Turkey club sandwich with yummy fries! So good!
    Caroline J.

They recently added on and opened back up, which is great because they needed more seating! Had brunch/lunch here with friends and we all enjoyed our meals! I had a club sandwich and it was good, the bread could have been a little more toasted, but not a big deal! My friend enjoyed her avocado toast. My other friend thought her drink was a little too sweet for her tastes but just be sure to ask how sweet the beverages are before ordering if you are interested in a sweet beverage! We sat in the back new area and it's a little less light back there. Service was good even on a busy morning! I didn't like how they charged for bbq sauce for my fries! I know times are tough but really?

Traveling with our pooch we needed somewhere that allowed pets. We struck gold with Tipsy Bean - food on point, excellent selections, service was exceptional! Patio was inviting and cozy enough to keep our nine month old puppy contained and happy. Kids, Parents and the pooch all left smiling and full!

Stopped by here once on a busy Sunday afternoon and was amazed at how packed it was! Though it was busy, the hostess and baristas were very friendly and patient. It is much bigger inside than I expected. I ordered to-go, and decided on the Tipsy Breakfast Sampler which gave me lots of options for my meal. My meal & coffee were ready in under 30 minutes and was very tasty! The portion sizes were great, but I might try another meat option next time instead of the turkey bacon which was extra chewy. The home fries were AMAZING & the pancakes were tasty. I was not impressed by my Butterscotch latte. I didn't taste the butterscotch elements nor was it as sweet as I was told it would be. I've had their French Toast latte before, and would choose that again instead. I'd recommend this cute brunch spot if you're looking to try something new in the Williamsburg area.

Waited about 20-25 minutes to be seated..with many open tables. Wmbg has a server shortage. Ok, this is the only negative comment. First thing, the service was impeccable and Thank You Chasity! Stopped in after the "re-opening" and the renovations and extra space looked great! Started with poinsettias and deviled eggs. Deviled eggs were good, had a unique taste that we couldnt identify. Wife had the chicken n fries with a side salad and she loved it. I had the shrimp tacos and opted for the side salad and it was Amazeballs! Thank You chef. Also got to nibble on the chicken and it was fabulous!

What a great place! I got the Butterscotch Latte and added schnapps to it. Iced. The service was attentive without being annoying. The ambience is cafe, as advertised. The brisket & sweet potato hash was wonderful. I'd go back!

We had lunch at Tipsy Beans Cafe while visiting Williamsburg and it was a great stop. When we first walked in, I assumed it was counter service like a typical coffee bar. After checking in at the bar, we were told to grab a seat and that a server would come by, which they did promptly. The menu leans heavily into brunch, with plenty of options, plus coffee made just about any way you want it. True to the name, you can also add a shot or a bit of booze to just about anything. Service was fast and friendly throughout. I ordered a breakfast benedict and a mimosa, both of which were excellent. My daughter went with pancakes and really enjoyed them as well. Overall, a great experience and an easy recommendation if you are in Williamsburg and looking for a relaxed brunch or lunch spot.

    Catfish platter $15

4 stars because it's a cluster, no reservations, doesn't pick up the phone, the wait times are ridiculous & not enough space for parties waiting. IT'S SMALL I tried to call in my order but I got the voicemail almost every single time. Finally, after calling about 10 times I got through and placed my order. They told me the wait was going to be about 15. It was about a 10 min drive and when I got there, I still had to wait. There wasn't space for me to wait so people thought that I was waiting in line each time they walked in. It's super busy, but super small. I waited in the restaurant for my order for maybe an extra 20 mins. So, the wait time was 15 but I waited about 30 mins total. I ordered the catfish platter with fries. They definitely seasoned the catfish and fried it hard. The fries were thick cut and seasoned, but they weren't fried long enough. 3 fish platters cost $50. I would try this place again, but maybe a lot earlier in the day. Because this place is very inconvenient.

Wow if the crowd and the wait are indications of how great the food is, then might as well give a 5 star without ordering, It also helps they were recognized for 2024 Coastal VA choice. Located in a shopping complex with just steps from the Movie Tavern. This location is accessible with ample parking. Seating is available inside, on patio and at the bar. Even for a person walk-in, the wait is more than 20 minutes at 12noon on a Saturday. You heck in and your name and number are taken so they can call you when seating is available. I finally got seated at the bar. Noticed that they not only spray/clean the counter but also the bar stool - kudos! Jessie at the bar was friendly and personable. Lots of cocktail and coffee offerings! Everyone seems to belong to a happy team, interchangeably having each other's backs from calling the waitlist, to bartending, to making coffee. I ordered the Morning After Burger. It was a toss up between that or shrimp and grits, both were marked as favorites. I was able to substitute French fries with fruits, no issue. The burger was delicious. Definitely worth the long drive from VA Beach! Oh, I ordered the tower carrot cake and it was good!

I am so glad I went here this morning! Best breakfast, great cocktails, boozy coffee, amazing staff, interesting menu, clean and crisp dining area! I just felt like needed to lay out the highlights right away. So much of this place made me smile and happy. I got a Bloody Mary well maybe two, alright three geese. Jess my serve was on top of her game, beautiful, sweet, and foresight full. For my entree I was served crab cake egg Benedict! Sooo amazing. I did get a side of bacon but to my surprise I was so full from the eggs Benedict I couldn't finish the bacon!? I unfortunately did not try the boozy coffee but I will next time definitely. Don't miss out on this wonderful Williamsburg gem!

Absolutely love this cafe in Williamsburg. The food is always so good. I had the catfish & cornbread that was a special for the day. My favorite was the apple cider mimosa.

EVERYTHING was PERFECT! SERVICE....drinks.... Food...... I waiter ( forget his name) was beyond amazing! Was our first time and he gave us the run down and checked on us as well as recommended items! Food was cooked with love and drinks were on point! Definitely will be back !!!

When in Williamsburg you need to stop in! Nicely decorated small and cozy. They have an extensive selection of lattes and Coffees and they have a full bar with signature cocktails and shooters, snd by the way the huge list of lattes can come with liquor to give it a punch! So good! I had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. Simple but was so delicious. The bacon was the surprise. Cooked to perfection. Avocado toast has lemon juice chili flakes with 2 fried eggs amazing. My one suggestion is if you get there early it's a very popular spot as it can get very busy and now you now why.

    Crab cake burger
    Euni B.

Deceivingly small establishment from the looks of the outside. Sat at the bar due to the wait. Too cold to sit outside. If you have a a large party this place is not ideal. Name plays off the selection of coffees and alcohol. I tried the almond joy latte which tasted just like the name but I'm not sure if I loved the coconut flakes in it. Ordered crab cake burger which was okay. Being picky ... the tomato slice was very small and thick cut. And the lettuce ... well you see the picture. My friend ordered the deviled eggs. Not impressed with that either. The filling was very runny and looked like they rushed the order. She also ordered the fresh pork rinds. Also subpar for being fresh. Some were so crunchy it was uncomfortable to chew. The staff were all VERY friendly. Possibly return for a drink but maybe not the food.

Shrimp and grits with Andouille sausage gravy.

We weren't sure where the restaurant was located within the building so we stopped to ask where the Terrace a room was at a hostess stand where three women were working. They all stared at us like we had dropped from the sky and then one woman gestured down the hall. Except it wasn't down the hall. We were in fact at the Terrace Room hostess stand. Sort of an odd beginning. We were seated at a two top with one chair and a couch with huge pillows scattered all over that left no room to actually sit. Had to toss them to the center of the couch to squeeze in. The menus are giant in size so it's hard to lay them down on the small table. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We started off with a bourbon cocktail that included some candied ginger and was very refreshing. The server gave us each a small cube of bread and some butter. It was sort of comical how miserly they were with the bread. The menu offerings were sort of odd but we were able to watch what other tables ordered to make our selections. The entree prices are pretty hefty. We each got a Caesar Salad to start that was good. We both settled on the brisket sandwich (a July Fourth special) and one of us got the fries and the other a side of summer veggies that was squash & zucchini. The sandwich was okay but nothing grand for $21 and the veggie side caused us to both explode with laughter at how meager it was. C'mon folks, squash is dirt cheap so load it up. Absolutely ridiculous. Their wine selections were not super familiar to us and pricey but they give you an ample pour. The Inn itself is very beautiful and the night stars shimmering on the reflecting pool out front is very romantic. I'd recommend a drink at the bar and skipping the $200 dinner for two.

It was awe inspiring to think Jefferson and Washington ate and drank here after House of Burgess meetings. We made a reservation on Open Table for an early dinner since we were traveling the next day. (No lunch reservations taken). They are set up in various rooms throughout the house and the servers and staff are dressed in colonial garb. They speak and serve in old school Fashion which is delightful. They even had a gentleman walking around playing music from the time period. I enjoyed a Rummer refreshing cocktail while hubby had an Apple Jack old Fashioned. The drinks average $15. They also have a fine assortment of wines. They brought a bread basket with super fresh bread and mini corn muffins. They also brought whipped butter, a Virginia ham spread and corn relish. All excellent! We saw peanut soup in several places and ordered it here. It was very different. Very peanutty and super filling. I ordered the crab croquettes which were flaky and delicious. The sauce had just a bit of zing and completed the flavor profile perfectly. Our server Lynette was such a sweet lady. I adored her and she even tied the giant napkins for us to prevent spills and mess. (It was super hot though and we took them off eventually) For dinner, hubby got the beef steak. It had a seasoned butter was cooked medium rare, exactly as hubby asked for. The mashed potatoes were creamy and delish. Also came with perfectly cooked stemmed carrots and string beans. It was served in a deep tin, covered in a flakey crust and topped with an over light egg, fun onions and scallions. It also came fresh veggies. So yummy!
