I ordered three drinks through door dash and specifically placed certain instructions. When the person came to deliver my drinks I only got two of them that I ordered, the third drink was not even what I ordered. I ordered the Pink Volcano without any sea salt creama but received the RPM instead. I strictly can't drink any caffeine. It's disappointing that I had to pay over $30 for three drinks to only get two of them right. I get that there store can get busy at times but it's bad business when they can't even get a customers order right when it's time for delivery. Today was my first time at Tisane, I usually go to Tastea for milk tea, but I was feeling bold today. I came in today around 9 and it wasn't too busy. The inside was somewhat dim, but interior was nicely done and clean. I was nicely greeted by the 2 girls at the register and they offered me samples right away! The girl who was giving me samples was patient (as I practically tried every sample they had HAHA) She also gave me plenty of recommendations for milk teas and teas. I ended up settling with the "Roast is History". For those who like their tea on the darker side, I definitely recommend this one! I've heard a lot of things about Tisane over the past few weeks. They're currently in their soft opening phase, so hours are limited - I think they open around ~4pm? We finally had a chance to try it and I 100% agree with every review saying how this place is a carbon copy of Pekoe. The interior is very similar - dark with bright LED lighting inside. Looks like a trendy club inside with the very familiar seating arrangements. We didn't have to wait too long in line, but I took a while ordering since all their drinks are completely original. There's some that remind of the other drinks at Pekoe, but most of them were pretty different. We ordered a bunch of drinks to bring back, but I got a Sugar Hill for myself. Sounds like your standard brown sugar milk tea drink, but with brown sugar jelly. I'm used to having boba, so it was different but not bad! I honestly wished I ordered 25-50% sweetness instead of 75%, because it was still way too sweet for my taste - almost to the point that it was artificial-tasting. I think I only made it through half my drink before I couldn't drink it anymore. It's nice that you get big cups, but unfortunate that I just couldn't finish it due to the overwhelming sweetness. They also ran out of honey boba, which was disappointing too. Overall, 3/5 for me. I used to love Pekoe a lot, so I was excited to try Tisane when it finally opened up, but disappointed with the drinks. Maybe it's just me and I ordered something that I wasn't into; anyways, don't think I will return any time soon, but might check it out during their grand opening one day. Found this new spot for boba and I love the unique variety of flavors, others have commented on the similarity to Pekoe (if not exactly the same), but the vibe here is more laid back. I've tried and enjoyed drinks from countless different boba shops in the San Jose area, so believe me when I say this: This is my new favorite place to get boba in San Jose! The reason being, is that all 5 drinks I've tried so far have been equally amazing and delicious! Quick recommendations for if you're in line figuring out what to get: I've tried Barney & Fruits, Blush, RPM, Dew Berrymore, and Melon Rouge at 75% sweet and less ice, and all have been delicious and interesting in their own distinct ways. My girlfriend and I came to their taste test event, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the quality of their establishment from top to bottom. We were greeted by the owner of Tisane right as they opened for the day, and the interior and lounge waiting area is super chic and really comfortable, the workers, although clearly flustered by the huge wave of customers, were all friendly and courteous with enthusiastic recommendations for menu items, and the quality and consistency of the drinks and toppings I've tried so far is hard to beat! One thing to note, is that sweetness level is definitely something you need to adjust for your taste. It might take a couple of visits to figure out what levels of ice and sweetness you prefer, but once you do, it's worth it! Try out what interests you on their menu and take a hit at the adjustments yourself and I'm sure you'll find something you'll love. tldr; you really can't go wrong with any drink on their menu as long as you adjust the drinks to your liking, and the vibe is really cool! rip pekoe this place is way better read more

Same vibes as pekoe. Pretty laid back and it Lowkey looks like a night club LOL I dig the seating, lots of cushy couches and the employees are very nice. The tea is good, I got a Jasmine green milk tea with regular pearls. Pearls were fresh because they were still warm and the tea had the tea taste and not a syrupy taste. Great new boba shop on the Eastside! I got the Golden Milk tea and I believe its an English Breakfast milk tea infused with golden brown sugar and comes with crystal agar. I asked for no toppings but I guess the girl didn't hear me correctly and my drink came with the agar. :/ When I got the drink it was really sweet for me. I couldn't finish it because their regular sweet tasted like more sweet. I was sad I couldn't drink the rest but the drink was really good. We were on our way to get In and Out when my friend told me that there was a tea place in the same plaza. We ended up not getting in and out and went to go try their milk teas. I was super excited as I walked in, they had some really nice music playing and I believe we had to wait a little because there was a line. My friends has tried this place before so she recommended me some drinks and I believe we ended up getting the Duke of Earl drink. It's really good. Wondered why Tisane is rated so highly and now I see why. It reminds of Pekoe but many factors make it much better the more I think about it. The cups are decently big, the pricing is good, and the service was quick. A popular flavor I assume, I got the Blush. This strawberry milk tea wasn't too sweet but still had hints of strawberries. The strawberry jelly is also a nice bonus as well. I can see how Tisane can get crowded and busy at night. Tisane is definitely a hit in it's area and I probably will go here again. read more

Tisane usually has good drinks and a great ambiance, but their drinks can be wildly inconsistent in terms of quality. This time, I literally found not one but two weird things in my drink so far. I got the white rose milk tea and I first sipped up this weird filmy, brown substance. It's similar to the film that develops when you boil milk. The second substance I found a few sips after was a short, thick hair. I took pictures of both but I'll spare y'all from disgust. I'll provide it if management would like to talk about this. Tisane, please do better in maintaining the quality of your drinks and sanitation of your workplace. Finding not one but two weird things in my drink is absolutely unacceptable. read more

One of my top 2 boba spots in San Jose. I come here when I'm in the mood for creama on my tea, I go to boba bar when I want actual boba. (Sorry tisane, pls get better balls) The creama goes really well with the mung bean (which tastes like the milk at the bottom of a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch) highly recommend. A many reviews suggest, do get your sweetness to 25-50% for all drinks. Ordered Blush, but it reminded me a lot like Nesquik Strawberry milk. I believe Pekoe's equivalent, Pretty in Pink, gives more of a tea taste than Blush, which gave more of a strawberry flavored milk taste. This is a great place to visit if you prefer fruit teas over milk ones since this has a wide selection of them (Melon Rouge, Barney and Fruits, and Winter Blossom are recommended for its refreshingness). Dew Berrymore gave a distinct honeydew hit which is unique, but would also down the sweetness to 50% instead of 75%. read more

When I got here, there was no wait. While my boyfriend and I were deciding what we wanted, many people came and ordered before us and there was practically still no line. The service here is pretty quick. I ordered the Green Panda and my boyfriend got the Ride or Thai. We both enjoyed our drinks. We didn't read the description all the way and thought that the drinks came with regular boba included but it was just agar pearls. Next time, we'll remember to ask for boba. A very good alternative compared to Pekoe; the lines are faster, the place is clean, and the drinks are probably if not on par, then better than Pekoe! My two favorites are RPM and Two to Mango! Pros: - They have very refreshing teas that are not too sweet. - They have a huge selection of toppings that matches well with pretty much all their drinks. My favorite is the mango stars and agar. - They also have free delivery on doordash so you don't have to drive there! Cons: - They don't have much milk teas and the ones they do have aren't the best. Basically Pekoe, but different? I came here during their soft opening and there was already a ton of people coming here. They might as well just do a grand opening already. I really enjoyed that they allowed you to test out all the drinks at a testing bar, but the layout of the store was just kind of weird. The drinks are definitely on the sweeter side. I tried multiple drinks at the testing bar and ended up getting the blush. I got it 75% sweet and it was still pretty sweet to me. If you don't have a sweet tooth, might want to get 50%. There is a huge parking lot so you shouldn't have trouble finding a parking spot. The inside of the store is pretty dark and pretty loud so if you're trying to find a place to hang out and be able to hear each other, you're probably better off getting a drink and going somewhere else. read more

The OC/Westminster spot is wayyyy better. The workers are rude and passive aggressive.. I can't even get a thank you back after thanking them for their service. The drinks are way better in OC, the staff working tonight we're not friendly. The girl taking our orders at 10PM on April 1st was very rude and so was the girl handing out the drinks. Rich tea flavor, I always get 50% sugar. It's always a long line here but it moves pretty quickly. The staff is very nice and friendly, ask for a tea tasting and you'll be treated like VIP, get to sample various teas before you find your favorite. I like the vibe and the people that go here. Unfortunatley I was not a big fan. The atmosphere is sorta club-like which could be fun with friends, but makes it hard to order/hear when your order is called. The service was not very good, the cashier was working on something but did not look up or aknowledge the customers for 5 or so minutes, and we were considering going elsewhere, but I had been wanting to try this place. I was able to try both the roasted oolong milktea and the brown sugar milk drink. I got a quarter sugar on the oolong and it was really sweet, what 100% sugar is like at most other boba places. The other drink was the same, and I did not finish it. Also, I personally am not a fan of drink places that have the drinks listed with the toppings, as opposed to the teas and flavors with toppings seperate, but that is just my preference. read more
