We asked her if she can start doing for one of us, only to be looked and stared. Another staff was attending a lady, I asked her politely if she can remind the owner that we have come, been waiting and its oir appointment time. My friend chose a nail paint which was on their counter, she was told it is another customer's, she cant use it. And then the owner lady asks my friend to 'put' the nail paint in the rack. Why the hell would you ask us to do that? My friend obliged and put it back, she was heckled in their native language. 3. The job was done in a most unsatisfying manner, we didnt want to argue and ask for more, just wanted to get done with and leave asap. Once I reached the counter, she loudly DEMANDS us to give a tip to her as we 'used' her services. We were shocked the way the lady reacted and said politely that we didnt feel like as we waited for more than 15 mins post to the appointment time, had to remind her we were present early. But I've come back because: - the owner and her staff are attentive, nice people - the location is convenient to many of the places I go - her pedicures are amazing! You get a wonderful massage with your pedicure - finally the polish job is really good. I rarely get shellac as it strips my nail bed but I find the look of regular polish is not as good as shellac. I've been looking for a new place near work so I purchased a groupon for a mani/pedi here. I wasn't expecting anything too fancy, just a simple place to get a quick manicure and pedicure, but was a bit disappointed with my overall experience. I made an appointment to ensure that I would be able to get a spot. When I walked in they were pretty full so I had to wait 5 minutes which wasn't a big deal. I sat down in the massage chair, which was comfy. However, as soon as I sat down some others came in, and even though they were busy working on other people they offered to take the people who walked in. This is where things went a little wrong. Because they were taking almost everyone who walked in there were two people who were running back and forth between everyone to work on their nails or give them a wax. This meant you never really got full attention and were left with half a hand manicured while you waited for them to come back to finish the other half. Because they were rushed the manicure was a little sloppy. One of the women was in a hurry to manicure my hand and actually made my index finger bleed a bit from working too hard. Additionally, my nails were not cut evenly and the nail polish started chipping the next day because the top coat was not evenly placed. I ended up being so frustrated I walked out as soon as that top coat was on because they went to go work on someone else and I knew it'd be even longer to wait. Wasn't off to a great start, my mom and I had a 630 appointment for pedicures and we had to wait 15 minutes before they even seated us. Both of the workers were busy with customers but they still could've let us sit in the chairs and let our feet soak (and almost all the chairs were open). But in the end the woman that helped both my mom and I was really good, especially when doing the massage. My mom had a Groupon but I decided to pay normally since I was getting gel/shellac. And gosh dang that was the cheapest I've ever paid for a gel pedicure, $33!! Since the location is close to my work, I decided to make an appointment and get a pedicure done during lunch. Strangely enough I've never been there before but heard great things! When I walked in, they already had prepared the seat, water was running and all I needed to do was just sit & relax. They turned on some relaxing music right next to me, offered me water & went to work. The girl was very gentle since I have super sensitive feet. There was also an injury on my toe (fell off after I injured it) but she made it look like it was actually semi-normal lol EXTRA POINTS FOR COVERING THAT LITTLE STUMP! Before I left, they inspected my toes and triple checked that it looked good, even corrected some of the toes. I would give a zero star if there's an option. I went there today which is my first time. There were only 2 customers with 4 staffs, which. Looks like they are have a mani and padi. When I walked in, the lady who seems to be the owner who asked me what service I want then told me to go pick up the color and hurry up! I was a little surprised then walked to the shelf and picking up the color I wanted. She kept yelling at me to hurry up like I was her employee which was already annoying. And she said she has another appointment coming soon!(You could just tell me that you don't have availability today in a nice way, I would have left and come back another time with appointment. Not like you want all the customers but not taking care of any!) After I picked the colors, she told me to go sit there myself and soak my fingers in the water. I was already very unpleasant at that time. 10 mins later when she came, I showed her the picture of the nails that I wanted on my phone, and asked her if the color I picked are the close enough to the picture. She yelled at me and saying I go pick up my color, she doesn't take care those for a regular mani. Then I pointed at a color from the gel board, she said if you want this color is $15 more. I told her I'm ok with paying extra I just want to have the color that is close to the picture I showed her, then I asked her again if this green is close enough, she threw the sample in front of me and yelled, "you look at it and pick it yourself, I'm busy!" I was really shocked and asked her if she's ok, she sounds like having a really bad day. Then she yelled back and didn't changed any of her attitude. So I just left with half cleaned nails. I went to the same salon in Bellevue for 15 years and was looking for a replacement, but never expected to find service like Jenny offers. You enjoy a wonderful massage chair while you soak in the jetted foot spa followed by a gentle and thorough pedicure. Before applying your color, Jenny gives you an exfoliant scrub, hot stone foot and leg massage, and a hot towel treatment. OMG! And Jenny has a great sense of humor. When I finally inquired about Jenny's price, I could not believe her answer: $25.00. Unbelievable. She is definitely undercharging. Great place! It seems that there is a new owner of this place she just started last month. The place was empty when we arrived, looking for something to do as we dropped off clothes next door! We got pedicures. The place was clean and the tools were sanitized, huge plus in my eyes! The nail polish colors could use a bit of organizing and updating but other wise pretty good, many china glaze, opi and a few others. The pedicures were great! I had the owner she was very nice and thorough! They included your usual with a scrub, a hot stone massage and a regular massage. Her massage was fantastic! The massage chairs were also really great! There are 8 pedicure seats and 6 manicure seats with waxing room in the back. As we sat here the place soon filled up which seemed tricky for the 2 workers. They kept asking if I needed to be somewhere...all in all a back fill and simple toe polish change ended up taking near 2.5 hours. The salon is very clean and you can tell they sanitize correctly. They were very detail oriented when it came to my nails and spoiled me with nice massages. I came in on a Saturday and they were pretty much empty. I was seated right away. I asked for a shellac manicure. I felt like I had to watch the woman doing my manicure vigilantly because she kept making mistakes. She didn't file my nails so they were all even. She missed the sides of my nails with the clear and colored polish. She didn't let me leave my hands under the light for the appropriate amount of time. I had to correct her over and over again, which does not make for a relaxing experience. Finally, for the hand massage at the end, instead of using the pump to pump out lotion from the bottle and apply it to my skin, she pulled out the lid and smeared product on me with the tube that brings lotion from the bottom of the container out through the pump. This is NOT sanitary!!!! It brings all their cleaning practices into question! I stopped her immediately, wiped the product off with a towel and asked if I could pay and leave. Well my nails did turn out really nice, I got French tip on my toes and French tip acrylics on my hands. My friend and I were the only ones in there when we arrived and we told them everything we wanted done when we arrived. We were there for about 5 hours! they did each of our pedicures and then someone else came in wanting the same treatment, they both left to treat her while we were left sitting at the chairs. We wound up leaving next door to go shopping while we waited and came back about 45 min later just as they were getting done. While one of them kept working on that ladies nails the other lady did my friends nails first. so we were there for a good 3 or so hours by the time they even got to my hands. Yet the lady who came in after us was in and out of there with a full treatment before I was even started. Now I've been nicked by the drill sander before, that's kind of expected. But my cuticles are completely gone! When she started to apply the primer, I had so many open cuts that it stung so bad I thought my fingers were going to fall off. My fingers were so soar the rest of the day I could barely touch anything much less pick anything up. My fingertips felt bruised on the pads and all the way around the sides of my nail. It's now the next day and it still hurts to touch anything, I'm pushing on my already non existent cuticles causing them to bleed all over again. I've never been in so much pain from having my nails done and I paid $80 for everything including a $10 tip... not deserved at all. read more

GO TO ROSE NAILS ACROSS THE STREET!!!!!!! I have been contemplating writing this review for a few weeks now. I have been a loyal customer here for over 10 years. In the past few years it has gone through a few new owners and finally the new owner has had it for the last couple years. I went in 2 weeks ago to get a pedicure and a full set removed and redone. I walk in around 6:15 and was very insistent that if it was too late I will leave. She was very very insistent that it is alright, she wants to do my nails. I offered to come back the next day she said no not at all it is okay that we do it tonight. I said okay if you insist. She started removing my acrylics by using a plastic nail tip to slice them off it was very very painful and torturous and I kept asking her if there's any other way she can take my fake nails off as I have sensitive fingers. she told me no because we would be here until 9 o'clock if she removed them the proper way. which if you ask me is not my fault, I'm not asking for a painful service just so she doesn't stay late. I offered to leave and come back the next day if it was too late. no matter how much I was saying how it hurts she just kept going not caring that she was hurting me! I am very upset that she would treat me that way after I had been going to her for so long! They were sore for a week! She was getting upset seeing how long it took to finish my service. She kept asking me if I wanted shellac and ive never had it before but because she kept insisting I said alright, so she painted my nails white and toes white because that's what I wanted (after arguing with me to do an ugly off white color because they will fade- so i should just start w dirty white?)In the end she did a sloppy job long story short she charged me $85 for a pedicure and a full set!! That is outrageous! I looked up at the board to look for the prices and no where did I see $40 for each service. I felt slapped in the face! since I had never had shellac I assumed i just learned my lesson, paid it and left. 2 days later I came back to get my eyebrows done telling myself I will never allow her to touch my fingers again after hurting me for 2 hours. she had the nerve to charge me almost $100 for some white nail polish!! Get out of here! what a rip off!! she knew she ripped me off because when I came in the next day for my eyebrows there were like 10 people in there and she looked at me and with so much surprise in her voice she said Wow you came back??!?! Decided to have a girls night while my sister and cousin were in town visiting. I found this place via yelp and was so glad I did. We had wonderful experience! Great service and I loved the hot stone massage that came with both the pedicures and manicures. They stayed late to make sure that we were well taken care of and would have even stayed later while my toenails were drying (we didn't want to keep them any longer though).
