To be honest I've driven past this place for over year. Always saying to myself I have got to try this place and see what the tiny pie hype is all about. Well I finally visited and I was pleasantly surprised. First keep in mind this is a tiny shocked there is no seating. When you first walk in you'll see a large report that will show all the pies being served that day. I noticed that they are serving coffee and saw all the coffee accoutrement on the counter. The staff was friendly and quickly treated me and told me about their product. The little pies are cupcake size and the box is used to store them look exactly like cupcake box containers. They have a large selection of pies but I used some constraint and limited myself to the apple pie, the lemon pie, chocolate peanut butter pie and the cherry pie. I ordered all these pies thinking to myself that I would come home and share them with my family members. In all fairness I did, but I did get two apple pies. This place serves tiny pies with big flavor I was thoroughly impressed with everything I tasted. All of my family members were really impressed and wanted to know where I got them. It's fair to say this place makes great pies. The home made crust and quality ingredients shine through. The only Issue I have is that the Tiny Pies are expensive. I might order these for small dinner party but never for an office party due to the cost. I would recommend this place because they make a quality product. read more

Tiny pies but big flavor doesn't have the full meaning until you try one of these pies. We had the coconut custard and the chocolate cream. The coconut may have been the favorite but the chocolate was very good too. It had a darker chocolate flavor that wasn't too sweet, hard to describe but delicious to eat. The coconut was just perfect, with lots of great coconut flavor and creamy goodness. Their crust doesn't look like it will be flaky, it looks kind of sturdy, and it does a great job of holding in all that delicious filling. I sampled the Texas Two-Step and then ordered the Chocolate Cream. Both were solid, but not special. The crust was the best part and there was too much of that. Do I contradict myself? Very well then. I probably won't make it here again. I miss Royer's Pie Heaven. Sad they closed. My sister was the one who turned me to these wonderful tiny pies... She kept going on and on about how flaky and buttery the crust was and how great the pies tasted. I was a skeptic and thought she was exaggerating... I mean really, how good could these pies be?? I've had dozens of pies before, they're all practically the same. I went one day and ordered a couple of items and started with the pecan pie. The classic Texas pie... I was really blown away by the quality of the taste and presentation. They not only looked good but they tasted good! I've had many pecan pies before, they are my favorite, but these tiny pies are delicious. The crust was almost like a croissant because it was so flaky, but it was able to hold up to the hearty filling of pecans. The filling and the nuts was absolutely superb. I don't know how they prep their filling, but the pecans had a really nice roasted flavor that had so much depth. It wasn't just sugary, the filling really highlighted the pecans. Most pies I've had really drown out the pecans with the sugary filling. This did not. They somehow were able to balance the nutty, roasted taste of the pecans with the sweet filling. The chocolate cream pie was also delicious! The filling was smooth, but again, not too sweet. The chocolate really shines through with every bite. And I will also add, that these pies are pretty addicting. Because they're not too sweet, you can easily eat 2 in one sitting! They are tiny pies, but each serving is really substantial. All the flavors I've tried were amazing. The mocha chess pie, the lemon blueberry chess pie, the key lime and texas two step. Been to this place several times now as you can imagine, and the quality and taste is consistent. This place is a gem. I ordered 'Dinner For Two: 2 pot pies + 2 tiny pies' for NYE as my bf & I are just staying home this year due to COVID. I went online on Tue, 12/29/20 to place an order for Thu, 12/31/20 as it's a 48-hr preorder, but it said out of stock, so I called the store to check and they said that the system's just not been updated. I went back in after 5 mins and clicked to order, but it only let me choose one pot pie and not even any options for the tiny pies, so I called back and asked if I could order 2 different chicken pot pies and 2 different tiny pies for 'Dinner For Two'. The lady said yes but system not working so she took my order over the phone (Chicken & Spicy King Ranch Chicken pot pies + Dutchy's Apple & Coconut Cream tiny pies). I asked if the earliest I can pick up is Thu 4pm since that's the time I placed the order with her, but she said it would actually be ready by morning so I can come any time. Come Thu, I quickly went to go pick up during my lunch time, paid and came home. When I came home and saw the receipt in bag, I realized that they rang up the items individually and not as 'Dinner For Two' which is a $2.90 difference before tax. I called and lady named Kayla on phone just snapped at me for calling about 2 dollars (she can't do math clearly) and hung up on me. Giving benefit of doubt, perhaps she hung up by accident as she did not even ask for my name and my order before hanging up, I called back. I told her my name and order this time, and that's when she started making excuses that I called on Wed and did not order within 48hrs. I told her I have the call history on my phone that I called twice on Tue, and placed the order over the phone because online was not working where I couldn't choose the total 4 items. She kept saying the order was put into system on Wed, not Tue, which must have been their fault putting my order into system the morning after. She then said I'm not suppose to choose 2 different pot pies that it can be only 1 kind for both. I explained that the lady on the phone Tue told me I could order 2 different pot pies and 2 different tiny pies and that's how I ordered. She then said I didn't order again on Tue going in circles. Not even apologetic and just accusing me, their customer, as a liar, I was very offended and asked for the owner. She said the owner wasn't available but she'll just refund me $2 where I did not even bother correcting her that it was actually more. Now 2 weeks later, I never got any refund from Tiny Pies. Tiny Pies often falls off my radar but when I do remember to go by I'm always happy and end up telling somebody how great they are. During Covid it's curbside only you can call, park in front and then pick up your order from a table when they drop it off for you. Fillings were all very good, especially the fruit and custard one. Yum! Good things come in small packages! As cliche as it sounds, this is one of the few places that proves why the phrase exists. We found this place completely by accident, and decided to get a few pies to try. Sweet pies I'm used to, savory pies are something I don't have much expectation for. However, I think I would say I prefer the savory to the sweet! The TX Pete was amazing, I've had chili with meat that didn't taste that good. The Samosa had great flavor, and the combination of potato, pea and pie crust was surprisingly excellent. The sweet pies were pretty good, but we literally came back the next day to get the TX Pete again. The decor is adorable, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the pies are cute and delicious. As I was leaving, they said "there are heating instructions". So I ask if the pies are heated and she says "no...my oven takes a long time-15-20 minutes." She did not offer to heat them, and had not told me they would not be warm. I had to take them home, and yes, cook them for 15-20 minutes. They were delicious, but...the lady gave me cold pies. When you walk in, you are immediately entranced by the smell of fresh baked goods. We got 4 mini pies between the two of us (chocolate cream, nutella, lemon meringue, apple) and each was delicious to the last bite. The thing that really stuck out about these pies was the crust.
