    Vernon bowl
    Barbara S.

I absolutely love this place so much. The Vernon bowl is phenomenal, as is the cheesecake. The staff is very friendly and the vibes are immaculate.

REALLY GOOD vegan food. Pastries and cookies also really good. Healthy bowls and salads. I live nearby, and it's hard not to go everyday Only slight annoyance is the slowness in service, and once when I showed up to pick up my order that was marked as ready, they hadn't even made it yet. I'm assuming these are just from the newness of the place, and the customer experience will improve with time. Overall, great spot, haven't had a bad meal after months of going. Super happy they opened

Dark chocolate caramel and peach cobbler

My husband and I came to Portland 6 years ago and first had Rawdacious cheesecake through a restaurant carrying their product. We were so excited to be able to come to the cafe they've opened that has so many flavors and options. Everything on the menu is gluten free and vegan. The cheesecakes are flavorful with a very smooth consistency. It is hands down the best "raw" cheesecake we've had across the US. Today we had the dark chocolate caramel and peach cobbler. They were amazing! We got a bunch of stuff to go. We have been looking forward to coming back to this area specifically for this! Update on to go items: mini cheesecakes were triple berry, almond butter chocolate, lemon fig and chocolate salted bourbon. They were all good but the chocolate salted bourbon was our favorite. We also tried the maple pecan (not our favorite) and birthday cake (subtle flavor, liked it)

Bacon Brussels grilled cheese. It's a good sandwich but don't go in thinking it's a stereo typical grilled cheese. Still good though.

Alright, folks, listen up! I've got some hot gossip about this gluten-free, vegan joint that'll make your mouth water and your wallet scream. So, my dear foodies, let me tell you that this place isn't cheap - I'm talking $100 smack-a-roos for three meals, three cheesecake slices, a peanut butter rice crispy cake, cake pop, and a juice. But hey, don't worry about your allergies, because this place has got you covered! You can order almost anything on the menu without having to worry about going into anaphylactic shock. It's like a safe haven for those of us with food sensitivities! So, if you're feeling fancy and want to drop some cash on some delicious eats, check out this joint. Your stomach and allergies will thank you! Chill place to eat at. Cool employee behind counter.

I didn't think the neighborhood was ready for such a venue when they opened a few years ago. But my first time back put that to rest as the place was packed, they definitely have earned a following. The service is still friendly and the options are creative and delicious. I was surprised at the ample portion of my Peanut salad, I took a portion home to enjoy the next day, so two meals for the price of one in my book. It can be kid-crowded at times so try to find calm moments to enjoy the peaceful seating arrangement. A neighborhood gem.

Sunbutter rice krispy treat, samoa and chocolate chip cookie.

As you can see by the photos I ordered a lot of dessert! I ordered the Samoa, chocolate chip cookie, sunbutter rice krispy and I think every flavor of their chocolates! The service was great, I took a while deciding and they didn't rush me to make a decision! I would definitely go back, everything was great!

    Sweet potato hash

We went here for my birthday. I had the sweet potato hash and then took home a box of four mini cheesecakes. It's a small space, but has delicious vegan and vegetarian food. I recommend checking out this place for brunch based on their menu. Their bus bin was full when we were there, but my one occasion can't be taken as standard. The staff are friendly and happy to help.

    Prescott Bagel

I was visiting PDX from LA and needed a quick bite after getting off the airplane. Tiny Moreso fit the bill perfectly. It is a very tiny shop but do not underestimate the big flavors that come out of it! I had the Prescott Bagel. It may not look like much from my picture but its perfect texture and flavor were memorable.

We hiked this cake through a blizzard to eat it on Mt. Raineer.

Proud Mary in NE Alberta St, Portland…read more I was excited to come back home to Portland and hit up all my favorite spots in this week but I had to choose carefully because I wasn't taking on the Portland food scene alone, I'm bringing a friend with me who has never been to the city at all. I needed to set the bar high from day one. Proud Mary on Alberta Street was my first move, and it provided a light but delicious first meal paired with great espresso drinks. (And I needed to set the bar high for coffee in town because this friend own her own coffee shop in LA) This is the kind of place I bring people to when I want to show off what this city does best a casual environment with interesting food that doesn't take itself too seriously, in a space that just feels right. I went with the oatmeal and a side of hash, (a hash that has such a unique texture that I think about it pretty often now I love a unique potato eperince) but execution of the seasonal flavors in the oatmeal surprise me every time in the best way. They pay so much attention to detail of he flavor and presentation and that makes even humble dishes feel more special. My friend ordered the spring omelette and it was simple, it could have used a bit more flavor or texture or even an additional protien source but it was good non the less. When our cappuccinos arrived first, I remembered this is an Australian-owned café. Served with a dusting of chocolate powder the way an "apparently" proper Aussie capp should be. Both cups were genuinely excellent. For vegetarians, the menu gives you real options with actual thought behind them and of course their are so many dishes with meat that everyone can love, so that's a huge win for me Who it's for: first-time Portland visitors, coffee lovers, anyone who wants a brunch spot that earns its reputation. Strong start to any trip. Veg selection | Flavor execution | Value | Staff knowledge | Ambiance

The kind of place where you expect someone to be editing a documentary on a laptop made of recycled aluminum. Late afternoon visit, so the hipster crowd had clearly skateboarded back to their respective creative labs. I had the place to myself. Prime auditing conditions. First impression? This place is built for volume. You can tell. Efficient layout. Assembly-line potential. If bowls were a factory sport, this would be a playoff team. Ordered the Home Grown. Took a quick bathroom break. Came back and -- boom -- bowl was already on the counter. FAST. And it looked elite. Then I saw it. A generous dollop of peanut butter at the top, sprinkled with hemp seeds. I almost got emotional. It felt like flying over your hometown after months away. Familiar. Safe. Right. First bite? Delicious. Smooth. Creamy. Almost like frozen yogurt or soft serve. Easy eating. Crowd-pleasing texture. And then... I looked up. Another bowl was being made. The açaí base was coming out of a soft-serve machine. As a purist, this one hurt. I want hand-scooped. Blender-blade symphony. Crafted, not dispensed. I had a small internal crisis. But here's the problem: I really enjoyed it. So now I'm torn between my values and my taste buds. Would I go back? Yes. Would I wrestle internally again? Also yes. Rating 3.8 / 5 Açaí Berries Breakdown * Taste: 4.3/5 * Ingredients: 4/5 * Consistency: 4.5/5 * Purist Pain Factor: High * Speed: 5/5 Current Status: Machine-Made But Memorable Lesson Learned: Sometimes the machine wins.
