There are many reasons why Tires Plus has been my car care and tire company for over 20 years, and today Hayden Thomas personified their desire to provide outstanding customer service and "go the extra mile" whenever possible. After a difficult morning of a flat tire due to debris on the expressway, changing into the "donut" spare, finding out that the donut had a slow leak, and having to use Fix-a-flat on the spare to get my car to his shop, Hayden helped me by first personally airing up my spare so I could drive home and take it to my local Tires Plus. When he found out how far I still had to drive, he was concerned for my safety and took a look at my flat. He asked if I'd be interested in him doing the work if he had that particular tire in stock. I explained that my Tires Plus Credit Card was at home, and I needed to get it so I could put my work on that card. He told me that he could access that information, and proceeded to go in the back and found the match for my tire. His shop was extremely busy, so instead of passing off my work order to others which might have taken quite a bit of time, he took it upon himself to mount the new tire on my wheel, pulled out a floor jack and went about pulling the spare and putting on my new tire right there where we sat. Having a road hazard warranty made the costs negligible for mounting and labor, and this angel saved us from a possibly hazardous trip home and to a different store. His devotion to looking out for customers is remarkable. I told him there aren't words adequate to describe my gratitude for his ability to give us back many untold hours of difficulty by taking care of us right away. We ordered four tires and were told that it would take an hour to install them on our car. We were told the tires would arrive at 2 PM. We got there at 2:30 PM and didn't leave until 6:30 PM. The excuse was that they were understaffed. Why didn't they tell us that from the get go. You are warned! Do not use this business. If you have to, spend your money, even if it is more, somewhere else. I made an appointment to have 4 new tires put on and had a reservation. I was told they have the tires my car uses. I show up for my appointment and wait 15 minutes while the staff has a meeting. We could see them and they could see all of us through the door. Finally, got helped and was told they don't have the tires. They told me they could get them that afternoon or the next morning. I agreed to let them keep my car so that they could do the work as soon as the tires came in. 24 hours passed and still had not heard from them so I called. I was told at this point that the tires were still not there but on the way and the work would be complete before they closed. 5 hours later, I get a call that they haven't even started yet because they lost the key to my car. Supposedly, a tech, who was not suppose to even touch my car, decided to move it and lost the key. At first, they were going to require me to go to a dealership and pay for a new key ($315) and they would reimburse me. They were going to pay for a rental for me, but it was still going to be on me to get the rental and get the new key. I was not going to be able to do that until the next day. That means that they still have my car and it is sitting outside with some other customer having my key. No method to secure my car from damage or theft. The dealership was going to need a few days to get a new key so that meant even more time of them having my car I called them the next morning to tell them what the dealership said, and I was told that they had found the key. They were just waiting on it to be returned. Why didn't someone call me as soon as they knew?? If I didn't call them, I would have picked up a rental and already paid for a new key that was not needed. They told me they would complete the work as soon as key arrived, it was supposedly on the way, which meant work would be done by lunch. Lunch came and went and I didnt hear from them, so I called. I was told they just started working on it and it would be later that afternoon for it to be finished. Finally, after 3, they called and said it was ready. When I picked it up, there was dirt stains on the handle of door on the inside. They didn't even bother to clean it. The best part of all of this was when I showed up to pick up, I had to wait for the store manager to check me out. He didn't apologize or offer me a discount. All he said was that he heard they had a time with my car. Really?!? Everything was their fault and they did nothing to correct it. Again, run from this place. They do not communicate or own their mistakes. Do not spend your hard earned money on a business that does not care about their customers. I will never return. I would rather drive an hour to a different company than return here. read more

We took our 4Runner in to PATCH a flat tire. The next morning, the tire was flat, because they only PLUGGED the puncture, and it didn't properly seal. We returned the tire for a PATCH, but, to make matters much worse, they had lost our wheel lock socket during the car's initial stay. We were without a car for nearly 4 days, while they worked to remove all wheel locks and replace them with a new set. This was all the result of a flat needing to be repaired. Since then, they simply have ignored our request to be compensated in some way for having to be without our car for some many days. I suggested they provide us with 4 days of a FREE car rental. Crickets!! We've had issues with this shop, before, but we had decided to give them another shot. It will be a cold day in Hell, before we use them, again. Buyers be warned. LADIES BEWARE!!!!! If I could give this place -2,500 stars, I would. I brought my car in to have my brakes looked at. I sat there for 2 hours before someone finally took my car back. They called me up and said that my front and back brakes were shot and I needed all of this work done. The man at the front desk tried to apply a "discount" and gave me an estimate of $2,560.00. He was also extremely adamant on me applying for the store credit card and he seemed to only offer it to the women that came in while I was at the shop. Tires Plus is corrupt and is a dime a dozen. They clearly like to scam women and only care about a buck. On top of that, they claimed to have reached out to my warranty company which was FALSE. All they did was try to knock off $300 of the service so they could still make a pretty penny off of me. Good thing I'm not as ignorant and gullible as they think. I was told by the Infiniti car dealership where I get my car serviced at that I needed an alignment. The alignment needed was clearly a slight one since I could not feel the wheel pulling while I drove. Either way the dealership told me it would cost $89 and so I opted to go to a place that specializes in tires since I figured I would get a better deal and I felt that they would do a good job since that's what they specialize in. Tires Plus was offering $20 off lifetime alignments and I downloaded the coupon from online... They had me at Lifetime. So I strolled into this Tires Plus on a Sunday at 2pm and they close at 4 pm on Sundays. I told the young man behind the counter that I needed an alignment and he told me it would be $89 for one and $199 for the lifetime before my coupon was added. I guess they mark up the alignments really high so people will choose the lifetime other than that they can go somewhere and get it done much cheaper. Fortunately I would prefer to not have to worry about certain things that you are sure to have to get maintained on your car often through the lifetime so it's definitely a great deal. Once you purchase the package you can go to any Tires Plus or Firestone as long as you own the car to get an alignment. The staff was all very friendly and professional. They explained everything to me in detail to make sure I was well informed. The mechanic working on my car showed me a detailed diagram of my tires and what they did to get it where it needed to be. I've had bad experiences with maintenance shops so all this information was much appreciated. Plus this is not a franchise, my father has always stood behind Firestone so I trust that Tires Plus owned by the same company stands by the same core values. The only thing that I was a tad bothered by was that the bathroom was dirty. The staff explained that the shop was about to start the process of being remodeled and inspite of how the place looked they actually do clean it just all looks really dirty. Overall I was happy with my Tires Plus experience. I wish I would have known about them and their price matching on Tires before I purchased mine from Sam's Club, but now I know. read more

Sorry, this review is long over due. Normally, people do not have the best interactions with mechanics and the respective companies but in this case I can say I had a very pleasant experience. I had an oil change maybe three days prior to what I am writing about when my car began to smoke. It's not uncommon for that to happen after an oil change but in this situation it was the result of a hole in the oil filter. I have an account with Tires Plus so I was prepared to have it fixed and pay but I believe given the circumstances, Essie realized that it could have been the result of either party and decided to swap the filters out without a charge. I understand $20-30 USD is nothing to celebrate but what it did do was relate to myself and other clients that were present that she cared which in return means the company cares. Due to her customer service, I tell friends to drive pass other mechanics and company's to have their cars repairs at this location because unlike some others they seemingly do not care. Back in November I spent almost $700 at tires plus getting my brakes replaced. In late December and early January my brake light kept coming on. I took it in and they assured me my brakes just needed tightening up a bit. In the next couple weeks my brakes started squealing all the time and passengers in my backseat smelled burning. I had to beg them to let me make an appointment to bring it in and they revealed to me they had installed the wrong brakes on the back of my car and that they were burning and that the rotors that I just replaced were damaged. They did replace this for free, but I was riding around on something that could have caused an accident for months because they did not install the correct rear brakes. I left worried about the front brakes since as they did nothing to them. The brakes are still squealing and squeaking and therefore Tires Plus did not complete the job correctly once again. I have been using this location for over a decade and they used to be reputable, but obviously they are no longer. Had a set of tires shipped there. Right off the bat, the MGR, ( the only Caucasian on-site.) tried to SCAM ME, saying I didn't pay for the installation, when I clearly did through my tire provider. After He seen I was not falling for the scam, he quickly changed and stated I did! (Busted) Afterwards My tires were installed incorrectly.... YES .... Incorrect! THE ROTATION OF THE TIRE HAS ARROWS showing which was to pug the tires on, WRONG DIRECTIONS + wrong weight on each tire for balance + they bent one of my rims! I have called corporate multiple times to no avail no response yet! I am gearing up to file a lawsuit against these criminals to show this garbage tire company that they can't damage vehicle because we don't want to fork over FREE MONEY TO THIEVES! We recently got an oil change here. For the SECOND time, they neglected to properly reattach the plastic covering, resulting in it dragging under our car and forcing us to drive dangerously slow on I-85. We ended up having to take the car in somewhere else to get it reattached. Here's to hoping it didn't cause any damage... Not sure why we went back here after this happening before, but hope no one else makes the same mistake. read more

My 1999 Chrysler Concorde has spent a lot of time at Tires Plus this past year: in 2010, I've purchased four new tires, had numerous oil changes, and replaced two window regulators (on separate windows, on separate occasions). I've been a loyal customer now for two years and am consistently pleased with the quality of their service and the friendliness of their employees, especially the store manager, Val, who's even done things like answer questions from my mother (who lives in Ohio) himself over the phone about the state of my car and gotten one of the service dudes to drive me home (1.5 miles away) when I had to be at school and couldn't wait on my car. The lounge area could be improved (better seats, less obnoxious TV shows shown) and the free coffee they offer is pretty disgusting (and this is coming from me, who drinks just about anything placed before her), but all in all, I wouldn't want to take my car anywhere else. read more

I've been using this location for well over 10 years, but never again and John is the reason. Literally, had to dig through glove compartment to prove the tire and hazard warranty purchased at this location covered the replacement of a tire with a nail in it. Once making it clear I would pursue it he honored the warranty, but the oil change became $60 and the battery $200. Both way more than they should have been. I have been going to this particular location since they opened here and ever experience has been a pleasure.My two stars is only for the customer service I received on Saturday 6.30.2018 by Erin Perry. As a Sales Teammate like his card states he was unprofessional and was not knowledgeable. I scheduled an appt to receive service and once I arrived he told me I did not have a appt because it was not confirmed by his manager. I told him my email confirmation stated if it would not be able to be completed I would be "called directly to discuss other convenient appointment options" this never happened. After some back and forth and him reviewing the system he found my appt then proceeded to tell me they close at 5:00pm. You will not have my car until 5:00pm when I have a 9:00am appt for an Oil Change and Tire Rotation. While he was typing my information into the system I asked whether or not there were some coupons online, Erin told me "No". I immediately looked online and found a coupon for my high mileage oil change, no help from the Sales Teammate. He had to reprint the ticket. When he entered my coupon information he gives me the new ticket and had to reprint again because this time he left off the Tire Rotation. Overall, Erin Perry gave me horrible customer service. I have been a customer here since they opened and I and my family take all our cars here. Very disappointing. read more

I finally couldn't wait any longer, tried to get my keys back, but had to wait longer because another customer (who had way more patience than I'd ever have in the same situation) was arguing that no, he shouldn't have to pay for an additional set of four tires, over and above the ones he already bought because they put the WRONG tires on his car. I definitely recommend going somewhere else. If you decide to take your vehicle here don't expect speedy service. The guy at the front will stare at his computer while you patiently try to wait politely but you will need to get his attention first. What was supposed to take one hour for a simple oil change and brake inspection, took over 3 hours. To top that off they stripped my tires lug nuts putting the tire back on and then acted as if nothing was wrong saying "we torqued it to manufacturer's recommendations". This place is awesome! In February, I left my vehicle there to have new tires put on. When I went to pick up my vehicle; I was shocked by the price. Not only did I get the "buy 3 get one free" deal, but they also put in the President's Day discount that I wasn't even expecting! They also explained to me the recommended services that I will need in the future. I didn't feel pressured about getting the recommendations done right away. And they didn't make it seem like my vehicle would fall apart as soon as I drove off the lot if I didn't get it done! I was so impressed with my first visit that I thought I'd give them a try for the services they recommended. So today I had the wheel bearings replaced. It was more than what I was quoted because they didn't know all the parts that were needed until they really got in there. I explained to the service adviser my budget per the quote I received and he worked it out for me! Right down to the penny! He was able to find the parts I needed for less. I highly recommend Tires Plus. Their customer services is excellent (they call to let you know what's going on with your vehicle), they get you in and out (they care about your time) and their prices are more than fair (some repair shops will break the bank)! There is another competitor's shop right down the road from them, but their customer service, time and prices just doesn't compare to Tires Plus. read more

Bought four new tires here last week and had them installed. A+ service from start to finish. I came to this location because the previous week my son had gone there with a damaged tire 10 minutes before they were closing. Normally places will not take in new business this close to closing since the service will extend beyond closing time. These folks accommodated my son despite being near closing time and soon had him on his way at a fair price for what he needed. He was very impressed with his service advisor, Shaq, who was knowledgable, professional, and courteous - again, despite the fact that it was nearing "closing time." You sure don't see this kind of service everywhere! He was so pleased that, knowing I'd be purchasing four new tires the following week, he suggested I give them a shot. I did so last week. Despite having to go during midday when they were quite busy, someone took my work order right away at the front desk and I had a seat in the waiting room. I don't expect miracles from car service folks in terms of time - don't see why so many people complain about how long service or repairs take. It takes however long it takes, people! Just anticipate there may be a wait and bring something to do if you also plan to complain about TV in the lounge not being on a channel you like or whatever. Personally, I brought a couple magazines and did not finish reading both before my four new tires were installed and ready to go. I checked in at 12:43 pm and out at 1:59 pm, more than reasonable for installation of four tires given that they were really busy when I got there. As for the employees, Shaq was there once again and took my work order (same young lady who'd assisted my son the previous week), friendly and professional. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the young man who checked me out when my car was ready, but he too could not have been more professional and courteous. Got my new tires at a very fair price and it was a pleasure dealing with the shop from start to finish. I'm a big believer in taking a couple extremely negative reviews with a grain of salt when there are also many positive reviews for a business. Look, some folks just like to nitpick or have unreasonable expectations for the type of service they're getting. (Car repairs can take time, it's not speed dating. Oil changes? If it's taking a while, maybe that means the place is busy because people LIKE going there!) The claims of fraud or being "ripped off", who knows, could be a bad one-off experience or an employee that has since moved on. I prefer to judge for myself, just the type of person I am. Me, I got four new tires installed quickly and at a very fair price and all interactions were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. This is a great establishment, I'm confused about all the reviews, as I'm from New York and their service was fast efficient and reliable. Richard kept me posted and informed the day before installation of my tires. When I arrived he had everything already arranged. They have a television from 90's which had an antenna still too. I didn't see one of those televisions since I was 14. But that's besides the point, I was in and out in no time I waited no more than 20mins. I was glad to find such a place they also gave me a great deal on my tires which they had to order as they don't carry them in stock. I was more than happy with my decision. I bought a vehicle with less than 30,000 miles and got my brakes done January 2019. How is it come Oct. 2019, you tell me my rotors are rusted and gone, but my brakes are 5's and 4's. When i got my brakes taken off in January they were 3's and 4's not even red zone? A slap on job and wanna charge $900 for front and back rotors?! You're never getting a dime out of me. They didn't take my car back until 230 and told me I needed pads and roters front and back and it was going to cost me 679. Front was going to cost 250. I have been here for 4 hours and I'm still waiting. Why bother scheduling an appointment? They will not get another dime from me and I will not send another person here for anything. I got my oil changed this morning at Tires Plus. I made an appointment online for 8am and got there around 7:50. Since it's a holiday there was no one else there and I was out by 8:20am. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and Ron, the manager, was very respectful. I asked them to check the transmission and brake fluids, which they did at no additional charge. Ron even gave me a bunch of coupons and a rebate for today's oil change. I was very pleased with the service I got and will definitely be going back the next time I need an oil change. read more

Very disappointing! I was so excited to see this place was open on Sundays so I would not have to take time off work. The services was awful and they did not fix my flat. Instead they wanted me to buy new tires. I dropped my car off at 9:00 AM when they opened. I was the third person in line. I never heard from them. I went ahead and headed over around 3:30 knowing they close at 4. When I arrived, my car was on the lift in the garage. They said they could not fix my slow leak because there were two holes. They also said my tires were really bad and needed to be replaced as soon as possible. Not only were they very pushy about selling me new tires, but if I chose to purchase them at that time, I wold have had to wait even though my car had been there since 9:00 AM. Ridiculous! I asked why they didn't call me. They claimed they did so I pulled out my cell phone and saw I had a missed call from them at 3:20 PM. This was the only time they called. Im really surprised to see the negative reviews on here. Have been going to various Tires Plus over Atlanta and always been taken care of with great rates and great service. They truly only offer stuff you need when you go in for an oil change. (unlike the Jiffy Lubes, et all out there) They also mail good coupons all the time and always go above and beyond. On one particular Saturday morning visit a year or so ago, I needed to make the bank by Noon that day. When the manager realized that my brake job was taking longer than promised, he offered to let me borrow his car. That is what I call taking care of the customer! The current Store Manager is Val. A couple of years ago, I had a streak of bad luck with tires. They seemed to attract all kinds of sharp, pointy objects to them. I ended up at Tires Plus because it was the closest place to me. It got to where one of the guys recognized me when I'd come in. Yeah, I had that many flat tires that year. But he and the rest of the folks I dealt with were very nice, so I started coming in for oil changes, alignments, and whatnot. My SO even started coming here and has gotten very helpful and informative service. Overall, I am glad that I ended up here because the staff is always friendly. Service is not always fast but it's pretty hassle-free. I would not come here with a looming deadline or time commitment, I will say that . For a standard oil change, I've waited anywhere from 30 minutes to almost two hours. Even with an appointment. It really just depends on what they've got going on, I guess.
