Food is excellent. The cheese corn is great. Pho is good. The chicken is what we came for and we're not disappointed.

I really wanted to like this place but left iffy about returning. We had the wings and although the flavor was good, outside crispy, the inside were too soft for my liking. Needed to be fried about 10 more minutes or so. Took one apart and it was just not cooked enough. Service was good and people are friendly, the ambiance was relaxing and lighting was good. Been to quite a few Korean Fried chicken places in the valley but the vibes and the service stood out here. It was just two of us and we went late on a Friday. It was pretty full so we grabbed two seats at the bar. TU was our server and he was really attentive and proactive. He made our experience even that much better. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner and everything was fresh. Texture of the kfc is a bit different here but not in a bad way. The sauce is less thick too. My favorite part was the rice cake and sausage skewers. I normally love tteokboki but the skewers had a both sweet/spicy flavor so I loved them. Saw a reel, decided to drive up from Tucson to Mesa and we waited..... The place was dark and had basic tables and chairs. Eventually your eyes get used to the lack of lighting Waited for about 5-10 minutes to be acknowledged and have our drink orders taken. Water was in a sports bottle and the receptacle that we drank out of was metal. When we finally ordered we decided to order 14 pieces of soy chicken and original along with bulgogi fries. It took a while to get our order and it was not all at once. First came the corn which my sister in law ordered, then 5 mins later the bulgogi fries. The presentation on both was just that with the heat gun which didn't really crusted up or melt the cheese thoroughly. I would rather have them broil it and get a good crust on the food and evenly and thoroughly melt the cheese. But I suppose we are going for the presentation here. It took about another 15 minutes to get our wings and halfway through eating our wings, My sister-in-law's set (she ordered 14pc also) of chicken came. Not all the food was served at once. I thought the fries were pretty pricey $15+. Pros: loved the soy garlic wings, loved the creamed corn, the fries were hardy, friendly and helpful server, Con: took forever for the food to get to our table, only had two bathrooms and there was a long line for the ladies room, of course, albeit it was a clean stall. Name and brand changed from its former predecessor Po Chicken but it's equally good! Chicken is as crispy as before and the menu I think largely remained the same. We especially loved the corn cheese as the smoky pork belly balanced nicely with the sweetness of the corn and the gooey cheese held it together. Tipsy Chicken is now a public library. Context: I used to work at Tipsy Chicken until recently (I got an internship elsewhere). I love Tipsy Chicken and the crew with all my heart, so it saddens me to write this. I came in to have some food and do some work and was talking with my ex-coworkers when they weren't busy. Around 5 pm, the morning/night shifts exchanged, so more staff are present. Me and others who were off the clock, were sitting around talking, and enjoying ourselves and having fun so we got a little loud, but nothing compared to what Tipsy houses on a weekend night, so our behavior was not out of the ordinary. The store manager, was bringing out food and basically told us from across the restaurant to keep it down because we were disturbing other customers. He then proceeded to yell at us again, but this time specifically calling me out, and saying to keep it down because I am disturbing the other customers. This is absolutely insane to me, because I did not know that in two weeks that I have left the team that Tipsy Chicken has been transformed to a silent public library that serves alcohol and plays loud music. In addition, I am also a customer, and I feel that for whatever reason, the manager didn't view me as such, because if he did, he would not yell at us, or me specifically, to keep it down. If you have been to Tipsy, you know the atmosphere that we have created, which is food, drinks, and fun. People come and drink and eat and are rowdy every weekend. We have even hosted fundraisers for ASU Dance Clubs, where they are dancing on the main floor. So it is incredibly ridiculous for me to get singled out and be told to quiet because I am 'disturbing' other customers. read more

A solid 5! I ordered the Soy and Garlic chicken with a bumpy start as they forgot half my order but they were quick to fix that issue and had friendly service so all is good. Finally a good Korean Fried Chicken joint. Bonchon was an okay quick fix but this place is the real deal. Their chicken is moist and flavorful.
