Just to have them not dry since I didn't want to pay another $20.00 for gel polish I wanted regular polish so in the car they were all messed up, I even asked if it was safe to leave, she said course honey they dry. parking is so hard around that area, the owner is so disrespectful and to say the nicest possible thing when she wasn't bossing around/yelling at her co-worker that was my only time to not feel anxious at this nail spot now I see why it's always empty read more

Let me start by saying, "Thank You Donna!!" I've had an ingrown toenail on my big toe for years, and because I am not one that likes to go to the doctor, I've just dealt with the pain for years, until my daughter suggested I try to get a pedicure and maybe they can possibly help with the ingrown toenail. Well, we found Donna through Yelp, and when I called to ask if she was able to help, she said yes, and I can tell by her caring tone of voice that I was able to trust her. I headed over to her Nail Salon, n was pleasantly greeted upon my entrance, and felt welcomed right away. Donna was very professional and careful with my issue, and I kid you not...... I am now pain free because of Donna!! As well as my toenail issue, I got pedicure done followed by a hot stoned massage on my feet, while seated in a massage chair, gently massaging my back, and sipping on a nice cup of hot tea that Donna offered me! I feel so lucky to have found this Salon and Donna. I'm hesitant to even write this review because it feels like my best kept secret but she deserves the loving. I've visited her a salon a few times now and every time it's consistent and quick. Donna knows I hate sitting in that chair for more than an hour and she gets to work on me right away. She only takes 1-2 clients on at a time which makes for a speedy appointment with her focus being on you. I also love that she is text savvy. She'll text me if I don't make my follow up appointment and check-in on me. This is one of my favorite touches as I tend to be super busy with an unpredictable schedule. She's always able to fit me in and like I said above I'm so lucky to have found her and this salon. I've lived in the area for 7 years and has had the hardest time finding a spot. Small and cozy salon ran by Donna. The shop was easy to find and clean inside. During the service, I felt Donna was quite ruff on my nails during the cleaning and filing, but I assumed she knew what she was doing since it's was more than a month since I've had my nails done professionally. To my dismay, the next day the skin directly under my nail bed became inflamed, frayed and began to peel. My nail tips also started to break confirming that she had filed them down too thin. Never had this ever happened to me. Very disappointed to have paid over $75 for this type of mani and pedi. read more

I've yet to find a pedicure that's any better and that's because of LENA! I go here just to see Lena and get a pedicure. I love that she doesn't try too hard to force a conversation - she lets you relax!! I've yet to have Donna do my nails, but I find her a bit overwhelming and pushy when I just want to sit and relax! Maybe it's because I go at the end of a work day and I do not want to talk lol. I'm pretty grumpy in fact so it's all me and it's tough to find salons that do minimal small talk. That's a good start up idea maybe? Introvert salons? no? well, Ok. Once Lena takes over it's great! Walked around Burlingame Ave checking all the nail salons, when I got to Tip&Top, even though Donna was busy with a customer, she engaged with me and made me feel welcome to make an appointment, so after checking out one more salon where everyone was too busy to notice me, I came back and made an appointment for myself and my granddaughter. So happy with our pedicure experience. The salon is clean and very cozy. Donna took her time and made it a thoroughly enjoyable experience, with a leisurely soak, foot and calf massage with hot stones, sugar and callous scrubs, and finally, beautifully painted toenails. Donna is THE EXPERT in silk nails!! I am so glad I found her! She is knowledgeable, friendly and gives her honest opinion for what is healthiest for your nail. I am a nail biter (eek!) and she was able to give me a full set of silk nail wraps that look so natural, no one would ever know they aren't my real nails. Donna and her team were super friendly and accommodating- welcomed me with a drink, had massage chairs and even a charger for the phones. I loved their large selection of nail polish (and gel polish too) and was able to pick a colors that matched both hands (gel) and feet (regular). My mani was on-point and their attention to detail for the shellac was outstanding. My pedicure was great too- they paid special attention to my calloused feet and I left with soft, pink and pretty feet!
