Stopped in for a hot white mocha before heading to Armstrong woods. They have some good breakfast options. I definitely want to try the blended drinks next visit.

Delicious spicy breakfast burrito. Pro tip: request it toasted. There's also a wide selection of beverages.

There finally open again, so exciting. Coffee, snacks, breakfast, and decently priced sandwiches that are sorely needed in Forestville.

I've been a frequent visitor if this cafe for a few years now and they've never disappointed! They offer a wide variety of food and drink which all tastes great. They recently renovated the entire place which gave it a nice new look. The place was recently renovated and the staff there are always so nice and remember my order when I visit. Great place to stop by and eat lunch. The cafe is also located close to the Forestville park where you can grab lunch and enjoy nature!

My friends and I went to spend the night at AutoCamp and on our way back home, we found this spot. Little hung over and hungry .... We didn't hesitate to try this place at all. It's a place to grab quick and not fancy breakfast&brunch. Ambience was nice as well as the service. The green drink which contained cucumber, spinach and pineapple juice was refreshing. My Lox tasted good as well but the shake wasn't that good. Long story short..... nice little spot if you want quick breakfast....... I wouldn't mind coming back to support local business at all :)

Great service! Yummy breakfast. I only wish there was a tad more seating in the front with a view of the street because it's a great view!! We will of course be back - a lot!

We love Boon! We have been going to boon for years and it holds such a special place in our hearts…read more It's often a place where we gather for date nights, anniversary dinners and special occasions!! We cannot recommend Boon enough for anyone who may be traveling in or even locals who are looking for a locally owned restaurant. Their menu changes often and it is always a joy to see what new dishes they have each time we dine in. Their staff is incredible and the servers are great at making suggestions. The best of the best!!

Not only were staple long-term vegetarian dishes removed from the menu (polenta lasagna), those that remained were absolutely butchered. The vegan bowl used to be fresh produce from the garden with an incredible sauce that had depth, now it is a tasteless $28 vermicelli bowl that a child could throw together in under 5 min.. Extremely over-fried tofu, no sesame ginger sauce to be found and just a dollop of chili oil on 1/10th of the noodles. The cauliflower appetizer was completely bland and it was very unclear whether it was supposed to be raw or cooked.. We come here (often bringing friends with us excited to share the spot), because it's always been consistently amazing and a good balance of meat and veg options, but it doesn't feel like the new chef is concerned with pleasing the veg customers (though even the presentation on the meat/fish dishes we saw looked messy and unappetizing compared to the past). We gave feedback (out of care/concern, not as "karens") to those who know us there and are hopeful that they'll be heard. We're going to give boon another chance in a few weeks, but i'm not feeling too hopeful after being told we aren't the only regulars feeling the effects of the kitchen changes.

My son had the Swedish pancake, and it was delicious too. My picky husband LOVED their biscuits & gravy. Our experience unfortunately left much to be desired, & I expressed the below as feedback to a server, as when I asked to speak to the manager or owner, I was told she was busy. I was also told that maybe "she didn't realize" about other restaurant events that day when our reservation was taken. As an establishment, please think twice (and maybe even don't take?) large group reservations if you know your kitchen can't handle them on a busy day. No one would fault you for that. Especially since we were contacted to move our original earlier reservation to a later one due to 'two other big groups' at that original time. However, when we did come in at the requested later time, a curt 'just so you know, it'll be a while' statement by our server at the way beginning of the eventual meal was followed up by *zero* eye contact , communication or updates. We had to finally go ask about the ETA *an hour and a half after ordering*, due to extreme hunger, flight times & medication timings in our group. The food was ok, nothing memorable & nothing wrong with it- just that some members didn't receive items how they ordered them. Though we received some very good scones & an apology from the server whom we gave this feedback to (that was nice of her) & I understand from other commentary it's a popular spot, our group would not return.

Nightingale Breads have been on my to try list for a bit. Not sure when I bookmarked this place,…read morebut it was a convenient stop on the drive home! It's a very small shop with a big counter space for ordering and displaying their pastries and bread. It looks like their work area may be behind the counter so to prevent inside crowding, a limited amount of people go in at a time. On Sundays, they have scones! So I ordered a Strawberry Pistachio scone to try and we picked up two Small Chocolate Thimbles to try. For take-home bread, we bought the Forestville French Baguette, Sesame Epi Baguette, and a Country Bird. We also picked up a tea cake to enjoy at home. I can only review the scone and Thimbles since at the time of this review, this is what I've tried. The Strawberry Pistachio scone was not too sweet, which is great. I like how the pistachio bits add flavor to it, kinda wish they added more pistachio. I'm not sure I personally like the strawberries since they're kinda mushy, but my partner really liked the addition of strawberries because it's like adding cream to a biscuit and this scone was more like a biscuit than a scone (in our opinion). It's buttery, airy, and light, but it's pretty good! I think the Thimbles were better though. I can only describe it as a fudgy brownie with a thin crusty outer layer. What a decadent little treat! I can see why this is a local favorite! Their pastries are delicious. I can't wait to see how the bread tastes like and I'm glad we stopped by to pick up some goodies! Service was really friendly and they even have free stickers up in the front!

Adorable little bakery located in the tiny town of Forestville, CA!…read more We visited Nightingale Breads on a Saturday, which meant we were in luck, as its rotating specials were calling our name. The line was out the door and took a while to get in, but once we made it inside the small space, we were greeted kindly by the staff and treated to great-looking bread and pastries. We picked up a baugette, a seeded loaf, a pluot tea cake, and some chocolate thimbles. The chocolate thimbles are truly amazing, and I would come back to get a thousand of those. They are like the best brownie you've ever had in a little bite-sized delight. The bread was also good- on par with many other small local bakeries I have visited. The pluot cake was very nicely done with great texture and fresh pluot topping. It would have gone great with some vanilla ice cream. I'd imagine Nightingale Breads is the type of place where everything is delicious. I don't think you'll miss here.
