At the $139 price tag I honestly had some concerns, but with the Texas summer quickly approaching I gave it a go. I was advised to go early so I wouldn't have to wait too long so I got in around 10am. I was shown the different options of tint and was even given the choice of choosing the not so legal variety. I had some of that foggy film on my windows that I forgot to wash off, but they said it wouldn't be an issue as they clean it off before applying the tint. I was told to come back in 2 hours and when I did I could barely recognize my car with the new tint. Upon closer inspection the job was really well done so much so that my buddy that drove me there, Albert N., set up an appointment to get his windows tinted at that moment. JR's does a lot more than just tint (they advertise on rims, audio and just about anything else automotive you can think of) and with the courteous and professional people there I can't see how you can go wrong here.

Also said he wasn't aware that VW still made the microbuses. I said mine is right out there and he sneered and said, "kinda hard to miss, ain't it." Things went downhill from there as he started in with his criticisms of government from an extremist Maga viewpoint, that windmill blades are running the planet ("Them Chinese melt down the old blades and dump them in the ocean), how the past presidents have let all of "those people," and so much more. No real help and loads of insults. My advice: look elsewhere for your retrofit needs.

Along with a full repaint, there were a number of small to medium maintenance things that needed doing, re surfacing the interior ceiling with new cloth, fixing some minor body issues, polishing and clearing up my head lamps. It was a lot of work, and took about a month - but when I got my car back on the other end I almost didn't recognize it. "Dangerous Work, Zero Accountability -- Warning to BMW Owners"…read more DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE 4.7 STAR RATING. This rating does not reflect the true level of service you may receive and was the primary reason I trusted this shop with my 2018 BMW M550i. That trust was completely violated. Headlight Installation: After pickup I discovered gaps so large I could insert my entire key and keychain between the headlight and body. Moisture immediately entered the new assembly. When I returned, owner Freddy initially said "nothing we can do" then tried to sell me a replacement headlight for $3,900. Eventually corrected after significant pushback and documentation. AC Service: Charged $399 for a refrigerant recharge with zero documented pressure diagnosis -- their own invoice only states "customer says passenger side blowing warm." Both sides stopped working after the recharge. Paid additional $230 for a switch replacement that failed within hours. Two visits, $629 spent on service plus over $100 on Uber since I had to take the car to their Plano location, never properly diagnosed. As of today the AC issue persists -- still taking 15+ minutes to blow cold air in hot weather, confirming the root cause was never resolved. Dangerous Tire Overinflation: Most critically -- their technician inflated all four tires to 67-72 PSI. Nearly DOUBLE the recommended 38-42 PSI. Documented on their own invoice and my BMW's tire pressure monitor. This level creates serious blowout risk at highway speeds. Owner Response: Reported the dangerous tire pressure to Freddy via text and phone. Receptionist Emily confirmed he was in office. Zero response over multiple days. No apology. No acknowledgment of a safety hazard they created. I have photos, invoices, text messages and audio recordings documenting everything described above. Do not trust this shop with your premium vehicle.
