This restaurant is actually really big and cute inside! Super unassuming. They have a very large menu with all of your typical Mexican food. Unfortunately they stop serving breakfast items such as chilaquiles after a certain time. I got the chile relleno plate which was very good (7/10) My friend got the enchilada plate which was good too. The prices are a bit high, for lunch I ended up spending almost $40 which is alot.

I use to go to the Eastvale location before they closed down, and I've been to this location about 6/7 times now, and the food is always great!! I always get the chile relleno plate, and my partner gets some good plain asada tacos. Perfect place for dinner and picky eaters !!!

We ordered the 2 cheese enchiladas and a hard shell been taco and margaritas

Thought I would do a review for Tio's. My wife and I, have been coming here for a few months. We decided to try it since we live so close. This place is great, good food, and the margaritas are GREAT! When you get a chance, stop by and try it out!

Lid of a 2 ounce salsa container next to the beef taco for reference. These are tiny!!!

This place has really gone down hill in the last few years. The customer service used to be good here and I used to frequent this restaurant often but with this recent experience, I'm debating if I ever want to return here. I ordered 4 taco Tuesday tacos and one quesadilla. The size of the tacos are so small now, it's comparable to the mini tortillas now instead of full size like they once were. I can forgive them for that because times are tough, but what was inexcusable, was the fact that they didn't want to give me a to-go lid for a 3 ounce container of those pickled jalapeños/ carrots. I asked twice, both times I was argued with that "to go" orders get salsa when I get my order. I understand that but I didn't get salsa. It was pickled carrots. Still, they refused and when my husband explained further what he needed the lid for, The girl at the register handed him a stack of lids as if to say, "here! Get out of my face. " What made me laugh was that she handed him a stack of the wrong size lids. At this point I was irritated, so I took my food and let them have their wasted carrots and jalapeños by leaving everything on the table. I understand these people feel the need to penny pinch, but this created more waste by arguing instead of just handing me a lid in the first place. I won't return here. Thanks for being petty. By the way, they only gave 2 salsas for 4 tacos and one quesadilla.

The fries were aaaaaamazing, very fast service and very kind employees. I love the seating style, you order and choose where you want to sit, they bring you the food to your table number. The bar is a nice touch, sometimes they do live music.

This is a hazard people need to wear hair nets because there should not be hair mixed into the food.

Love their chile relleno and their refried beans. But best of all the bartenders are awesome.

Order the shrimp tacos with a Cadillac Margarita. Perfection! If you happen to visit when they have a live band you'll be impressed.

What I always order (and I'm boringly consistent) is Two hard shell shredded beef tacos with rice and beans. The tacos always arrive with the perfect amount of meat, crisp lettuce, and a tasty amount of cheese. The shell stays crispy and never turns into a soggy tortilla which is a win! Rice is fluffy and well seasoned. The Beans are creamy, savory, and basically soul-warming! I can never finish the beans the portions are good. The Hubby gets the carne asada burrito, which is so huge it could double as a pillow after a long day. He swears it's delicious and I've "sampled" a bite and yes, the flavor is there, very satisfying. Chips and salsa come complimentary even with to-go orders! It's around $32 for my taco plate and the carne asada burrito is a bit more but you're getting a lot of goodness for your bucks. We always order take-out, and somehow - somehow - the food lands back home still warm. Magic? Maybe! We've never eaten in so I can't speak to the dine-in vibe. Reason being it is a tiny restaurant but it always looks clean and has a sitting area for to-go orders. My only tiny gripe when we call to place an order, there are moments where I'm on hold while the staff seem to have a full-blown conversation. Ten minutes later, they remember I'm on the line. It's not a deal breaker, just a "huh, okay" moment I file under "worth the wait for the fix." Bottom line: Expect satisfaction from El Chilitos. It's my dependable, no-surprises, "I'm craving comfort Mexican food" go-to. Consistent quality, reliable flavors, and a taxi-cab of a burrito. My pictures are horrible but I promise to eat there again and share more!

When ordering the lady asked my boyfriend if he was okay with cilantro, onions, rice okay in the burrito and he omitted the beans. One thing she never asked is we wanted hotsauce on the food. Because when I got my tacos and he got his burrito, it had hotsauce. I think this is something they should ask if you want when you are ordering. What if someone is ordering for a kid and they don't like hotsauce. I say this cos I don't like hotsauce. My boyfriend had to bring to back and they have new tacos with no hotsauce. Another thing that is a hit or miss here are the chicharon. Our chicharon was both crunchy and soft. I noticed it depends what time of day you go and you also know by how much chicharon they have left (you can see it on the display). I like how they have the toppings in a little bar where you can get (hot sauce, pickled jalapeños, cilantro and onions). It is a small restaurant. They have some seats indoor and outdoor. And they even have a tortilla lady in the corner making fresh tortillas.

The tacos are really good and packed with flavor, and the burritos are just as solid, big portions that actually fill you up without feeling overpriced. You definitely get your money's worth here, which is hard to find these days. One of the best parts is the salsa bar. They have a good variety of salsas, and all of them taste fresh and delicious, not watered down like some places. You can really customize your food depending on how spicy you like it. The only downside is there's no kids menu, so it might be tough if you have really picky eaters. But if you're just looking for good tacos, good burritos, fair prices, and a taco spot to grab a quick meal, this place is definitely worth checking out.
