but.... The meats had obviously been sitting around for awhile and not fresh. The mac n cheese had that great flavor I remember, but again, I could tell it wasn't fresh. And the biggest dissapoinment, which is what I was looking forward to, was the popover. It was cold. And had obviously been sitting around all day. We sat at the bar and service was great. The bartender was fantastic, and took really good care of us. Food was super quick. But it seems they've given up quality for quantity and time.
