Menu consist of 2 items: shawarma wrap or grilled chicken (1/2 or 1 pound). I opt for the shawarma wrap with fries! The charcoal chicken is a game changer for this wrap. Flavorful, not dry chicken!, and packed with meat. I love the sauce that pairs with this which only enhance the meal more. The fries were crispy! The shawarma wrap exceeded my expectation + was 2 meals for me with how large the wrap is. Line is long esp during business hours, limited seating, and limited parking. The other side of the restaurant is their juice shop! Service is friendly!

We went during their soft opening and they ran out of food so the manager kindly let me know I can still get a free sandwich (which is really more like a shawarma) if I come back. So I returned the week after and he kept his promise. I do think that the wait times were pretty long, especially for an order that's rather simple. I think from the moment we walked in, it took us 45 mins to get our food. The sandwich itself was okay, a bit dry in my opinion. It did come with sauces though. I wish they had some non-sour sauces. The whole meal just felt very sour. They do give you a ton of fries though. I also purchased their Habibi bowl, which is like a smoothie with avocados topped with fresh fruits, honey and pistachio. It's super unique and delicious! I would go back for this. My management seems very kind and if they can work on being faster, I think they would do well.

My friend and I had heard about this place on the TikTok and wanted to give it a try! It was everything we wanted! We got the Schwarma Wraps because that's what the hype was, and it did not disappoint. It was delicious and huge! We both had a hard time finishing our meal. The fries were perfect and tasted really good after a long walk. The service was great and the ambiance was really pretty! We really enjoyed the fresh juice that they have to offer as well!

I'm always a bit skeptical of new restaurants that pop up who obviously pay for big social media marketing campaigns, such as the case of Tio Pele. However, I was interested in giving them a try given their unique approach to blending Brazilian and Lebanese cuisine. I was specifically interested in their take on a shawarma given the lackluster shawarmas I've experienced in the NoVa area. I've found that most places tend to water down their toum sauce in order to appeal to a wider audience who may or may not be accustomed to bold flavors. So I'm always in search of an authentic, punchy toum. Tio Pele delivers on that aspect. However, the shawarma sandwich I ordered was disappointed in that they seemed to just used chicken breast cooked over charcoal which left the chicken a bit dry and under seasoned as opposed to using a mix of breast and thigh over on a spit. The fries and sauces were great. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had plenty of seating and parking. I will likely be back to try their Brazilian dishes, but I may skip the shawarma.

So, I decided to pull up the nearest breakfast spot and ended up here at Olive Lebanese Eatery. The menu had a lot of options for breakfast! I decided to try the Lebanese Scramble w/Wheat toast and a Lebanese Mint Lemonade. My food was seasoned to perfection and tasted amazing! The drink was not overly sweet and the mint was fresh! Seating is available inside and on the patio. It is a small spot but service was great and they were knowledgeable with the menu and offering suggestions. This will definitely be a fave for me whenever I am back in the area! I hope to try their lunch menu soon! The pricing was great and the atmosphere was relaxed and fairly quiet. I had a high table next to the window for a view! I walked here but Im sure parking is available on the street. It's kind of tucked off behind a building but you cant miss the red umbrellas on the patio!

We only ordered drinks, and to start, we had the pistachio espresso martini. It was so delicious. The rim of crushed pistachios was the perfect touch. My second drink was the lemon elixir, and although I'm not a fan of the tartness of lemon, I did really like this drink. I think the creaminess overshadowed the tartness for me. My last drink of the night was the orange dreamsicle. This was definitely my favorite out of the three! It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and had a creaminess to it that I enjoyed. On top of the tasty drinks, we had an amazing waiter! He made sure to explain all the drinks to us and he was very accommodating. I'll definitely be back to visit next time I'm in the area!

The espresso martinis were a little too sweet and taste more like chocolate milk than a martini. My favorite dish of the night were the fries, everything was decent at most. Not a single dish stood out to us in any way. We tried the Octopus, lamb shank for two, chicken kebabs, and tzatziki dip. The lamb was bland and needed salt while the chicken was super bland and dry. The octopus was OK and the tzatziki was decent. The fries were the only really tasty dish of the night. I'd skip Layli as not one single dish made us want to come back, especially for the price. The sandwiches are pretty big you can probably share one between two people especially if you want to get a dessert. Beef egg & cheese sandwich - my husband got this one and it's a nice breakfast sandwich it has really nice spices in it which make it different from other breakfast sandwich places. Kafta sandwich - this was perfect for lunch the flavors are really amazing. The baked desserts were hit or miss I'll come back to try some more. I wasn't the biggest fan of the flour used. It was pretty busy on the weekend, but we still managed to find parking and a table. People work on their laptops there so the turn over is slower. The inside is a bit cramped, I did have a little anxiety because there's really no space between you and the person next to you and there's just a small path to walk around. Parking is around back of the building, it has signs up that it's parking for that building only. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.
