The woman at the counter was very friendly and efficient to come out and look at the tires. They got me in a bay within 15 minutes and saw that one tire belt had separated internally and showed me. I came in with a nail in my tire and asked if i could get that fixed, they said yes. After waiting for a while someone came up to me and said i have to purchase a whole new tire because they can't patch it due to the fact that i had slime in there from trying to do an at home fix. After that, i went to Discount Tire where they told me it was an easy fix because all they had to do was buff the tire. So i don't know whether they don't know how to do their job or if they just wanted to sell a new $150 tire but i am never going back here again. read more

I brought my car in to get the radiator replaced while we were traveling home from a holiday weekend. Rick the manager told me they would have to take my front bumper off to replace it (when I personally replaced it three years ago and it just slid right out without having to take anything off). He quoted me over $600 to do the job. I had to explain how to change the radiator in my car before he adjusted the price to a standard radiator fee. He then told us it would take 2-3 hours since there was a car before ours. 4 hours later we are still waiting on our car, and Rick just told us it would be another hour before it was done. The customer service at this location is a joke. While we were waiting, we could over hear the staff (Rick included) talking rudely about customers as they left. I would never recommend this location to anyone, even if you are stranded on your way home. read more

Took my Mercedes in to get a flat tire patched after the hurricane debris got the best of it. The closest dealership is 30 miles away & I wasn't about to drive the spare tire 25 miles down a highway. Had my truck here last nov.2017 for 4 sets of tire replacement. Everything was explained verbally but they dont show you the breakdown of your bill until you pay them. So when I saw the bill print out they charged me with such and such labor charge or doubled disposal fee.. so before you guys pay ask them for a print out of the job order with the amount of the said labor and what are those. The tires I got is good (Sumitomo brand). One of the advisors told me they already did the wheel alignment but when I asked for the print out of the alignment they had nothing to show me and said just bring in the vehicle next time since I paid or availed the 1yr. Free alignment. And the tire markings where they supposed to be align with the steel rims are off. Overall I would not recommend this establishment not unless you're availing their installment program with no interest for 12 mos. read more

Have gone way down hill!! Not sure why, but thus used to be the go to place for great service on all my vehicles. I always schedule an appointment to have my oil changed. But it seems that appointment's mean nothing at this establishment. The last 3 times, I have waited over an hour from my appointment time, before my vehicle even went in to the bay. So why bother to make an appointment? 3 strikes and you are out, as it stands, I am sitting here now, waiting for my oil change, I had an appointment set for an hour and a half ago, and still my vehicle hasn't been in the bay. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Absolutely amazed at how great we were treated. We were in a long trip and our tire popped on the road, this was the nearest tire shop at the moment and everyone there quickly helped get it fixed and even helped my husband with some tools to put it back on. We had our 2 toddlers with us and staff was very helpful and friendly in keeping them safe while there. I was overwhelmed with their generosity and customer service, they even scanned our vehicle just to assure us we were good to continue our trip. Definitely recommend. Made an appointment on line for an oil change 3 days in advance. 3 hours before the appointment I was called and told my appointment was being cancelled because Mr. Johnson "CALLED" the store for an appointment and people who call are given priority to those who book on line. There was apology or offer to reschedule. I told the man I thought this was very unfair, his reply was "it may be unfair but that's the way we do it. You can call back & make an appt for next week." WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER! This is not my first bad experience with the same guy... I walked in the week before to ask if it was possible to get an oil change. I was rudely greeted with, "do you need some air or something?' and then told I would have to call at a later time. This guy has no people skills at all. After my cancelation I called the TK in St Augustine, told them what happened. They asked me to come ASAP. We had a tire come apart (with no spare)while traveling to Orlando and lucky for us the closest exit was Palm Coast where this Tire Kingdom was located. We had pulled into the Gate gas station to try to figure out what to do and when I called Tire Kingdom they were very nice on the phone and told us to come right in because they could help. I believe the man we worked with was Mark and he was great. I explained that we were on our way to move our son into UCF and he was already there waiting for us. We had our expedition full of all of his things. Mark was very understanding and got our truck taken care of in about an hour. We are so thankful to him and everyone in the store who worked on our vehicle. read more

We located the nearest tire places, Tire Kingdom being 20 miles away, about 15 minutes away from where we were. I called to make sure that they'd be open because it was now 5:48pm and we know places close early in the area....the man NICELY said he'd wait for us no problem, I reassured him to look out for a honda oddesey... we got there at 6:03pm, one worker was getting into his car and pulling off quickly as another was boo-loving in front of the doors of the company with his girlfriend... pretending to not be aware that we JUST called and asked them to wait for us...mind you, we didn't need them to service the car for us. If I could have given a lower rating I would have...after my amazing experience at the Merritt Island location this happens.... traveling to Palm Coast to see friends the driver side rear tire started to go flat I pull over put air in it goes flat again I get online and find my closest tire Kingdom. Pull in where I wait for five minutes before anybody even comes out of the back garage. Then I give her my keys she says it'll be 20 minutes before anybody can get my car. There was one car in one of the bays with six technicians standing around shooting the shit. I had an appointment and went in for a replacement tire monitor. Even with the appointment I had to wait. This was early Nov 2013. The technician was unable to make the monitor work and messed up my key fobs. The service manager Alex said he could fix the key fobs and the tire monitor. He would need to bring in his personal equipment, and I would need to come back. He fixed the fob, but the tire monitor still would not work. Alex said he had to re-order the part. By this time, I have spend 4 hours @ Tire Kingdom. I made another appointment, but the shop was very busy. I made several appointments for the service manager to work on my car, but he was too busy to honor the appointments. I called again today, Dec 8, and was told to come in at 11 AM. I called just before leaving to see if there was an open bin for my car. Alex said No and he would call back when he could do the work. That was 5.5 hours ago and no call back. I priced tires around town and elsewhere and Tire Kingdom was in the middle of the mix. I made an appointment online and went there the next day. Tire service was fast and they even threw in an extra part needed for the tire sensor. Then I asked (since it was on a lift already) about my brakes. I had them replace my front rotors and it wasn't a bad price. Got everything done that was needed in a VERY timely fashion. The office people were polite and engaged in conversations with us as well as other customers. Tire Kingdom has my business from now on. read more

Dealt with store manager Rick House. He seemed knowledgeable about anything car-related, but that's about it. He really has very little customer service skills nor does his shop have anything to be impressed about. First, he's very unpresentable to customers. Collared Shirt untucked, long undershirt discolored, very poor dental hygiene, pants hanging low, oil-lubed almost black hands. I understand staffing maybe short and the manager has to help out with some tasks but please at least wash your hands if you're dealing with customers at the storefront. Second, he talks about services and current deals but has nothing in paper/pamphlets to show for, saying they "ran out." Customers want to know what they're paying for, especially if it's costing nearly $1000 so that should NOT happen. Third, I brought in a quote from another Tire Kingdom branch and had to convince him to price match it. He did some adding and subtracting on the computer and matched it, but it took several minutes when it should have been an instant price match. Next, when I asked for a time frame he said 1.5-2 hours and that he will call as courtesy when it is finished (even made the effort of asking for my number) . 4 hours later, still no call so I went back to the shop to see for myself. When I got there, they said everything was done except for the test drive that they do before giving the car back. Waited another hour at the shop to be called up but never did. I had to keep asking and just stood by the counter until Rick noticed. They never did the test drive in that additional hour. He just said out loud when he noticed me just staring at him, "oh I can take you now." A total of 6+ hours for new set of tires installation, balance, alignment. It just doesn't make any sense. Last, the store appearance is run down and unclean. Waiting area is untidy with the coffee machines looking like they haven't been cleaned in months and seats being dusty. In other words, Tire Kingdom headquarters would be very disappointed at the quality of this branch. Overall, a BELOW AVERAGE rating!! read more

I had used them once before to purchase a tire, and came back in for brakes, Had a 10:00 AM Appointment and asked them to change my oil too while it was there. When I hadn't heard from them past noon, I called them, for them to tell me that they were waiting on pricing as my shocks were leaking as well as my CV axle. They had not done anything else with the car. They told me my brakes up front needed replaced but my rotors could be turned but my back drums needed cleaned. I asked them to please do that as I was supposed to have the car somewhere else at 1:00. They said they would work on it immediately. I called again at 2:30 and he said they were just finishing it up and would call me when it was done. At 3:30 I just went back up there and it was sitting in the lot, they never called. They charged me for the brakes and the brake flush but put the back brakes as preventative maintenance where they told me that they NEEDED to be done, they really didn't. They also charge you miscellaneous charge of $23 for shop floor removal of whatever...They also charge you removal fees for oil and brake pads all ready. They then gave me a quote of over $600 for replacing the shocks and struts and told me the CV axle was on recall and they could replace that at no charge. I said no thank you and took the car to the Ford dealership across the street. After a thourough check, the Shocks DO NO T NEED REPLACED and the CV axle was also not leaking as they claimed and their "fix" to the recall was only a partial fix as part of the recall and would not have solved any problems other than allowing them to bill Ford for work. This place overcharged and tried to get me to spend an additional $600 for non needed work on top of what I all ready paid for the brakes, which for the record was over $300 and that was with a $50 coupon. The were non responsive and took forever to get brakes done. Save yourself time, money and heartache and go to the dealership, the Ford one on Palm Coast highway has been wonderful and they saved me hundreds of dollars over what tire kingdom was trying to charge me! read more

MAKE SURE YOU INSPECT YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE DRIVING AWAY!! AND IF IT'S DAMAGED...GOOD LUCK!!! Tire Kingdom put my Eclipse on the rack for a simple oil change. In the process they popped the rocker panels off both sides of my car! They didn't even say anything until I saw the panels sticking out 2" from the side of the car. The manager came out and popped the clips back in, in an attempt to refasten the panel and was forcing the clip sideways until I told him stop. Now Tire Kingdom's insurance wants to write a check to me for LESS than half of the minimum repair estimate from a very reputable auto body shop (who is not padding the estimate). Tire Kingdom's insurance adjuster's explanation is that the body shop can request more but the decision to pay is completely up to the adjuster (who is the guy who wrote the low appraisal). REALLY?? Now I can't get a body shop to fix my car unless I pay the difference! You'd think a 10 yr customer would be treated better than this!! So Much For Patron Appreciation! read more

When I got back to their store, he hands me my keys and says I'm all set. They patched my tire in a few minutes at no charge. Wow! Who does that? I laid a few bucks down as a tip for the mechanic. I didn't purchase yet and they didn't carry the specific brand I was looking for but she helped me find where I could get them and get them mounted at Tire Kingdom. I came in for a tire balance and rotation using your online special for 19.99. I was greeted by Brad Jarrett, 159 and he was really helpful. I was wating in the lounge area and he came in to let me know about some other issues the mechanic had noticed with my brake pads and tire wear. He let me know the severity of my situation and was able to suggest services to be done there at the shop. Will, the mechanic went out of his way to balance the tires as best he could and when he found a bald spot on my tire, which also had 3 nails in it, he alerted me right away. He went over and above to get my full size spare down and install that and replace the bad tire in the spare location. He proceeded to suggest an alignment asap and neither of these men were ever pushy. They kindly asked for future business and the way that they conducted themselves is a sure way to gain future and repeat customers. I was very pleased and surprised to find an honestly helpful shop that wasnt trying to gouge me for money or threaten to ot give my car back until it was driveable. Many mechanics do this. I just wanted to write a good review for some good people. I will recommend this shop to friends in the future. Give these men a raise! read more
