I just want to give a massive shoutout to store manager Josh. I came in with my Kia Forte having purchased a daylight/fog light and needed it replaced. Since I was in the area I figured I'd give them a shot having called other stores It turns out the bulb I had was the incorrect part, and Josh had an extra piece necessary which he offered to replace for free. This allowed me to return the original product and also not pay for labor. I offered Josh money in exchange for his kind act but he politely declined. They scheduled me for an appointment in the morning the next day and I came in and they worked quickly and efficiently to get it done. I was in and out in maybe 20 minutes or less. I came in this morning tho, like I know I'm not the best looking person in the world but the lady working there was the most unfriendly person I have ever met. I walked in and just glared at me. The whole time and like it wasn't even the fact that she said she had nothing open until 3. I went to firestone across the street and they said I wouldn't get the car in until 5. Tire Choice is the only company I trust with my car. I had a horrible experience with Conrad's where they tried to charge for an alignment they didn't even do. I went to Tire Choice and they confirmed with me that the alignment was never done and the wheel was to left, which I noticed when I left Conrad's the previous day. Josh was amazing and let me know exactly what I needed, he even told me that I needed a tie rod (which Conrad's did not inform me). When I gave the okay he replaced the one that needed it along with the other one since they were having a BOGO on the tie rods and why not replace both at the same time. It was such a breath of fresh air to go in and have confidence in a company knowing that my car is repaired correctly and the work was actually done. All the work was completed in one working day. I should have listened to my gut the first time and avoid Conrads to begin with, but you live and you learn and I've learned to always trust Tire Choice from here on out. He even gave me quotes and a breakdown of the rebates I've earned from this service appointment alone. I've never been more happy with Tire Choice. read more

Very disappointing service. Took the car in for ABS warning light on in Nov 2020 they put a new one in. A week later it was back on. They replaced it on Dec 8th. The warning light stayed on they had a difficult time scheduling me due to failed callbacks on their part. So they were unable to see my car until Jan 4th, 2021 same warning light and found out they had put in a cracked ABS sensor the last time and they had to order the part again, so brought the car back in on Dec 8th for 2nd replacement sensor. The mechanic told me the warning light won't go off for them after replacing with this new one; wasn't the sensor this time but the wheel bearing needed replacing will call back when they have the part. I called them on Jan 11th after no callback and was told that none of their mechanics felt comfortable doing the work and referred me to Bay Village Tire Choice. When I had my appointment in Bay on the 12 of Jan the ABS warning light was still on. I was told the wheel bearing was perfect did not need replacing BUT the Grt Northern shop had missed during their multiple recent inspections (that they do every time a car is brought in) that the Left headlight was out as well as the left license plate light AND the front struts needed immediate replacement as well as the strut spring that was seriously ready to break. How Great Northern Tire Choice (Monro) missed this safety issue is alarming! I will NEVER go back to this particular shop again. read more

Never again will I go to a Monro shop. My last visit for a simple oil change brought many issues to my car following the visit, some even life threatening. I was not told that during my oil change my tires would be taken off to check alignment, and brake pad degrading. This is where things went south. Later that week I started hearing a loud thumping noise which ended up being a LOOSE TIRE with a bit of corrosion. How does someone miss this???! I brought my car to a Firestone when I heard this noise and they said my tire was wobbling and if I were to keep driving it would eventually fall off! That is life threatening and scary that one of your employees did not torque the tires to the correct level. Very disappointed and will continue to make sure others don't get in the situation I did by visiting Monro. read more

Don't go here if you want fast service. I walked in around 3:45 pm on a Monday. There was one woman waiting. Another woman came in and had to go into the service area to find someone to give her her keys. I asked about getting an oil change, and he told me the wait would be at least an hour. I asked if there was anyone who could just change my headlights, and he told me soooooo many people were waiting and called me, "dear" which I did not appreciate. At another location, I heard a manager say never to schedule online because they won't honor your appointments because the system doesn't check with the location before they schedule you. This experience has taught me no coupon is good enough to get treated like you are disposable. read more

I scheduled an appointment online for new tires, even had the type of tire, size, and cost associated with my appointment. Went in Sunday and I had to reschedule as they would not have got it done in time. I was rescheduled for today, Wednesday. Same thing needed, nothing changed. Went in today and the same person told the new guy taking care of me,"oh we don't have those in stock". If you know I have an appointment and you know what I have ordered, why wouldn't you get them in stock or call me and tell me to reschedule. I brought my car here last April to have my muffler replaced. They had a deal going for oil changes, so I had that done, too. Somewhere along the line, I got upsold for a wheel balance that I probably didn't need, to the tune of $48. It kind of left a bad taste in my mouth, and I am reminded of it every time I get one of their stupid postcards informing me that my car may be due for brakes, or whatever else they have going at the time. I have a friend who replaces my brakes for me, and even if I didn't, I sure as heck wouldn't have them done by Monroe Muffler! read more

Apparently it won't let you give 0 stars. Got new breaks, calipers, and rotors. Somehow they managed to hit the radiator, leak, and my truck break down! Went to Midas to get it fixed, and yep, I even have the photos! $850 for the brakes, then add the $750 for new radiator and labor!! That's $1600 in 36 hours, that I don't have. Cause I had the money to do prevention of issues with brakes, not pay for a radiator, they cracked! Second, I was there for four and a half hours waiting for them to get my front end brakes done! That's a little excessive. Dealing with corporate at the same time is a total pain! Left multiple voicemails, and no call backs! Wasn't till I called the third day, and got connected to operator, to have me connected to an actual person, not a machine. Will never ever go here again, or do anything with this company. Sometimes you do have a long wait but I've never went to an auto repair shop where there wasn't some kind of wait. If I could give zero stars I would. This place is the absolute worst! I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change and when I dropped my vehicle off the guy said it'd be about an hr or so. I figured id do some shopping in the small plaza and grab some lunch. When I returned to monro and hr later my car hasn't been touched at all. I then stood at their little "service" desk and tried to wave down an employee. After 15 minutes one of the workers finally came over and I asked them how come my car never received its oil change when I had a scheduled appointment. He then blamed the guy who I talked to over an hr ago, who was no longer there, and sped thru an oil change. Then he told me it was going to be 45 bucks. When I questioned him about the price and told him that I was told it would cost me 35 not 45 he just ignored me. Talk about horrible customer service. It you like to be ignored and lied to about price then this is the place for you. If this is how they treat customers who schedule an oil change id hate to think how they treat people getting work done on their cars. While being over charged for a simple exhaust repair, I watched a man get a $400 estimate for brakes on a car that was only two years old. I suggested to the man that this should be a free warranty job covered by a dealer. Shame on the manager for even giving him this estimate.
