Andrei was pretty awesome. Here is what happened: 1. It was snowing in my bathroom from a skylight. That ain't good. The snow fell upon my triceps muscle, causing a wave of cold to smash through my nerve endings. 2. I called Andrei after hours. He picked up the phone, whilst his child wept in the background. Andrei cared more about my cold triceps than he did about his own child. 3. He appeared the next day, and had a freaking massive ladder to get up onto my roof. He checked it out, whilst I fretted that he was going to come tell me that the repair cost was going to be $96,000. 4. He re-rang my doorbell and told me that it was a minor issue and would only cost me $125 to fix. 5. He fixed it. The point is, this guys is trustworthy, and cares more about your roof than he does about his own children. Think about that. Tar and Shingles are what this man stands for. Original installer gave me run around for weeks and eventually told me that warranty was not covering the repair of buckled plywood, and wanted to charge me for the repair. Titan Roofing is exceptional! We had three different roofers come out to take a look at some leaking we had above our garage in our old 15 year+ roof. We had just moved into this home, and were worried about the age of the roof and whether it would last another one of those snowpocolypse Chicago winters!!! The other roofers told us to replace the whole roof and they couldn't guarantee a repair above the garage would result in no leakage. Andrei also recommended replacing the whole roof, BUT he fixed the raised shingles with some tar, on the spot, no charge, just for peace of mind. Now, that's going the extra mile. And he had the best quote for the roof replacement so naturally we choose Titan Roofing. I was concerned about getting it done before a certain date (I had a baby due) and Andrei was able to fit us in time, even a week earlier than he had planned. He helped us pick out the best color. I can't say enough about Titan Roofing... I found Titan Roofing through Yelp, looking for a local company. They responded immediately via email to our request for an estimate, and came out and provided an estimate the next day. We needed all new decking (which I also mentioned to 2 other roofing companies who would not include that in their estimates, saying that would be reflected in the final cost) Titan included the TOTAL cost in their estimate (about 4K less including the new plywood). 2 days ago (Saturday), Titan showed up on time, did way more than planned for 1 day (because of weather and possible village closing issues) and secured our roofing job until they could return. This contractor says they work within a 15 mile radius of Buffalo Grove, but when contacted for work claims they don't work this far out. We had two roof leaks repaired by Titan. The owner came out, carefully measured gave me an estimate. Returning two days later and did a repair. Tha area was repaired unsuccessfully by a different roofing contractor. Andrei was so excellent. He explained in detail with pictures what the defect was, the extent of the re-repair and the finished repair. Well it's been raining cats and dogs and no evidence of any leaking.
