Update....Titan did compensate me for the damage they do which was nice, but then the first time went went to turn on the heater for the winter, it blew cold air. They did get somebody out there within a couple of days who really knew what he was doing, but apparently the original installers didn't test it like they were suppose to, so right now, wouldI recommend this company? I was having issues with my AC Unit and I called a local AC company to come check it out. The first company said my AC unit was old and needed to be replaced. I didn't want to make a decision based off what one person said because I don't know much about AC units. I searched for another company for a second opinion. I called Titan upgrade and spoke to Arthur about my issue. He sent someone over the same day to check out my unit. After doing some diagnostics they recommended I change my filters instead of the whole unit which ended up saving me thousands of dollars. Titan Upgrades is the absolute worst! They replaced my roof 2 1/2 years ago and I have had to come back multiple times to repair mistakes they've made. The original leak in my roof which prompted me to have it replaced in the first place late last year and again this year. It is nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone unless you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau or the California state board of contractors, which I'm going to have to do again in order to get my roof fixed. We had an absolutely awful experience using Titan Upgrades for our $19,000 HVAC installation. They 100% outsourced our entire job, were completely uncommunicative, and took zero accountability. Not only was the wrong type of system installed in the first place (electric instead of gas), but their negligence left my family without power for 3 weeks in the middle of winter when the system they did install failed completely 1 day later. When the system went down (again 1 day after install) I never heard from them again, and was left working with the subcontractor to get a replacement system found and installed. I reached out to Titan Upgrades and my "project manager" 15 times after our system went out and never got a hold of a single person, or got a single call back. My job was estimated to take 3-4 Days and in reality took almost 2 months. Seriously, go with another company. read more

The installation of our roof was a little over a year ago and everything went well. NOW, I need a vent installed in my new roof. I've given the project manager a week to get a date for the roofer to come out and I've just been getting the run around. No response to my communications or just an "ok" response. Do not let Titan Upgrades fools you. Our project was supposed to be a 5 day job and ended up being done in about 3 months. What is so bad is they blamed the home owners for the delay. Their crew showed up with no materials to work with. They were just moving dirt. They hire the cheapest sub-contractors and try to tell you that everything is "beautiful". Their guy named Tait called us micro managers whenever we point out things done incorrectly. Their manners and how they treat their customers is less than 1 star, very disrespectful, attempting to bully us all through out the time, telling us we need to pay them and that they will do the project however they want it done and we can go find somebody else to do it the way we want to and pay for it on our own. Be very careful! They tried so many times to cut corners especially when you are not looking. Tait, when not in good mood consistently antagonized and challenged and lied to the home owners. Got in contact with Titan Upgrades a few weeks ago to get a quote for an HVAC replacement. I normally wouldn't leave a yelp review for just getting a quote, but they refused to give any details on what kind of AC unit they would install and that I should just 'trust him'. He even wouldn't give a written quote for the price that he was offered stating that 'they don't work that way'! He even acted offended when I told him that I wanted something in writing first. I ended up getting in contact with another HVAC company and got a written quote for a little more than half the cost of what Titan Upgrades wanted. Just an overall word of advice to any yelpers looking to have major work done: Get multiple quotes & always get everything in writing first and demand details, because if those details aren't on paper it's possible they will burn you later. read more

Our roof was leaking so bad that it net home to a flooded bathroom. I called Titan upgrades and they were able to send James the very next day. James is very persistent. Their roof is quite expensive but it's guaranteed for 50 years and they do have financing. He had some guys come over that same day and have the leaking part of the roof covered with plastic for the upcoming rain. Elpidio was the site manager that was great. He helped us get our solar panels off and placed back on. We were informed of everything and all our questions were answered. Very satisfied with the customer service from Titan. Recently purchased a new townhouse and i noticed my AC wasnt blowing as cold as it should. Called another company they told me it needed freon, that was a quick fix, couple weeks later same problem. Called the same company and they told me my coils were frozen, watever that means. After spending about $600 and getting no results I just decided to replace the whole unit. Raffy from titan came out pointed out some ducting issues which were preventing my unit to work to its full potential. Took care of ducting issues and upgraded to a 3ton unit. The unit blows hard and it blows colddddd. I called 3 companies and titan was the most competitive as far as pricing and they were very helpful in educating me regarding all the issues.
